I Can Go Get My Knife

Matt's POV:

Right away I notice Willow's change in behavior. I lean closer to her. She bends down to whisper in my ear.

"That's her Matt. I'd recognize that voice anywhere." She says.

I don't have to question which her Willow is talking about. There's only one person who could have her this shaken up. We share a look.

Willow nods her head. I slide my wedding ring off. Once it's in my pocket I list my hands to rest on the bar's surface.

"I'll take whatever you'll give me sweetheart." I say laying the charm on thick.

This is justice for Willow. There is absolutely no part of me that wants to see this woman bloodied for she did to my wife. The best part is she doesn't even seem to know who Willow is.

Willow's POV:

It makes me sick to hear Matt talk sweet to this disgusting vile thing. I know that he's doing it for me so it eases the urge to vomit but only slightly. She flirts with him completely ignoring my presence.

Matt's done a great job of getting her to take shots with him. She doesn't even realize he's spitting then back into his empty beer bottle. She turns to look at the clock.

Her hands rest on top of Matt's. She gives him what she believes is a sexy smile. In reality it's like looking at a rusted yellow taxi that's just gone mudding.

"I'm off in twenty minutes." She says.

She rattles off her address. That's all I'd been waiting to hear. With this information I take my leave. I know it won't be long before the pair will be coming to me.

Her place comes into view about five minutes later. The outside door keeping the residents closed off from the rest of the world beyond doesn't close all the way. It's easy for me to make my way inside the building.

After a couple of flights of stairs I find myself in front of apartment number 7G. There's no trouble for me when I pick the lock. Entering the apartment I lay in wait for what I know is going to be a glorious night.
