Follow The Tides, Wherever You've Been

Celebrate The Night, It's The Fall Before The Climb

It's been six months since Matt and I started dating. Honestly, I don't think either of us could be happier. Matt is like my better half, and I love him for that.

Brian has gotten over it, almost completely, or at least, he acts like he is okay with us being together. At first, I think it was kind of hard for him to handle, but him and Matt still act like the best of friends, and Brian and I have learned to be good friends, as well.

Right now, the guys are on tour, and I've been here, at the house, alone, for what feels like years, but has really only been four months. I got the job at the fashion institute working for Amanda. Her and I are really good friends, and she's coming over later to keep me company.

--

"Let's go out for a few drinks tomorrow night, after work! You could probably use one!" Amanda suggested.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Nothing insulting! C'mon, please?! It'll be a Friday night, you need to get out and do something!"

"Fine, we can go out. For one drink, that's it."

"Yay!"

Matt's Point of View

"Goodnight, San Antonio! You've been a great crowd! Thank you all for coming!" I yelled into the microphone, as our set ended. This was our last show on our tour, the next two shows had been cancelled because of freak incidents with mother nature. Damn forest fires, and hurricanes.

I couldn't be happier, though, that we were coming home early, and I'd get to see my Bradley. Next time, she was coming with us on tour, I'd see to that. These past four months without here were excruciating, even with calling her every single night. Hearing her voice only made me want to be there with her more.

The guys and I made our way backstage, and handed our instruments off. We high-fived, and congratulated each other on such an awesome set, as we walked back to our bus.

Everything was packed up, and ready to within the next hour, and we were on our way. We would be home sometime tomorrow evening, and I couldn't wait to see the look on Bradley's face when she saw me.

-The next evening (Friday)-

I'd only had two drinks, which was more than I said I would have, but Amanda was on a roll. This was her eighth drink tonight, and she was starting to get really tipsy.

"C'mon, we better get you home, Amanda. You sure as hell don't need anymore drinks." I grabbed her, and steadied her, before leading us both out of the bar. "I'm not even going to bother taking you home, and leaving you by yourself in this state, you can just crash at my place tonight." I said to her, as I hailed a cab.

--

Our bus pulled up in front of the house, and we immediately hustled off.

"Hell yeah, it feels good to be back home!" Zacky yelled.

"Would you shut the fuck up, it's late, and people are trying to fucking sleep!" Brian yelled back at him.

"You're yelling, too!"

"Both of you, be quiet." I said to them.

We hurriedly unloaded the bus, and ran into the house, as our bus pulled away.

"It's fucking dark in here, I don't think anyone is home." Zacky pointed out.

"Hmm. No shit." Johnny said to him.

"Shut it, short shit."

"I'm not that fucking short, you guys are just freakishly fucking tall!" We all laughed at him.

"I wonder where Bradley is." I said aloud.

"It's a Friday night, man, she's probably out getting shit-faced." Jimmy said.

"Oh yeah? When have you ever known Bradley to get shit-faced?"

"Umm. Never."

"Exactly."

"Are we going to just stand here, or are we going to put our shit away?" Brian questioned, just as the front door opened, and Bradley walked in, leading a pretty drunk looking girl.

She flipped on the lights, and screamed when she was us standing there. I rushed over to her, and put a hand over her mouth.

"Whoa. It's just us." She calmed down, and I removed my hand.

"You guys are home early! I missed you! I missed all of you!" She yelled, looking at us all in astonishment. She lead the girl over to sit on the couch, before giving us each a hug. "Wait, why are you guys home early?"

"Last two shows were cancelled." Johnny answered.

"Oh, I'm sorry, guys."

"No, it's okay, because now we're home! And we get to see you again!" I said to her.

"Hell yeah!" She yelled, before quieting herself. "Oh shit. Sorry, guys. I hope you don't mind. This is Amanda." She said, pointing to the girl, now laying asleep, on the couch. "She's my boss at the fashion institute, but she's also become a really good friend of mine. She's had one too many to drink tonight, though, so I'm sorry for the non-formal introduction."

"She's hot." Zacky said. Brian punched him in the arm. "Ouch, dude."

"I'll get her up to my room, so she can sleep there."

"I'll carry her up there." Brian volunteered. Bradley looked at him questioningly. "Hey, I'm not going to pull anything, she's drunk, and sleeping, and I'm not that kind of guy. Zacky is."

"Hey, fuckface. You better watch it. I don't do that shit." Zacky snapped at him.

"So defensive." Brian said, as he lifted Amanda effortlessly into his arms, and carried upstairs. He returned soon after.

"I'm glad to see you were true to your word." Bradley smiled at him. "Now let's celebrate!"

Aww, I'm sorry to say that I won't be making a sequel to this story. This was my first story on here, and looking back at it now, I really don't like the way it turned out. But I appreciate your comment. :) it means a lot to know someone liked the story.
