Big Not So Bad Wolf

Allie's POV:

At the sound of the cars pulling into the driveway I race out side. I rip the back door open nearly crushing the handle. Zacky has our daughter and son curled up sleeping soundly in his arms.

I grab them both from his arms. My kisses are peppered all over their cherub faces. I squeeze them to me not caring if I wake them up.

Zacky wraps his arm around my waist and walks us back inside. The smile wouldn't leave my face. Once in our room I inspect every single inch of them only satisfied when I've seen for myself there aren't any markings on either of my precious babies.

They explain to me about the vampire who had taken the twins. Right away I know exactly who it was.

"Tell me you killed Evey." I beg.

"Was that her name?" Matt asks.

I nod my head in confirmation. Matt lets out a loud chuckle.

"Zacky literally ripped a gaping chunk from her neck and gouged her chest open. Them he stepped back and let a necromancer eat her heart."

I turn to look at my mate and husband. Zacky shrugs his shoulders add if to say it was no big deal. I'm happy to know we won't ever have to worry about her again.
