Where Do We Go From Here ?

Matt and Val were hiding but I just couldn't put my finger on it maybe they wanted to adopt a dog or something the rest of us were heading back home this tour was finally over and boy was I happy I need a break well most of us do Michelle and Dan were gone the whole day which was strange but it was none of my concern... Did I still love her ? I thought to myself. No I'm engaged for fucks sake what Michelle does with Dan is none of my business my son and daughter were the only two people that really wanted my attention and with Claire's seventh birthday coming up in three days I need to find her a birthday present I wouldn't receive the dad of the year award but it was worth a shot.

Michelle and Dan were hand in hand when they returned two hours later to be honest I was a little bit jealous of their love now I won't talk down on Emma but she can be a bit annoying when it comes to parenting Abel but I was already an expert at this at I think Michelle looked over at me with an half smiled and turned back to Dan she is really happy with him... But what will Claire think ? I'm not the one he needs approval from it's her. She's pretty observant for an almost seven year old she gets that from me. I laughed at the thought. Michelle walked up to me and hugged me and thanked me for not walking out on her she pulled me aside. I knew what she was going to say next.

"Brian I think we should meet up and talk about Claire's party tomorrow afternoon." She said.

"Okay how does lunch sound ?" I asked.

"That sounds good what's that on your left finger ?" I asked curiously.

"Oh nobody told you ?" Michelle scratched her head.

"No." I replied harshly.

"Well Dan and I are getting married in a week." Michelle smiled.

"Doesn't that seem a little rushed ?" I asked taking a drag of my lit cigarette.

"Look if you don't have anything nice to say please stay out of it." Michelle walked over in Brandon and Ashley's direction without looking at me I pissed her off royally and I need to get along with her for the sake of Claire sure we wouldn't be the best of friends but Michelle had found love I should be happy for her instead of being a jackass.

--- TWO DAYS LATER---
I heard a loud banging at my door I rolled off of the couch and rushed to answer the door whoever this was could wait until Jerry Springer but it sounded important so I rushed to answer the door it there were two cops standing at my door with a restraining order... Shit. I thought to myself. "What can I do for you officers today ?" I asked. trying to hide the gun I had hidden behind my back for a while.

"Are you Brian Elwin Haner Jr ?" the first officer asked.

"Yes what is this about ?" I asked.

"You have been served now you can fight this restraining order or comply with the demands met by the person." The second officer chimed in.

"Who would have a restraining order against me ?" I asked.

"That person doesn't want to give out a name at the moment." The second officer replied.

"Have a great afternoon Mr. Haner." The officers walked away without an explanation. This whole thing had left me speechless... "What can I do now ?" I thought to myself.

I didn't want to fight this in court this would become a shitstorm for the media I needed to talk to this mystery person directly before pursing any further action but I had a good idea who this was... If this person wants a war then let the war begin.
