My Stockholm Love

The next 3 months went by in a blurry drug induced haze. Graduation came and went but instead of walking across that fucking stage I grabbed my diploma and went straight to the tattoo shop. After getting a brand new tattoo I started an apprenticeship with one of the top tattoo artists in town. It didnt take long for me to find my calling but when I realized that my life was falling into place I turned into a whole new person.

It took years to clean up my fucking act, I cried, got locked up, went to rehab, came back out just to relapse and do it all over again. Each time I did it I got stronger, and now I own this fucking tattoo parlor and I make a really good living for myself. Oh and I forgot to mention when I turned 18 my mom split, left me and Emmett to fend for ourselves, but we are doing it just fine together.

Emmett has turned into my best friend, my confidant, my other half, and my own personal hell raiser. I spent all of my time with him and its no surprise to me that I found myself in love with him very easily. He truly changed 100% and I was glad to have him by my side.

I woke up to the alarm going off and Emmett sleeping like a log. I shook him and got him up so we wouldnt be late for work. I walked in the bathroom and slightly curled my now black/blue hair before doing my makeup and throwing on a tight off the shoulder tee, skinny black jeans and my heels.

I grabbed my leather jacket and purse before heading out the door to open up the shop. After lunch I got in and stood by the counter to talk to another artist Mike when a group of guys walked in the doors. How I wished I never looked up, but I did and the second I did all the high school memories hit me like a brick in the face.

I turned around and snuck away hoping they wouldnt see me, but I was dragged out by my wrist when Brian asked for the "Best artist" in the shop. And thats when their jaw dropped.

"Viv?!" Jimmy screamed as he gathered me into his arms.

"Hey Jimmy" I said sliding out of his arms and turning to look at the others. "So whos getting ink today?" I asked in a hurry as I grabbed my things to bring it upstairs to my part of the shop. Brian spoke up and told me about what he wanted as we walked up the spiral metal staircase to my room that overlooks the rest of the shop.

I drew something out for him as the group gathered around me and watched every move I made. As I started the tattoo I decided the awkward silence needed to go, "So what have you guys been up to?" I asked as I glanced up to look at Zacky, gleaming green eyes sent a shiver down my spine.

"Were in a band, making a good name for ourselves actually" Johnny replied. We talked for a little while but Zacky always stayed quiet, just watching me and what I did. "So how long have you worked here?" Matt asked me and I just shot a grin his way, "I own this place" I said as Mike walked in and pulled his lips to my ear, that made Zacky shoot up to his feet.

Mike didnt notice but I did and I laughed a little before pulling away from Mike and giving him a hug and letting him bounce out the door. I talked with them about things as the tattoo came to life right before everyones eyes. I cleaned it and let the guys check it out before collecting the money and discarding all the trash at the station.

Soon all the guys left and I was closing up the shop. I was out back smoking a cigarette by my car when Brian, or Syn as he likes to be called now walked up to me.

"Uhm hi, what are you doing here?" I asked as he leaned against my car.

"Im here because youre coming with me" he said as he took a step towards me.
