Wedlocked

Matt's Pov
I've been trying to call Jimmy since last night but his phone is unreachable. And that means either he or we all are in big trouble. "He's not picking up." I said to Val. "I'm having a bad feeling, Matt." Val said worried. I called him again but no answer.

"Get ready, we're going to Jimmy's." Val said and went upstairs. Chelle had called Val this morning unexpectedly and wanted to meet us. She even told us about her day with Jimmy. Val said Chelle sounded really off and she thinks Chelle might have changed her mind about leaving.

"Matt, can you drive faster." Val said impatiently once we were on the road. "Babe, I just started the car now." I said and drove faster. "I'm not gonna spare Jimmy if I see he's done some fucked up shit." I grumbled. "Don't worry, Matt." Val said reassuringly. Ten minutes later, we were in front of Jimmy's house which was apparently, locked. "Jimmy, open the door!" I bellowed, pounding my fists on the door.

"Did he go to Brian's by any chance?" Val asked and I looked at her. "It's possible." I said and got in the car. I drove us to Brian's house and rang the doorbell. But nobody answered. "Don't you have a spare key to his house?" Val asked me and I went to my car quickly. I found the key inside the dashboard and hurried over to the house.

As I was trying to open the lock, Val's phone rang and she said it was Michelle calling. "Put it on speaker." I said and she did so. "Hey." Val said and we heard Michelle's voice next. "Can you and Matt come over tonight? We gotta talk." she said. "Are you kidding?" Val asked and I just gaped at the phone. "I'm serious. See you tonight." Chelle said and hung up. "Is she okay?" I asked and Val lookes at me. "I don't know. I thought she doesn't wanna see us." I said shocked. "She sounded regretful, didn't she?" Val looked at me hopefully and I nodded my head.

"Did she change her mind?" Val says and I shake my head. "But how?" I say. "We'll ask her about it later. Now let's see whether Jimmy's with Brian or not." Val said. As we entered the house, we got a strong smell of beers. No shit they were drinking. "Matt, they're in the living room." I heard Val say and went inside. Jimmy was passed out on the floor, snoring lightly. And Brian was sleeping on the couch with his hand dangling.

"Jimmy, wake up." Val nudged him slowly and he mumbled something. "Jimmy. get up." I tried not to sound too loud. But the guy seemed to be in comatose. "Get up, James!" I bellowed and Jimmy cracked open his eyes. "I'll have a massive internal failure if you scream like that, Sanders." he mumbled. "Jimmy, we're in a serious issue and you were drinking beers with Brian since last night!" I scolded.

"Brian, wake up." Val said and Brian got up. "Sober up you two, now!" I said before they could say anything else. Both of them got up and went upstairs. "I'll go amd make something for them." Val said and disappeared inside. I cannot believe it. How could Jimmy do this? How could he get wasted with Brian at this point?!

"Morning, Matt." Jimmy said coming downstairs. How the hell can he stay so relaxed? Michelle's leaving in 48 hours! "What is wrong with you, James? You know how the situation is and you still got drunk, that too with Brian?!" I hissed. "I know how the situation is, Matt. Everything is under control." he said calmly. "What does that mean?!" I growled.

"It means that Chelle is not leaving." Jimmy said and I just gaped at him.

"What?!" I heard Val's voice and seconds later, she joined us."Look, I made her realize that Brian means everything to her. She was a little stunned at first when this realization hit her, but she's okay now I'm sure." Jimmy said. He was right, but what did he do?

"What did you do to her?!" Val asked Jimmy in panic. "Me?! What would I do to Chelle?! I mean, what can I do to her?!" Jimmy asked surprised.

"God, my head hurts too much." We heard Brian's voice and ended the conversation we were having. "Brian, I made coffee. Do you want some?" Val asked him. "Sure, thanks Val. You're the best." Brian said shooting a smile at her. "So, what brings you here now?" he asked me as Val went to the kitchen. "I tried to call Jimmy but he wasn't picking up. So figured out he'd be here." I said.

"Val, give Brian something to eat. Meanwhile, Jimmy and I can take a walk outside." I said loud enough for Val to hear from the kitchen and looked at our drummer, who had a terrified look on his face. "I'll come as well." Brian said and I shook my head. "You gotta eat, Brian. Sunday's not far away." I said and Brian grinned.

"You sound like my dad." he says chuckling. "Where is Papa Gates anyways? Haven't seen him lately." Jimmy said putting up a serious expression. Oh no, you're so not getting away with that look. "He's busy with some work, I guess." Brian said with a shrug. "Let's go, Jimmy." I said and pulled him outside. "Do we really have to take a walk now, Matty?!" Jimmy cried.

"First, you tell me what did you do to Michelle!" I said. "I did nothing!" Jimmy said putting up his hands in defense. "James." I said strictly and he shut his eyes tightly. "I took her to a sorceress." he mumbled. "You did what?!" I growled balling my fists. "Dude, hear me out! Please!" Jimmy said, throwing himself on the ground. "Get up, you!" I said, anger boiling inside my head.

"I did it because of Brian! I don't want him to get hurt, ever!" he said and stood up. Damn, I can't blame him now. All he wanted was Brian to be happy. And he did whatever he could. "You do realize what you did, right? I mean, you took Michelle to a sorcerer." I say. "No, I took her to a sorceress." Jimmy says, pointing out my mistake.

"Fine! A sorceress. But why'd you do that?" I asked utterly surprised. "I just....I just thought Chelle would change her mind and stay back with us." Jimmy said. "Jimmy, she will stay back with. For us and for Brian." I say with a reassuring smile.

Valary's Pov
I quickly make a sandwich and put it in front of Brian. "Here you go." I say and sit down in front of him. "Thanks, Val." he says and starts eating. "Ah, don't mention it." I say with a smile. "Val, I....um...." Brian says and I look at him. "Do you need something?" I say and stand up. "No-no, just sit down." he said quickly, motioning at the chair. I sit back and look at him. "I hope we're okay. Are we?" he asks and I look at him questioningly.

"I'm talking about the....um..." Brian trails off and looks at his plate. Okay, I get what he's trying to say. "The 'beach blunder'?" I said and he looks at me amused. "I guess you can say that. 'Beach Blunder'." he said. "Don't worry. I already erased that from my mind." I said honestly. "That's great. So, have you talked to Chelle?" he asked. "Yeah, we talked this morning." I said, and for a change, I wasn't even lying.

"How is she?" Brian asks. "Fine, probably." I said. "I can't wait for Sunday to arrive. This entire week has been the longest week of my life. I can't wait to see Chelle." Brian said.

"You know, Val. This whole month, I kinda avoided Chelle thinking that I'll mess up everything. The same time I thought I had to see her or I won't survive. But somehow I managed not to run to her and hold her tightly forever. I guess this process of not seeing each other for so long made me fall in love with her again." Brian said with this spark in his eyes and a beautiful smile playing on his lips.

"I'm glad you know what you want, Brian." I said with a smile. "I'm glad too. During this month, I realized that I'm so not complete without Michelle by my side. I can't imagine myself anywhere without her." he said.

Sometimes, Brian could be an ass and throw hundreds of tantrums at once. But I'm happy that he actually realizes the value of the people in his life. I really can't wait to make him my brother in law. Jimmy and Matt came back soon and both of them seemed in a good mood. Matt and I went to my dad's house after a few hours as Chelle had told us.

"Hey Mom, where's Chelle?" I greeted my mom as she opened the door. "In the living room. How are you, Matt?" she asked. "We're good." Matt said showing a dimpled smile. Mom went upstairs while Matt and I went to see Chelle. She was in the living room, on the couch wearing a grey sweat shirt and black shorts.

"Hey." I said and she looked at us with a smile. "Hey." she got up and hugged both Matt and I. We sat down and Matt started talking. "You sounded different over the phone. Is everything okay?" he asked. "Well, this whole week has been really hectic for me. With Paris and of course, Brian." she said. "Chelle, Brian's a great guy and we all know that." Matt said.

"Matt, I know he's a great guy. And I really want him to be happy. And I want you gus to be happy as well. That's why I've decided that...." she trailed off and my heart started beating faster. What has she decided?

"I've decided that I'm not leaving on Sunday." Chelle said and I gaped at her. "This ain't a joke, right?" I heard Matt say and looked at Chelle carefully. She chuckled lightly and said, "I'm not joking, Matt. I promise you I won't leave you all on Sunday. So, no worries." Chelle said with a smile.

I stood up silently, walked over to her and gave her a big hug. "I'm so happy, Michelle. I'm glad you realized sooner." I said as she hugged me back. "Matt, after you all tried your best to make me stay back, I realized that I just cannot leave you guys on Sunday." she said clutching at my hand. "I'm glad you made the correct choice, Chelle." Matt said.

"Can Val stay here tonight?" she asked Matt and I looked at her. "Yeah, sure." Matt said and Chelle hugged me again. "I've got loads to tell you!" she said excitedly. "I'm looking forward to it." I said with a smile. God, thank you so much for fixing up everything.

But here you go, another chapter! So, Michelle' not leaving them all on Sunday.
