Follow The Tides, Wherever You've Been

The Occurence

"Bradley!" I heard Sam's voice from the living room. Sam and I, along with the Sevenfold crew had decided to go back to the apartment. We had only gotten the crew to agree to come back with us after we thoroughly explained that we were not creeps, we loved their music and their band, but we would never try to kidnap them or doing anything stupid. I hurried to the living room only to realize the room was completely empty, I walked over to the window, looking down at the sidewalk below, the guys were all out for a smoke break, I was the only one in the apartment. Hmm, that was odd, maybe Sam had came up real quick. I was still watching them when I heard Sam's voice coming from his room down the hall this time. I quickly swirled around. "Bradley! Why won't you answer me?!" I heard from his room. His voice sounded agitated. I made my way, slowly, but surely, to his room, I knew for a fact that Sam was still downstairs with the guys. As I approached his door, I looked in on his room, Sam was for sure no where in sight, and I must be hearing things. Just as I turned to walk away, I was shoved out of the door, banging my head hard on the wall as I slid to the floor, and the door was slammed in my face. I yelped in pain, as I hit the floor. "Sam! Someone! Help!" I yelled as I felt the back of my head. I pulled my hand around to my face just as I heard the guys coming in to the apartment. The last thing I saw was blood, before I settled into darkness.

Sam's POV
The guys and I made our way into the apartment, moments earlier I could've swore I heard Bradley yelling for me, but she wasn't in the living room. The guys settled on the couch, with the exception of me, I had to use the restroom, and I needed to find Bradley, and see if she was alright. I made my way into the hallway to go to the bathroom, but as I started to turn towards the door, I realized Bradley was laying outside of my bedroom at the other end of the hall. "Shit! B!" I yelled, running to her. I could tell as I stopped next to her, that she was unconscious. I checked her pulse, her heart was still beating, that was a good sign. The other guys made their way up to me and Bradley in the hallway.
"What the fuck happened to her?" Brian asked, his eyes wide and full of concern. I smiled to myself, not facing them, knowing that soon enough, Bradley would have five new best guy friends who would be just as concerned about her as I would be.
"I don't know." I replied.

Bradley's POV
I stirred a little, and felt hands wrap around my waist. I freaked out, and struggled to get away, my eyes shooting open.
"Whoa, B, it's me, Sam. It's okay, I got you, you are okay, now." Sam pulled me closer, and into his lap as I calmed myself down. "B, what happened, were you calling for me?"
"Yeah," I replied, shaking again from the thought of what happened while the guys were downstairs. "I heard you calling for me, but you weren't in the living room where I thought you'd be. I saw that you guys were downstairs smoking, so I didn't think anything of it, until I heard your voice again, it was coming from your room. I made my way over here, and looked in, but I knew for a fact you were still outside. No one was there. I felt something shove me, hard, into the wall, and I hit my head, the door was slammed in my face. I called for you, and I heard you guys coming in, but when I saw the blood, I lost it."
"What.The.Fuck." Sam replied, the guys quickly following in unison.
"I don't know, Sam, I'm scared." I cowered further into his arms.
"B, maybe it was a gust of wind, or something." I looked at him in disbelief.
"I should've known you wouldn't believe me." I ran to my room and slammed the door. I heard the guys, including Sam, making their way back into the living room. I held a hand to the back of my head and felt the knot that was forming, and the still wet blood. I went to the bathroom, started up the shower, and stepped in, letting the cool water wash away the blood, and my worries. I stepped out, and dried off, throwing some pjs on. I laid down in bed and tried to get comfortable.
A while later, I was about to fall asleep when I heard the door open and shut. I didn't bother to turn around, I was still mad at Sam for what he had said earlier.
"B," I heard him speak, sliding in behind me in the bed. "I'm sorry. I had the guys go home, and told them we'd be seeing them soon. I thought we could talk about what happened. How's your head?" He felt the knot at the back of my hand, and I flinched, it still kinda hurt.
"It's fine." I snapped. "I don't stitches, it's nothing big. I don't want to talk about what happened, I already told you everything, and you don't believe me, so why bother again."
"Bradley, I'm sorry. I just don't know what to think, babe. I've never experienced anything like you've described, nothing even remotely close, I don't even know if I believe in spirits or ghost or whatever you want to call them." He wrapped his arms around me, and pulled me to his chest.
"How come you've never tried to make a move on me?" I suddenly heard my self say, without thinking. I quickly regretted it, I didn't want things to be awkward between us. "Sorry, I didn't mean to say that. I wasn't thinking. Awk."
Sam chuckled a little before responding. "B, it's okay, you can talk to me about anything, we are best friends, and we always will be. That is part of the reason I've never made a move on you, I wouldn't want to lose our friendship if something went wrong. I love you, B, I always will. You are funny, smart, crazy, and drop dead fucking gorgeous, and I know you deserve way better than me. I'm just waiting for some guy to come along and grab you up, but not before I make sure they are good enough for my baby girl."
Now, it was my turn to laugh. "I see. I wouldn't want to lose our friendship either, I like things just the way they are. And I'm still waiting on my knight in shining armor."
"I know, B. Someday he will come." He started to sing softly as he ran a hand over my hair, and it wasn't long before I was in a deep slumber.

Aww, I'm sorry to say that I won't be making a sequel to this story. This was my first story on here, and looking back at it now, I really don't like the way it turned out. But I appreciate your comment. :) it means a lot to know someone liked the story.
