Welcome To The Family.

I woke up, smiling, replaying what had happened in my head, I looked to the right of me and saw my bed was empty. I knew he probably wouldn't stick around, the never do. I looked at my phone and saw the time was 5.21am, he must have left a few hours ago, I have myself a sad smile and got out of bed.

I walked into my bathroom and locked the door, I turned on the shower and waited on it heating up, I looked at my phone again and noticed I had a couple of text messages.
The first one read;

Hey.. sorry I had to leave, I had to take care of some stuff, forgive me please? - Brian

I shook my head and sat my phone down, I tested the water with my arm and I stepped in, I let the water pour down my body, feeling my tense muscles relax, I took a deep breath and then let it escape, why the hell did I sleep with a stranger? Especially the day I got broken up with.
To be honest I didn't really care for Nick anymore anyway, he had cheated on me a few times in the past year, I don't know why I didn't break up with him sooner, I guess I was just scared of being alone.
I grabbed some body wash and shampoo, I poured it over me, wasting half the bottle.
Once I was done I stepped out of the shower, and picked up my phone, I walked back into my bedroom and sat on my computer chair, should I text back? I sat for a further ten minutes before deciding to get dressed.

I stared at my naked body and the scars that covered it in the full length mirror, I had learned to just get on with them, they remind me of how strong I really am, I don't need a blade to get through the day anymore, I don't need pills either. I was quite flattered by the way my body looked, I never had a complaint about it, I admired myself in the mirror some more and then I heard my phone ringing.

"Hello?" I said into the phone, waiting for a response.

"Uh.. Hey"

"Brian?" I asked, not sure if it sounded like him or not.

"Yeah, are you busy?" He asked.

"Well, if you're asking for round two, then no, I'm definitely not busy" I laughed a little and bit my lip. Brian why silent for a few seconds and I could hear people talking.

"No" he laughed a nervous laugh. "Would you like to come out for lunch today and meet my friend?" He questioned.

"Yeah sure, what time?"

"12 should be good, I'll pick you up at yours?" I could hear him get excited.

"Sure, see you soon, Haner" I heard him laugh a bit and I ended the call.

I looked at myself in the mirror and gave myself a big smile, time to meet some new friends.

I grabbed my hair dryer and started drying my long, black hair, once I was done I straightened it and it came just above my butt. I grabbed a pair of matching black underwear, I quickly shoved them on, I then started to do my make up, a light coat of foundation and dark liner, I wanted to look at least a bit presentable. I grabbed a pair of black skinny jeans and a an oversized T-shirt, okay then on my bed, I had three hours to kill so I didn't bother getting dressed the now.

I walked downstairs and into the kitchen where I met my aunt.

"For the love of God, sweetie, do you know what clothes were made for?" She asked sarcastically.

"Just imagine it's a bikini" I laughed and she rolled her eyes. "Are you getting ready for work?" I asked.

"One better dear, I have the weekend off, and Jason, is taking me away for that weekend, which is what I wanted to talk to you about." She leaned against the counter staring at me.

"Will you be fine on your own, honey? If you want me to cancel then I understand"

"Don't be so silly, aunt Suzanne, enjoy yourself, you deserve it" I gave her a warm and she hugged me.

"I love you pumpkin, but I better run, I leave in half an hour" she looked at me excitedly.
"Have fun and I'll see you when your back" I laughed.

She skipped out of the kitchen and went into her bedroom to pack her things, I made something for eating and had some coffee and I said goodbye to my aunt when she left.
Still two and a bit hours to go.

I put a film on in the living room, and lay flat out on the couch, I was struggling to keep my eyes open, my eyes won, not even half way through the movie, 10 minutes I thought to myself and drifted off into a dreamless sleep.

"Sienna?" I jumped from the couch, my heart racing, I looked around and then my eyes connected with Brian's.

"Brian, what are you doing here?" I yawned and stretched at the same time.

"We made plans, remember?" He looked a bit annoyed " You weren't answering your phone or the door, and the door was unlocked so I just came in to check on you"

I gave him an apologetic smile. " Sorry, let me just grab my things"

"Don't forget your clothes" he laughed at me.

I looked down and remembered I wasnt dressed, I felt my face heat up with embarrassment "Give me two seconds, please"
I ran up to my room and quickly got dressed, grabbed my phone and my purse and ran back down stairs "Just need shoes" I shouted to Brian who was standing in the living room.
I slipped on my black converse and straightened my outfit. Ready.

"Let's go, slow poke" I laughed at Brian who laughed back.

"Are you ready to meet my friends?" He asked me walking out the door.

I shut the door and locked it and turned to Brian, "We've slept together now, this is a better time than any" He gave a slight chuckle and we walked to his car.

"You'll really like them" He told me, whilst starting up his car. I nodded and smiled at him, hoping he was right.

Most of the journey was us listening to music and talking about ourselves. We finally reached our destination, which actually looked like a bar. We both walked in and Brian guided me along to a group of people that must of been his friends, they all looked like they were dressed to impress and I looked like I had just woke up, I looked to see that Brian was wearing jeans and a shirt and he couldn't have told me to wear something nicer?

"Hi guys, this is Sienna" Brian introduced me, I gave a slight wave and they all gave me a smile.

"This is, Matt, Zacky, Jimmy and Johnny, these are my best friends" he said with biggest smile ever.

"Hi" I said almost a whisper.

"Sit with us" the shortest one said with a smile.

I sat down still keeping quiet. It was awkward to begin with, but all the guys started talking amongst themselves and I just listened in, a woman came over with plates of food on them, they must have ordered before I got here.

"I got you the same as me" the short one started saying, I looked up at him and smiled "I'm Johnny by the way"

"Thanks, for ordering for me" I said to him and he gave me a big smile.

I started eating when the rest of the guys did, I only ate the salad, leaving the steak.

"What's the matter?" Brian leaned in, "I don't like steak" I told him. He just nodded his head and continued eating.

"So, Sienna, that's a nice name, and your last name is killer" The tall guy I believed to be Jimmy spoke up.

"Don't i know it" I laughed.

"How come we've never seen you about?" The muscly one asked.

"I recently just moved in with my aunt due to.. family trouble" I smiled at him and he nodded not wanting to do if any deeper

Everyone started ordering drinks, one after the other, Brian had ignored me most of the day so I just sat and spoke to Johnny, who is actually the same age as me, the other guys are like twenty one or twenty two, me and Johnny got on really well, we were making jokes and he was telling me about the other guys, we exchanged numbers and spoke some more, we were the only ones not to get drunk, and when I saw Brian hanging over other woman I started to feel uneasy, and I tink Johnny could sense it seeing as I kept looking every two seconds and readjusting myself.

"Brian" Johnny shouted "What?" He tried to shout back, his speech starting to slur.

"Thanks, but it's okay, I'll make my own way home" I said to Johnny telling is leg.

"I can give you a ride, I can come pick these guys up later" I shook my head no.

"I need a bit of fresh air anyway but thanks it was lovely meeting all of you, hopefully we can do it again soon"I gave him a kiss on the cheek and walked out the bar, I started to walk home trying to figure out which way it is, I wish I just jumped n the chance to get driven home, too late to turn back now.
