I'm Not Insane (I'm Just A Natural Born Killer)

Matt had begun to hallucinate again he had another one of his episodes again but this one was more serve than the rest of them and this had me worried about Matt's state of mind the future of our relationship is really bleak the only thing that's keeping us from falling apart is Matt's unconditionally love for me and his bandmates don't get me wrong I love Matt but this was all getting to be a little too much for me and I could see that the guys were getting annoyed I want to help Matt I do but how do I do that without him blowing up at me ?

Jimmy and I had made plans to visit Matt later today if he took his medicine and is up for visitors he had been hospitalized for a few weeks and I had some time to go talk with his mom and dad before going to see him I watched as Jimmy had to make a few adjustments to his car again he really needs a new car his old one was old and shitty and I did not want to be seen in a car like that. Jimmy popped in his Aqua CD for the fifth time and if I hear that CD one more time I'm going to jump out of this window. I looked over at Jimmy and he seemed like a five year old on Christmas morning.

"Can we listen to something else please ?" I asked.

"Why Brian ? You love Aqua." Jimmy smiled.

"Jimbo I'm going to jump out of this car window if you don't turn that shit off." I said clearly annoyed.

"Alright Mr. cranky pants." Jimmy finally stopped and had gotten out on the middle of the highway I pinched the bridge of nose.

"Come on Brian were taking a break." Jimmy opened my door and pull me out of the car.

Jimmy had no care in the world and I smiled at him the sun had began to set which meant we had only 3 hours and 14 minutes left until we reached our destination and I was more than delighted to get back on the road with my best friend and go visit the love of my life he needs me more than I need him we were that co dependent on each other were just like two lovesick teenagers in love after Matt left Val about four years ago he really poured his heart out to me.


~Flashback~

"Val we need to talk." Matt took Val's hand.

"What about ?" Val asked.

"We need to break up." Matt said clearing his throat.

"Why ?" Val asked.

"I just made a mistake a really huge mistake." Matt ran his fingers through his hair.

"THAT'S WHAT I WAS TO YOU?!?! Val yelled.

"NO I HAVE FEELINGS FOR BRIAN THERE I SAID IT YOU HAPPY NOW!" Matt yelled.

"Well goodbye Matthew have a great life with your new lover." Val walked out without saying a single word to the distraught frontman.

Jimmy had stopped completely we must be here already Jimmy and I jumped out of the car walking into Cook County Mental Ward I can't believe Matt had come to this point he seemed healthy on the outside but on the inside he was completely out of mind.


"Can I help you gentlemen ?" A redhead nurse asked.

"We are here to see Matthew Sanders." I said.

"Oh yes he is out today and isn't expecting any vistors." The redhead nurse said.

I began to get really annoyed Jimmy had stepped outside for a smoke and I just sat in the waiting room alone and lost in my thoughts we drove all of this way for nothing but then something popped in my head maybe we can strike a deal with Matt's other personality now I started to act crazy I called Matt and he answered surprisingly he had caught a ride with a new friend so it was time for Jimmy and I to get back on the road and have a little talk with the devil.
