Big Not So Bad Wolf

Zacky's POV:

Brian and Phoebe are well on their way to Miami. Johnny and Autumn's flight had just departed. Unfortunately our plane didn't leave for another hour.

Plus we also have an hour and a half layover in Chicago. I knew neither of us were going to calm down until we have the girls back safe and sound.

Finally after what feels like a never ending parade of people coming and going our boarding is called. I don't care who I shove past on my way to the plane. My sole focus is not waiting any longer than I have to to get my ass on the big metal tube that's going to take me where I need to go.

The captain announces we can now turn our electronic devices back on. My phone rings right away. It's Brian calling.

"We've searched this entire city. Phoebe has used her contacts. I'm sorry but they aren't here." Brian says sounding really disappointed.

"Well thank you both." I tell him to pass the message onto Phoebe.

"We'll meet you in New York City." Brian offers.

"You'll never make it in time. We got this besides we still haven't heard from Autumn and Johnny." With that we both hang up.

It feels like no time at all and we're landing in Chicago. We exit the plane. Matt looks like he's as anxious as I am. Just as we find and take a pair of seats my phone rings.

"Johnny?" I question answering the call.

"I'm sorry Zee. I talked to a local pack here there's been no signs of our girls. None of your guy either." Johnny sighs. 

"You did a job. Thank you. You and Autumn stay for a while and enjoy. Can you put her on the phone?"

There's the sound of Autumn taking the phone from Johnny.

"I'm s..."

"I promise you no matter what we'll bring them both back safe. You have nothing to be sorry for. Both of you did exactly as I asked. There was no guarantee they were in Aspen anyways." I offer Autumn the best I can give her I just wish it could have been more.

Putting my cell phone back into my pocket I turn to Matt. I don't have to say the words. I already know he's heard both conversations.

The layover is the longest of both of our lives. If we had been smart we wouldn't have taken our overnight bags. That way we could have just run from Chicago to New York City.

I'm ready to rip my hair out by the time we finally land at LaGuardia Airport. We did get smart this time. A car was already waiting for us when we exited the airport.

Even though we both wanted to go storm the bastard's house we have to go to our hotel first to come up with a plan. Once at the hotel we get one room to share. The young kid behind the counter gives us a look. Matt and I ignore him not in the mood to even comment.

Grabbing the key card we make our way to the stairs. They're taken two at a time. Anything to get us to the room faster.

The green light barely flashes  and the door is being shoved open. Our bags are dropped. Matt shuts the door.

"It'll be dark in less than an hour. That's when we'll strike. Remember it's not just this Liam prick it's also this other vamp Elijah." I explain.

"You take one. I'll take one. It's as simple as that."  Matt has it all set in his mind.

We're dressed in our darkest clotting. The less were seen the better. Our feet take us closer and closer to this douchebag's house. I'm sure Matt's heart is pounding as hard as my own.

Finally the house comes into view.
