I Can Go Get My Knife

Annaleigh's POV:

The night of the party was finally here. It's being held at Vibiana. I knew there was no better place to have my party.

I'd heard nothing but wonderful things about the place. When I was looking at venues they were great. The second I saw the grounds I had no doubt this was going to be the one.

At first they were booked the night I wanted. Thankfully someone cancelled. Since I put myself on their waiting list I got a call and naturally I swopped right in and took the place.

The party is in full swing. Everyone is laughing and smiling and just overall having the time of their lives. All two hundred and fifty of them. The announcer calls everyone to attention.

"Ladies and gentlemen your attention please. Let's hear a loud round of applause for Annaleigh who made tonight possible."

The room goes nuts with applause. The announcer waits for it to quiet down again.

"Now without further a due the cake." All of my friends and family go wild when they see the cakes.

First we have an entirely chocolate skull and roses cake then there's the killer heels cake. I'm handed a knife I cut into the chocolate cake first. Once the claps die down I cut into the heeled cake next.

The cakes are taken away so everyone can get their pieces. A few minutes later servers come out with cake for all. We all take seats and enjoy.

Thumping music starts back up again once mostly everyone has finished. I'm right back on the dance floor. It didn't matter that my shoes were killing my feet I was too busy having a good time to care.

Hollers sound when My Darkest Days Move Your Body comes on. My best friend grabs my hands. Together we grind on each other laughing our asses off. It was a perfect end to am amazing day.
