Big Not So Bad Wolf

Allie's POV:

I couldn't eat. The thought of sleeping while my babies were gone was completely impossible. Zacky had assured me we'd find them.

They had been missing for five days now. As each day passed I was growing more and more depressed. I wanted to hold my son and daughter in my arms and never let them out of my sight again and I don't care of that made a smother mother. It's the only way I could be one hundred percent positive they stay safe.

Phoebe comes into my room. She sits at the end of my bed. I don't even glance at the tray of food in her arms.

"The faster you eat the faster to can hear the news I have." She says.

She slides the tray over to me. I picture myself launching at her and forcing her to talk. I simply don't have the strength right now to follow through.

Picking up the salad I take a few bites. I swallow them and show her the bowl. Phoebe shakes her head.

I'm forced to finish the enter salad much to the displeasure of my empty stomach.

"A few of my friends in Miami heard about an auction happening this weekend. There's rumours that two wolf pups are on the docket." Phoebe says.

I'm up and out of bed at the word auction. By the time she's finished speaking I'm dressed and my bag is packed. I give her a look asking her what she's waiting for.

Phoebe flashes me a smile. I follow her to her and Brian's bedroom. She grabs her bag.

We walk down stairs. Everyone else is already there. Phoebe gets a smug smile on her face at Brian's look of doubt.

It takes two cars to hold us all. Once we're all set we pull out of the driveway and are on our way to the airport.
