Big Not So Bad Wolf

Zacky's POV:

Declan comes into my office. I'm playing with the twin while Allie takes a little nap. I motion for him to take a seat.

"I would like your blessing to take Cheyenne as my mate." Declan nervously says.

I couldn't help but chuckle. As far as any one was concerned they already were mates. Declan helped Cheyenne with everything.

He pretty much has not left her side since she gave birth. I had honestly been waiting for this very conversation. I hadn't thought it would take him so long to ask but I can understand he wants to be teen thousand percent sure.

"Of course I'll give you my blessing. I take it you've already talked to Cheyenne about this." I say.

"Yes we both agreed this is what we want. She'd also like to take my last name as well as give it to our children." That's another thing we've all noticed.

Declan as always referred to the pups as their children and not just Cheyenne's kids. It was just another sign that they were really meant for each other.

"So granted." I say officially.

Walking around the other side of my desk I embrace him in a quick man hug as Allie likes to call it. I inform him how happy I am for the two of them. Then I tell him I expect to see them at the party for their children as well as Allie and mine.

It's the night of the party. My eyes don't move from Kole. I want the weaselly bastard in my sights at all times.

Part of me worries he'll try something seeing as how his last plan failed. I truly hoe he has the balls to try because that will only give me more cause to have the traitor skinned alive.

Sadly the night passes without indecent. As he's going to leave my hand falls on his shoulder. I wanted nothing more than to sink my claws in and tear the flesh from his bones but I restrain myself.

"Come back to my office with me. I want to thank you for all you did to help bring Allie home." It's an utter lie but he doesn't know that.

He follows me through the house and into my office. I smile to myself knowing he doesn't have a clue or suspect what's coming next. Turning the door knob I let him walk inside first.

A small commotion is heard as Kole is knocked out by Matt.
