Big Not So Bad Wolf

Allie's POV:

My eyes slowly open. I find myself looking into Zacky's vibrant jade orbs. Part of me wonders if in pain induced haze I simply conjured up what I wanted to see most, Zacky by my side.

My doubt is washed away when Zacky's lips claim mine. I have a very active imagination. But it's not good enough to really this real so I know I'm not dreaming.

He's really here. Zacky my Zacky is truly here with me! I kiss him back with everything in me.

He pulls away from my mouth. I whimper at the loss.

"You're bleeding a lot. You need to deliver the after births. Do you understand?" Zacky says.

I nod my head not being able to find words in this moment. Zacky grabs both my hands in his. I'm told to push by a different voice.

The voice calls that it's one down and one to go. I don't take my eyes away from Zacky scared that he'll disappear. When prompted I push with all my might.

"Very good. Now you can relax the bleeding has stopped." I recognize Theorion's voice.

"Where are my babies?" I question.

I also wondered where Jimmy had gone I'm pretty sure it's back to heaven but I had wanted to thank him before he left again. I didn't voice this question because I didn't want to reopen old wounds. I'll always know the Jimmy was there in my and my babies' time of need and that's good enough for me.

I'm handed both my babies. It dawns on my the I don't know the sex of baby number two. Holding our child out to Zacky I ask him to unwrap our bundle.

"It's a girl." He says pulling the shirt back.

Our daughter wiggles in Zacky's arms trying to get back to her brother. It's clear that even though she's the younger twin she still wants to protect her brother. I know exactly what her name is going to be.

"So we have a son and a daughter. James Zachary Owen Baker and Artemis Emelia Devarouex Baker." I say.
