Big Not So Bad Wolf

Zacky's POV:

Normally I run with the guys but tonight I just needed some alone time. I stopped mid leap. There was no way I could ignore someone calling for help.

Turning around I race towards the scream. I know what tonight is and exactly what is reeking havoc so I pump my legs as fast as they'll go. I was going to use every ounce of power I had to make sure another victim wasn't found.

The smell of blood fills my nose. I'm greeted by a hiss. I growl back warning the creature to back down. It advance on the woman.

Springing from the bushes I only have a second to check if the girl is still alive. I find her eyes starting at me. Seeing she's alive I focus again on the vampire.

A jump over her has me blocking vampire's path. I charge at it. The nails of its hand claws my side sneering me even more.

Opening my mouth I grab the filthy monster in my teeth. I tear a chunk from its neck. The awful screeching sound leaves the vampire's throat as it dies.

The woman is my only concern now. I find she's unconscious. Luck is on my side when I see she has a small purse. It's contents scattered all around.

A moment later I'm holding her license in my hands. It tells me her name and address with a few useless other things. I know exactly where she lives thanks to living in HB almost my entire life.

Gathering her belongings I put them back in her bag. I grab Allie in my arms then head in the direction she lives. Not long into the walk her house comes into view.

Her keys dangle from my finger. I shift her slightly so I can unlock her front door. Walking inside I set her keys in the bowl and shut the door behind us.

Two dogs rush over growling showing their teeth. I stand still allowing them to sniff me. They both sit down their tails making that thump noise against the floor.

I give them both a pat on the head. The stairs lead me up to where I believe the bedroom will be. It turns out I was right.

The dogs follow me into the bedroom. I lay Allie down on the bed. Going through her night stand I find aspirin. I dump two into my hand and put the bottle back.

A glass is sitting on the dresser. I take it to the bathroom. Dumping it out I refill it with fresh water. My legs carry me back to the bedroom where I set the water next to the pills.

Allie's face seems peaceful. I stare for a moment to make sure she's alright. A nudge hits my hand. With one last pat to both dogs I take my leave.
