Zacky's POV:

At hearing Allie tell me Kole is responsible for her kidnapping I almost lose my shit. That motherfucker had the nerve to come to me and say he'd help any way he can all the while knowing exactly what had happened and who kidnapped her. When I get my hands on him he's fucking dead!

I don't care how old the bastard is. It doesn't matter how many years he'd served on previous councils. None of his past good deeds cancel out arranging the kidnapping of my mate.

Allie is laying peacefully asleep beside me. I can't take my eyes off of her. I'll do absolutely anything to protect her, Artemis and James.

It still warms my heart that she had chosen to make our son after Jimmy. I just wish I could have been there to see our babies come in to the world. The question that comes to my mind is who's clothing was used to bundle both children.

Both the shirt and sweatshirt were men's sizes. Neither would fit Allie so I know die wasn't wearing them. That means that someone else had helped Allie deliver the twins.

I'll have to ask Allie who it was in the morning. I want to meet this person. They deserve to hear my many thanks for being there for my family when I couldn't be.

I take in the sight of James and Artemis sleeping. They might never know I was absent at their time of birth but I will. I vow I will spend the rest of my life making up for missing their birth.
