Bachelorette, strippers, whiskey oh my!

Avery’s POV

“Come on, Brian! Let’s go!” I called as I fixed my hair in the mirror at the bottom of the stairs. “We’re going to be late! Maya is going to start texting any minute!”

Brain and I were supposed to be at Matt and Maya’s house in five minutes for a dinner party but my lovely husband-to-be hadn’t come out of the bathroom yet. He had been dragging his feet all afternoon about going out with our friends and took extra long in the bathroom, trying to avoid the inevitable. I wasn’t sure what was up with him, but it certainly wasn’t normal. Had he gotten in a fight with Matt that I didn’t know about?

“Are you sure you want to do this tonight, Ave?” Brian grumbled as he walked down the stairs looking extra mouthwatering in his black button down shirt and dark wash ripped jeans. “We could just stay home, you know. It’s not like we don’t have wedding planning to do.”

“Don’t be silly, babe,” I said, stepping around the corner to grab my clutch. “Maya would kill us if we canceled. You know how much work she puts into these things.” Not to mention that I would feel extremely guilty.

Brian sighed and I could hear his footsteps pacing the living room somewhere around the corner. “I know, I learned the hard way not to piss off Maya Brandon but I think time would be better spent at home,” he continued, sounding just as moody as he did before he got in the shower. What was his deal? “We leave in a few days and I just want to spend some time with you before—” he said, suddenly stopping mid sentence.

“Before what?” I asked, turning around to see him staring at me with a dropped jaw.

“No.” Was all he said as he shook his head, making me more than a little confused. Was something wrong with the way I looked?

I raised a questioning brow at him, totally lost. “No what?”

“We’re not going...especially with you wearing that.” Brian crossed his arms over his chest as he licked his lips, undressing me with his eyes.

“What are you talking about? This is the dress you left in the bathroom for me in the bag. Didn’t you pick it out?” I questioned, looking down at the stunning dress.

It was a thigh length white lace and tulle dress with a pink underlay and intricate silver beadwork around the waist and shoulders. The dress fit me perfectly, hugging my curves in the just the right way and accentuating my butt and cleavage. It was almost like the dress was made for me, and knowing Brian, he probably had Maya make it. She was the only one with my exact measurements and knew exactly what I liked. This had to be her handiwork.

With an exasperated sigh, Brian looked up at the ceiling and ran his hands over his face, muttering something that sounded like, ‘Goddamn it Maya.’ I quickly moved over to him and wrapped my arms around his waist. “What is going on with you today?” I asked, searching his stunning brown eyes for the answer he wasn’t telling me.

“Nothing, you just look beautiful to share,” oh and if that wasn’t his Synyster Gates smile, I don’t know what was.

“You don’t like it,” I frowned, stepping away from him and letting my hands run over the stunning dress.

Brian quickly shook his head and took my hands in his, an apologetic look on his face. “That’s not it at all, love. It’s quite the opposite actually. You look absolutely sinful and I want to keep you here for myself and not let my friends drool all over your,” he finished, cupping my face and looking into my eyes. My heart instantly melted and I couldn’t help but blush. “You’re mine, love and I could show you exactly what that means if we head back upstairs,” he cooed in my ear, his hands running over my ass.

“Oh stop it,” I blushed, pushing him away and stepping into my white stiletto heels. “It’s not like your friends have never seen me in a nice dress before. Besides, I bet Maya will be wearing one too and I’m pretty sure it’ll just be our friends tonight anyway.”

“I hope you’re right…” Brian muttered, causing me to raise my eyebrow at him. “Are you sure you don’t want to call it off?”

“We’re not calling it off,” I said pointedly before I headed out the garage door. “Let’s go, we’re already late.”

Fifteen minutes later Brian and I were sitting in the car in front of Matt and Maya’s house, finishing our cigarettes before we went in. He kept checking his phone and cursing under his breath but refused to tell me what was going on. I just hoped his mood would turn around once we got inside, or it wouldn’t be an enjoyable evening for anyone.

“There are a lot of cars here,” I commented, looking down the street as my anxiety started to rise. What kind of party were Matt and Maya having? “I didn’t realize there were going to be so many people here.” I shifted uncomfortably in my seat, hoping this wasn’t some sort of surprise party for us. God I hated those! Surprises weren’t really my thing and Maya knew that.

“Either did I,” Brian added, sounding even more disgruntled than before. “If you want we can turn around now. No one knows we’re here yet.”

“Don’t be silly, Brian,” I sighed, grabbing my clutch, opening the door, and throwing away my cigarette butt. “We are already here. So stop dragging your feet and lets go have some fun with our friends.”

“If you say so…” he grumbled, taking my hand and leading me up the walk. “But don’t say I didn’t give you the option.” What the hell was that comment about? Did he know more than I did?

“What are you talking—” I started as the front door opened.

“SURPRISE!”

I gasped in shock and stumbled backwards into Brian as about twenty people greeted us in Matt’s foyer. What the hell was this? My heart was racing a mile a minute as I opened and closed my mouth in disbelief and panic. There was a reason I hated surprise parties and feeling like I was about to die of a heart attack was one of them.

“Wh-what is this?” I asked, looking bewildered between Brain and Maya, who was now dragging me the rest of the way into the house. Was this an engagement party?

“Welcome to your surprise bachelorette party, Little Gnome!” Maya gushed, throwing a hot pink sash around me that read ‘bachelorette’. “I hope you like the dress I made! It looks so good on you! Oh, and wait until you see what we have planned!” She rushed out all at once, my head spinning.

I nervously glanced back at Brian to see him standing in the doorway with a locked jaw. So that was his problem – he was pissed off because he knew tonight was my bachelorette party? Was he mad because we wouldn’t be spending the night together? Well, that was sweet in a twisted kind of way. I was honestly surprised he went along with Maya’s plan, considering how resistant he was all day.

“Oh, and it’s time for you to meet the guys at Johnny’s, lover boy,” Maya continued, turning Brain around to go back out the door as Jess forced a shot of whiskey down my throat. I grimaced, my throat burning as I tried to get back over to Brian to give him a proper goodbye. The only problem was that my friends wouldn’t let me. “You will see your lovely bride-to-be tomorrow morning as she recovers from her wild night. Goodnight, Brown Eyes!”

“Wait a minute,” Brian said as Maya tried to push him out the door. “Don’t do anything stupid, okay Ave? I love you—” Was all I heard before the door was shut in his face and I was forced to take another shot.

“Let’s get his party started!” Maya cheered before the crowed let out a ‘woo!’ behind me.

The next thing I knew, I was seated in middle of Matt and Maya’s lavishly decorated living room with a large hot pink bag and a tray of shots in front of me. I was already starting to feel warm and fuzzy from the drinks my friends kept handing me while I was catching up with everyone. God, it had been ages since I had seen some of our old college friends, but no one would let me go with an empty glass. At this rate, I would blackout before the night was even half over with.

“Alright ladies, it’s time for our first game!” Jess announced, passing out another tray of shots. “I thought we could start with a simple game to get this party started. It’s called How Well Do You Know the Groom,” Jess said and I instantly smiled. This was going to be a piece of cake. “So before you got here Ave, we had everyone fill out a bet slip.”

“A bet slip?” I laughed. “So you’re all betting on how well I know my soon to be husband? You are all sick and twisted individuals!”

“Did you expect anything less?” my friend Caroline yelled. “You knew that already!”

“Exactly, so everyone betted on which questions you would get right and wrong. If they guess right, they get a token, if they guessed wrong they take a shot. The winner with the most tokens gets a prize, ” Jess continued, sharing a mischievous glance with Maya. That told me I didn’t even want to know what the prize was.

“Okay, so this is a drinking game for everyone else,” I said, feeling a little relieved. The only problem was that everyone was laughing.

“Oh, you don’t get off that easy, Little Gnome. You have to take one shot for every answer you get right and two for everyone you get wrong.” Oh, shit I was going to be drunk before the game was even over. “But before you freak out, there are only six questions because we all know you’re a light weight. Brian gave us answers to all these questions earlier in the week and I think you’ll be surprised with some of his answers. Ready?”

“I hope you ladies are ready to drink,” I chuckled nervously, hoping that I could prove them wrong. I had no idea what they betted, but I was aiming for a perfect score.

“Okay, here is question numero uno,” Jess said, picking up her sheet of paper. “What is Brian’s middle name?” Were they serious? If all the questions were this easy, I may get out of this game alive.

“Elwin, next,” I said and quickly downed a shot of rum. At least the rum was a little easier going down than the wiskey. You would think I could hold my liquor better after touring with Avenged Sevenfold but no, I was still a lightweight and my tolerance level might have something to do with weighing less than 120lbs.

“Easy now, that was just a warm up question,” Maya chuckled next to me. “And if you got that question right, grab your token, if not, drink up! And the next question is, ‘What is Brian’s favorite thing to do when he gets home from tour?’”

I smiled and leaned back in my chair, still wondering what was in the large bag in front of me. “Besides sleep for days?” I smirked. “He likes to go to the little diner on the boardwalk and have his favorite burger.”

Maya and Jess looked at each other with a raised brow, obviously shocked by my answer. Did they really think I wouldn’t get that one? If one thing was certain, I knew my soon to be husband. “Wow…I guess you do know him, drink up ladies,” Maya said, though she herself didn’t take a shot. It was nice to see my best friend had faith in me.

The next three questions were just as easy as the first ones, but the last two were not questions that I expected. “Alright, only two more questions left,” Jess giggled, obviously feeling the affects of the alcohol. Who knew how long these girls had been drinking before I got here. “What is Brian’s favorite sex position?”

My jaw dropped and my face instantly burned red as the room exploded with laughter. What kind of question was that and why would Brian answer that openly to my friends? They all knew that I liked to keep that kind of stuff private, but I guess at the bachelorette party everything was on the table.

“Oh come on, Ave don’t play shy,” Maya teased. “I’ve heard you scream Brain’s name in the backroom on the tour bus multiple times. Fess up, what does brown eyes like the best?” Would she just stop? I didn’t think my face could get anymore red.

I shook my head, hiding my face with my hands. I was mortified! “Oh come on, Ave. We’re all grown women here! Nothing to be ashamed of! Big guy is a fan of me on top,” Maya said and I covered my ears, singing “la la la, I cant hear you!”

“Well if you refuse to answer, then you have to take a line of shots. You’re choice, Ave,” Jess said and I sighed. I was already swaying slightly from sitting still and a line of shots would surely do me in. I guess I had to decide what the lesser of the two evils was.

“Fine…he likes…” I mumbled the answer inaudibly, earning protests from all my friends.

“What was that, we couldn’t hear you?!” Maya said, standing up and getting the room buzzing with noise. “Gates likes what?”

“He likes…cowgirl or doggie…” I blushed into my hands, my face feeling like a raging forest fire. The room around me exploded with cheers and laughter but to my surprise, Maya tsked me.

“Unfortunately, that is not the answer Mr. Gates gave!” Maya laughed, earning an ‘ooo!’ from the room.

“What?” I gapped, feeling humiliated and shocked. Oh, and my spinning head certainly wasn’t helping. When did it get so hot in here? “What the hell did he say then?!”

Maya laughed and threw back her shot, obviously betting that I wouldn’t go through with saying anything sexual out loud, even in my intoxicated state. “Mr. Gates said,” Maya cleared her throat and held up the paper, reading in a deep voice. “A gentlemen doesn’t talk about what happens in the bedroom with ladies,” she laughed as I stumbled over her to get the paper.

“It does not say that!” I said, flailing on her lap after the paper. Okay, so maybe I was a little more intoxicate than I thought. “Let me see!”

“No can do, Little Gnome,” Maya roared with laughter just as I fell onto the floor. “Now be a good girl and take your shots and get ready for the last question.”

“Oh god…” I should have know Maya would turn this game down this path and I fell right into her perverted trap, just like I always did. The last question couldn’t be any better. I might as well take the line of shots and forfeit right now.

“Okay, so here is the last question,” Jess chuckled, swaying back and forth to the music that was playing softly in the background. “How many songs have you inspired Mr. Gates to write?”

“How many songs?” I asked, my head and vision getting a little fuzzy now. “Just one that I know of…” I could tell right away from the look on both Maya and Jess’ faces that my answer was wrong. “Wait he wrote more songs about me?”

“Oh yeah…only a few are on the album but he told us he’s got a whole book of music inspired by you,” Maya replied as butterflies exploded in my stomach. “He said you’re his muse.”

“Really?” I breathed with a smile plastered across my drunken face. I couldn’t believe it – I had never really been anything to anyone before I met him. Well no one besides Maya. It was amazing how he could make me feel so special when he wasn’t even in the house. God I loved that man!

“Wait, what song did write about Ave on the album?” our college friend Tricia asked after downing a shot. “Dear God…its the song he wrote to propose to here with,” Maya replied, earning an ‘aww’ from both Bethany and Caroline. “But enough of the warm fuzzy stuff, do we have a winner?”

“That would be me!” Amelia, our head cashier at our shop said, doing a little dance. “What’s my prize?”

“You will have to wait until later for that, but for now, it’s time for our next game,” Maya shot her a wink before she moved the large pink bag in front of me. “Our next game is called, Naughty Hottie.” Oh god, this didn’t sound good at all and by the smirk on Maya’s face, I knew I was doomed. My only saving grace was the warm fuzzy feeling in my belly and my head, letting me know I was on the path to sever intoxication.

“So the ladies in the circle have all brought you a special gift and it’s your job to guess who bought you each item,” Maya smirked, sitting down next to me. Oh, that was never a good look. I nervously chewed my bottom lip, feeling like I was swaying back and forth from the alcohol. “If you guess right, we drink. If you guess wrong, you drink.”

Okay, so I only had to guess about eight people. That wasn’t too bad right? Well, that was until I pulled out the first item and my face turned bright red again. There in my hand was very thin piece of black lace lingerie. It looked like it would barely cover any part of my body. What was this, an embarrass Avery party?

Special gift?” I hissed, looking around the room at my laughing friends. My face was glowing brighter than ever before from both the alcohol and my embarrassment.

“Oh come, Ave, lighten up. We all know Brian will like you in a little bit of lingerie on your honeymoon,” Caroline, laughed. “What man wouldn’t?”

“Besides, if you think this is bad, you should see the penis cupcakes in the kitchen,” Jess giggled, now standing in the doorway of the kitchen with puffy eyes and a joint in her hand. When had she stepped out? And where was she hiding that Mary Jane all night? If I was going to get through the rest of this night I needed a good hit. Who would have thought that Avery Jacobson would openly smoke weed? Certainly not be but I had changed and grown up a lot over the past two and half years – just don’t tell my dad.

“Oh, god…” I muttered, shaking my head and then downing a drink. “What the hell…” There was no use fighting it and it was time for me to start enjoying myself instead of being embarrassed, right?

“So who do you think got you that little black number?” Jess asked, passing me the joint. Was she a mind reader like Jimmy? I didn’t know but I instantly felt all my anxiety float away with a hit or two.

“Hmm…” I mused, passing the blunt to Maya. Now this party was really getting started. “I’m going to guess this is from….Amelia?”

“Nope! Drink up!” she giggled and wasn’t it my luck that I got every one wrong except for Mayas? It was easy to know which piece she picked out because I had seen the drawing on her tablet at the press conference. Call it cheating but I didn’t care. I was finally feeling good and drunk and ready to party—all my cares gone.

An hour later, I found myself dancing in the middle of the living room on the coffee table with one of the pieces of lingerie overtop of my dress and sash. The room was spinning but I couldn’t stop moving, the beat of the bass feeling too good pounding through my drunk and high body. Man this was so much fun! “This is the best party ever!” I yelled, throwing my head back as someone snapped a picture. I’m sure I would regret all this the next morning when the hangover hit, but right now I was on cloud nine.

“To one of your last nights as a single lady!” Maya said before the whole room through back shots. It was only then that my mind wandered to those breathtaking brown eyes that stole my heart. What was Brian doing right now? Did he miss me? I know I sure missed him and could think of a number of really fun things I could do with him.

“Should-should we call the guys to see what they are up to?” I slurred as Maya pulled me down off the coffee table and I stumbled into her arms. “You know…you’re-you’re the best friend a girl could ask for right?” I said, hugging her close. She was drunk too but to me she still seemed so poised and graceful. How did she do it?

“No drunk dialing…I’ve got a better idea,” Maya giggled in my ear just as the doorbell rang. “Let’s get you in the seat of honor. Someone get the door!” I couldn’t help but laugh as Maya managed our way across the room and set me down in the big chair decked out with bachelorette signs. “Hey! This is my chair! Oh…I loved my chair…” I said petting the sign that said ‘bride-to-be’ on it. “Just as much as I love Brian…do-do you think he is having as much fun as we are?” I slurred.

“There is no way in hell,” Maya replied just as Caroline came stumbling back into the room with two police officers behind her. She looked both shocked and amused at the same time, which I totally didn’t understand in my drunken state. “Is there a problem, officers?”

Oh god, were we getting arrested? I didn’t know we were breaking any laws…unless they found out about the night we broke into that person’s house on our secret mission with Jimmy! Fuck! We better get out of here! “Yes, we’ve got to make an arrest,” the taller, very buff man said, staring me down. Shit busted! “We’ve got a very very bad bachelorette on our hands!” Wait? How did they know I was the bachelorette…oh right the damn sash.

And before I could even process what was going on, the officer ripped off his uniform top and started dancing provocatively around the room. My jaw dropped as his pants soon followed and his hips were coming closer and closer to me. “Wait a minute!” I said pointing at him and looking between him, his other dancing friend, and Maya. “This isn’t an officer of the law…he’s-he’s a stripper!” I breathed, just before he came over to me and started with a lap dance.

“Oh my god!” I laughed, blushing madly and covering my face. I could hear Maya laughing somewhere off in the distance, but I couldn’t see her. The only thing I could see was a very large bulge being gyrated in my face. And as much as I wanted too, I couldn’t look away from his perfectly sculpted abs or tight pants. It was like he was hypnotizing me with his junk that moved perfectly to the beat.

“This is the best party prize ever! Woo! Take it off!” I heard someone else yell as the man giving me a lap dance started to grind against me. Damn, this man was hot! Who knew I would enjoy a lap dance so much?

“WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?”

The music instantly turned off as the door slammed shut, stopping all movement in the room in an instant.

“GET THE FUCK OFF MY FIANCE!” I heard a very familiar voice yell before the stripper was ripped off of me and I was lifted into the air. I had no idea what was happening because everything was moving so quickly in my drunken state. All I knew was that I felt like I was floating through the air.

“GET OFF MY GIRLFRIEND YOU SON OF A BITCH AND GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!”

Matt’s POV

“This fucking sucks,” I sighed to myself, looking down at the blank cell phone screen. I knew it was going to be a while before Maya texted me to come home, seeing as her party only started an hour ago, but a guy could hope right?

I still didn’t like being kicked out of my own fucking house for a party where male strippers were involved. I mean, what the hell was Maya thinking? Sure it was Ave’s bachelorette party but what part about the little blonde screamed ‘please get me strippers’? That’s right! Fucking nothing! Strippers shouldn’t have even been considered for this party as far as I was concerned. And how did Maya know those guys? She seemed pretty friendly with them on the phone. I swear if I hear one thing about those guys touch my girlfriend or Avery, I would hunt them down and there would be hell to pay!

With a sigh, I set my phone down and took a large gulp of my beer. I needed to calm down and just trust Maya. She said nothing was going to happen and I had to believe her. We had been through hell in high water and one night with a stripper wasn’t going to change that, even if I was a little jealous.

“You can’t stop me!” Jimmy yelled, pulling me from my thoughts. He was chasing Johnny around the pool table with his arms above his head and Zack was doubled over with laughter. Apparently they were ahead of me in the drinking game. “I am the fucking Knife Master and you must bow down to me! Surrender slave!”

“What the fuck are you talking about? I don’t owe you shit, Rev. You’re just pissed cause I just beat your ass at pool!” Johnny laughed over his shoulder, dodging Jimmy’s advances by dive rolling across the floor. I had almost forgotten how crazy these two got when provoked with some alcohol and a game.

“You’re losing your touch, Rev. How could you let him do the old duck and roll!” Zack chuckled before Jimmy tackled short shit to the ground. I swear there was never a dull moment with these guys.

I chuckled as I watched them roll around the floor, swirling the last few sips of my beer around the bottom of the glass before looking back at my phone. I had texted Gates four times since I left and he still hadn’t answered me. Had he found a way to get Ave to back out of her party? He would be a fucking saint if he did!

Where the hell are you, Haner? You convince Ave to stay home away from the strippers? ~Shads

I typed, frowning at my phone and wondering what was taking him so long. Gates should have been here more than a half an hour ago. Did that bastard sneak into the party?

“What hell’s your problem tonight, Shads? You’ve been sitting in the corner pouting like a fucking pussy,” Zack said, pulling me from my thoughts. He looked at me with a raised brow before shaking his head a screaming Christ. Jimmy had the small bassist stretched across his back, pulling him in both directions like some medieval torture device. “Something going on?”

“Say uncle! Relent!” Jimmy screamed. “Succumb to the power of the knife!”

“There is no fucking—ahhh fuck—knife! What the hell is your problem? ARGH! FUCK!”

“Will you two shut the fuck up,” I snapped, running my hands over my face before looking up at the dimly lit ceiling. “Nothing is fucking going on except for me getting kicked out of my own house for Ave’s bachelorette party,” I grumbled, trying not to think about some guy grinding all over Maya.

Zack chuckled and crossed his arms over his chest as he leaned back on his bar stool. “What’s the big deal? Afraid the penis cake will make Maya realize how small you are?”

“Fuck you, Vee,” I said, flipping him the bird as Jimmy dropped Johnny. Suddenly an ear splitting screamed echoed through the bar and all I could see was Jimmy diving onto of Christ.

“Hey enough you two! You’re scaring away my customers!” the owner Johnny yelled from the bar. The pair scrambled to their feet before making their way over to the bar and ordering another round of drinks. Even from here I could see Jimmy punching Christ repeatedly in the arm. Whatever, short shit probably deserved whatever torture Jimbo was putting him through. He was always being an annoying little shit anyway.

“Those two dickwads are going to get us kicked out of here before I even get a buzz going,” Zack chuckled as the pair started to fuck around again. He was right, the owner was getting pissed and everyone knew to never shit where you ate.

“So…” Zack continued, staring me down with a smirk on his face.

“What?” I really wasn’t in the mood for his shit tonight.

“Just wondering where Gates is if Ave is at her bachelorette party,” he mused, knowing that his comment instantly pissed me off. “Did he get to stay after he dropped her off?” Wait a fucking minute, how did he know about that? “Don’t look so surprised, Maya needed help with preparations. Its not my fault Ave’s a good friend.”

So he knew about this all along? That fucking figured. The asshole always had an in. But the question remained: where was Gates? “Do you think he decided to stay for the stripper show?”

“Did someone say strippers?” Jimmy asked, suddenly plopping down on the barstool next to me. “Because if you’re interested, I know a place where we could—”

“Relax, Rev, we’ve got enough problems with strippers for one night.” Speak of the devil himself. Gates just snuck right in here, though he look just as pissed off about the whole thing as I did.

“Dude where the hell have you been?” I asked, pouring another glass of beer from the pitcher Christ just brought back to the table. “You were supposed to meet us here an hour ago. You get Ave to call it off?”

Gates sighed and took a long swig from the bottle of Jack on the tray. “Fuck no. You know how she is and her dedication to Maya. I’ve just been driving around for the past forty minutes trying to think of some excuse to get her out of there…” he frowned.

“Well I don’t see what the big deal is,” Zack said, earning a death glare from both Brain and I. “What? You know damn well that we will be at some strip club for Haner’s Bachelor party…which we need to plan by the way.”

“Don’t worry Vengy, the Knife Master’s got this,” Jimmy smirked as the table groaned. Oh fucking hell. It was never a good sign when Jimmy had a master plan. Was he going to take us on one of his crazy knife shit adventures? “I’m thinking lights, casinos….Vegas! FUCKING VEGAS!!”

Okay so his idea wasn’t as crazy as I thought it would be. Hell, I was perfectly fine with a trip to Vegas, though when were we going to fit that in on tour? “How’s that going to work on tour?”

“Shh…” Jimmy said, looking at me with wide eyes as he pressed his finger against my lips. “Don’t say it too loudly! They might hear you?”

“Who?” I asked, looking between the guys in confusion. Brian, Zack, and Johnny just shrugged as Jimmy dove to the floor again. What the hell was this guy on tonight? “Just keep it quite…or they’ll be onto us.”

I shook my head and stood up. “Well, I don’t know what the hell that’s about, but I’m going to go get a round of Patron.” I needed something to pull my thoughts away from the girl’s party because I knew if I didn’t I would just get pissed off and storm over there. And the last thing I needed was to get on Maya’s shit list only days before we left for tour.

“Just get the bottle!” Gates called from behind me and I waved a hand. This fucking sucked on all accounts. Don’t get me wrong, I loved my friends but not when some guy was going to gyrating on my girl’s lap. Fuck no!

“A bottle of Patron,” I grumbled at the bartender, my fist clenched as I tried to redirect my thoughts. Come on, Sanders, get your shit together. There is nothing going on and Maya is just playing girly drinking games.

“Careful this shit will kill you,” the little brunette said as she passed the bottle across the bar. I smirked and laid a few bills on the counter – she didn’t know the half of it.

As I walked back to the table, I couldn’t shake the feeling that someone was watching me. Hell, I’d felt like that since I walked into Johnny’s and I didn’t really understand why. Was I just being paranoid?

I quickly glanced around the bar and instantly made eye contact with a guy sitting at the end of the bar. It wasn’t the first time I’d seen him looking our way but I figured he was a fan. I shook my head and went back to my friends who were already working on the first round of the shot challenge.

An hour later, I felt my head spinning as I swallowed my last shot of Patron. The clear alcohol burned all the way down and I knew if I had any more that I wouldn’t make it home when Maya finally texted me. Speaking of that beautiful creature, had she messaged me?

“Fucking hell…” I groaned, earning a look from Gates and Vengeance who were talking to my left. God fucking knows where the other two idiots disappeared to. They were grown ass men and I wasn’t about to play babysitter. “You get anything from Ave?”

“Not a thing,” Gates sighed as Zack rolled his eyes.

“You two are so fucking pussy whipped its not even funny,” he chuckled. “You think you could handle your girls having fun…but apparently you’re just worried that Ave and M wont look at your dicks the same after getting a look at a big cock.”

“Shut the fuck up, Vee,” Brian said as I raised my middle finger at him for the second time in the night. “I would rather my fiancé wasn’t ogling some other guys dick, that’s all.”

“Oh please, they stuff that shit anyway,” Zack continued. “But can you image the tips those guys are getting down their thongs? Hopefully they don’t stuff those g-strings too full that the goods pop out…”

“Baker,” I growled, clenching my fist as my temper and jealousy began to rise. “Shut. The. Fuck. Up.”

“And so what if he grabs Ave by the hair and basically face fucks her? That would be any bachelorette’s dream, right? Or at least that’s what Maya said…I tried to talk her out of it…but what do I know.” Wait? Maya said that? I didn’t fucking believe it for a second! Baker was just trying to get a rise out of us!

“Whoa check this out!” Jimmy said, flying back into the room with his phone. “My queen just posted this picture from the party!”

“Let me see that!” Gates and I said at the same time, ripping Jimmy’s phone away. There instagram was a picture of Jess posed with one of the other girls, and in the background you could see a man taking off his shirt right in front of Maya and Avery. That was the final straw!

“Oh no fucking way!” I growled instantly seeing red. My blood was pumping and I couldn’t stop myself. I had to put an end to this! No man was going to dry hump my girlfriend or her best friend. No fucking way!

“When was that posted?” Gates raged, his jaw dangerously locked. He looked ready to murder someone.

“About a minute ago, why?”

With one glance at Gates, I knew we were both thinking the same thing. There was no way we were going to let that party continue—not with male strippers present. We quickly turned and headed for the door.

“Where the hell are you going? Take me with you!” Jimmy cried, following us out the door and to the car. It was funny how rage instantly sobered me up.

“Are you sure this is a good idea? Ave and Maya are going to fucking kill you!” Zack called behind us, he too climbing into the back of the car. Must be Johnny was still passed out under the table.

“And let that bastard, touch my fiancé like that? I don’t fucking think so!” Gates spat as we pulled out of the parking lot. Oh, there was going to be hell to pay one-way or another!

Ten minutes later, Brian and I pushed our way into the house and what I saw instantly made my blood boil. Right there before my eyes were Maya and Avery in the middle of a very up close and personal lap dance. Oh I didn’t fucking think so! I quickly reached up and ripped the plug for the ihome stereo out of the wall, abruptly stopping the music.

“WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?” Gates and I bellowed in unison, crossing the living room in four long strides.

“GET OFF MY GIRLFRIEND YOU SON OF A BITCH AND GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!” I yelled, the same time that Gates growled, “GET THE FUCK OFF MY FIANCE!”

With one swift motion I grabbed the stripper off of Maya by the hair and shoved him across the room. The Fabio-like man looked up at me in bewilderment as he scrambled to his feet, though I was more concerned with the pair of angry brown eyes looking back at me.

“Matt? What the hell are you doing here?” Maya asked, shaking her head at me and looking beyond pissed.

“What the hell does it look like?” I snapped. “You think I could just sit at Johnny’s when there are pictures of this fuckhead all over you on social media?” I growled before turning back to the stripper. “And I want you out of my house in the next five minutes or else I will beat the living piss out of you! Do you understand that?” I got right up in the guy’s face and narrowed my eyes. He had to know that I meant business and wasn’t playing any games.

“Mathew!” Maya yelled, punching me in the arm as the two men quickly grabbed their clothes and headed out the door. “What the hell is wrong with you?”

“What the hell is wrong with me? Those pieces of shit were treating you like a fucking pole! How dare they touch you like that!” I was so pissed off that the only thing I could feel was the pound of my blood coursing through my veins. “You are mine and no one else has the right to touch you like that!” I continued, not caring that all the girls’ friends were slowly leaving the room.

“They weren’t touching me, Matt!” Maya looked more pissed and hurt than I had seen her in a long time. “They were just dancing! We were just having a good time and you fucking ruined it! You ruined Ave’s party!” Maya glanced around the room as angry tears started to pool in her eye. “I can fucking believe you could be so selfish! You couldn’t even let us have this one night!”

“What else was I supposed to do?” I asked, following after her as she made her way toward the bathroom. “You sure as hell wouldn’t have let another girl do that shit to me!”

“What shit? What exactly were we doing?” Maya crossed her arms in front of her chest and glared at me as I opened and closed my mouth. Shit, had I jumped to conclusions too quickly? I mean, I saw the guy dancing next to her but was he really touching her like I thought? He had to have been, I was sure of it.

“That’s fucking right! Nothing! And you better think of a way to apologize to Ave because I bet she is devastated right now!” and with that she slammed the bedroom door in my face, leaving me standing in the hallway feeling like the worlds biggest jerk.
