I've Never Seen A Diamond In The Flesh
-Two Weeks Later-
Amanda and I were currently at a conference in New York, and we were loving every minute of it. New York was awesome, and their fashion centers were just as amazing as the city.
I got up to use the restroom, while we took a short break. I was so excited to see the new fashion updates they were going to show us, I literally had to pee. I was making my way to the restroom, when I was approached by a middle aged man.
"Excuse me, you were in the meeting, weren't you?" He asked me.
"Yes, I was." I answered.
"I was just wondering what you would think of working here for us?" I thought it was a little weird that he was willing to offer me a job without even getting to know me first.
"Wow. I don't know what to say."
"We have about ten minutes before the meeting resumes, why don't you follow me to my office, and we can go over some things, and see if you'd really like working here."
"Uhh, yeah. Sure." I followed the man to his office, and sat down in front of his desk. He sat down on the edge of his desk, directly in front of me.
"So I'm willing to make you an offer you can't refuse." He said, leaning towards me.
"What's that?" His hand grazed my leg, and continued on towards the hem of my skirt. "What in the hell do you think you're doing?!" I yelled at him. I got up so quickly, my chair fell backward.
"I was just..."
"Just what?! Trying to get in my pants! Fuck you, and your stupid fucking vain job offer!" I stormed out of his office, and made my way to the elevator, to go back down to the meeting. Just as the doors on the elevator were about to close, a hand came in between them, and stopped them in their tracks. The doors reopened, revealing the man who had just tried to make a move on me. "I thought I told you to fuck off." I said through gritted teeth.
"You did, but I'm not very good at taking no for an answer..."
