Big Not So Bad Wolf

Chapter Fifty-One

Declan's POV:

I'm outside in the garden doing my morning exercises when Allie comes outside. Right away I can tell something is different with her. I ask her off everything is alright.

She understands right away what I'm talking about. Her eyes widen. I quickly inform her it's not my place to say anything.

A smile graces her lips. Allie turns to walk away. Calling out I question her if she be willing to learn some meditation to help aid  her in destressing herself.

Allie's POV:

I decide to take a walk in the garden. I had no idea Declan was out here.

"Is every thing alright Your Grace?" He questions.

Some how I know that he has at least a pebble of an idea of what's going on with me. My eyes widen in fear of it coming out.

"My place isn't to inform others of what's not my business." Declan says placing his hand comfortingly on my shoulder.

Smiling to myself. I breathe a huge sigh of relief. I knew that I liked him for a reason.

"Some meditation might help with destressing you." He offers.

"I'm not sure how to." I answer feeling silly for not knowing.

"That's perfectly alright. It never hurts to learn something new." He replies smiling kindly at me.

Declan shows me that first I should be sitting Indian style with my legs folded and crossed in front of me. He tells me to close my eyes and focus on my breathing. Making sure I take deep breaths in through my nose counting to give and exhale through my mouth also counting to five.

Then he explains that the only time your mind will ever truly be clear is when you've moved on. Declan stresses the most important part isn't clearing your mind. Instead it is relaxing your body to allow your mind to calm itself.

In starting to have my doubts when suddenly I feel the built up tension slowly exiting my body. It honestly seems as if my shoulders are lighter. No longer is the weight of the world upon me.

With one last exhale I open my eyes. Jumping to my feet I throw my arms around Declan. He seems totally caught off guard.

Clearly he isn't the hugging type. Is doesn't matter to me though. I know he didn't have to take up some of his time to reach me this useful tip. He deserves some thanks in return and this is my thanks.

After a moment his hand pats my back. We break apart. I thank him with my words. Leaving him with a good morning I make my way back to the house.
