RAE POV


This last month had been so chaotic, to say the least. We decided to hold off on all plans for a little while and let everyone just relax, especially Nix and Gretchen. Nix and Zacky were still not used to having babies and running around looking like chickens with their heads cut off.

Everyone would take turns with the babies just so they could get a little bit of rest every now and again.

I couldnt sleep so I quietly got out of bed without waking up Matt and walked over to the twins room. I peeked in and seen Holly holding both babies in her arms rocking back and forth in the rocking chair. "Oh, ill come back later" i whispered to her. she shook her head and nodded for me to come in.

"Which one do you want?" she motioned to the babies and I grabbed Derek out of her arm.

"Thank God! my arm fell asleep about 20 minutes ago" she smiled as she re-situated Deanne in her arms.

"Youre going to make a wonderful mom Holly, you know that?" she tried to hold back her excitement but you can see the happiness all over her face. When she told Jimmy he started crying and she thought he was mad but he reassured her that was not the case.

"I hope so, I just cant believe I finally found where I belong" tears started to slowly trickle down her face, but not sad tears.

GRETCHEN POV


God it feels so good to be home, with my family, were I belong. I was on constant bedrest but with the twins arrivals I just couldnt stay in bed, no matter how hard everyone tried to make me.

Everyone was being duds, trying to hold off their plans, but I still made my plans and stayed on schedule.

I also took the responsibility of putting together Matt and Raevyns wedding, since Nix and Zacky are just going to the courthouse to get married. Lyric walked in my room and sat on the bed, knowing I couldnt sleep.

"Do you wanna go get the twins?" she asked. Why not? It had been a couple hours and I was already missing those beautiful little demons. Derek is the spitting image of Zee, hair, eyes, button nose, big lips, you can tell hes going to be a lady killer when hes older. Although he looks like hes trouble, he is such the biggest sweetheart that anyone could ever meet!

Deanne though, that girl is another story. I walked in the room with Lyric in tow, it seems like all the women in the house had the same idea so I grabbed Deanne and Lyric took Derek as we talked about the first time we all met.

I have to admit I never in a million years would have thought I would be in the place I am now, I looked around the room at everyone so happy, so comfortable, so involved in each other, and that made my heart melt inside of my chest.

Deanne was demanding my attention with her tiny grunts so I looked down at her gorgeous little face. She inherited that eye thing from her mother, one green eye and one blue eye, but she also has her mothers slightly thinner lips, Zees nose and his hair, but her face was pure Nix.

NIX POV

I rolled over and felt nothing besides a pillow, for a second I got worried and shot out of the bed, worried about Zacky. I began to calm down when he pulled my into his chest, he was sitting on the edge of the bed with the baby monitor in his hands.

"Are the babies awake?" I asked, getting ready to go get them and put them back to sleep. "Yea, but all the girls are in the room with them, im just listening to them all talk about how much they love the babies" he grinned.

"I was thinking maybe we should do something for all of us" it was true, we were beginning to get stir crazy being at home all the time, but no one would ever admit it. Even I was starting to go a little nuts myself.

"What should we do?" he asked.

I shrugged, well shit, I hadnt thought that far ahead. "How about we get up early and I will arrange everything while you make breakfast, then when im done I will help you and we will just surprise them with a trip?" my genius man.

"That sounds great, now lets get to sleep" I held my arms open for him and he wrapped up on my immediately, falling into a nice slumber. I just hope everything goes ok, its been a long time since weve seen or heard from Larry.
