Where Do We Go From Here ?

Brian had texted me earlier I need to meet him at Matt's house for a "secret meeting." I had no idea what the "secret meeting." was about but it must be something serious if it's a secret I grabbed my keys and phone and headed for the front door I walked out to my car and kissed Ashley's cheek before getting into my car and heading for Matt's house there has to be a reasonable explanation for this I just wanted to get to the bottom of this.

As I pulled into Matt's driveway, I saw that everyone had shown up.. Is this a senior citizens meeting? I thought to myself. I had turned my car engine off and headed up the front door of Matt's house I walked inside and placed my keys and jacket on the table before taking a seat between Michelle and Dan I looked around the room nobody said a word before Matt broke the silence by washing his hands at the kitchen sink and returning to dead silence.

"Hey Val can you come downstairs we need to talk." Matt was clearly upset and fuming all at the same time Val must have really done something to have made Matt angry I knew nothing about what happened after the party but this should give us all some insight into what happened I tapped my leg in anticipation as Val walked downstairs she had guilt written all over pretty face.

"What's going on here?" Val asked crossing her arms.

"We all here because we are all concerned about you." Matt replied.

"I haven't done anything wrong." Val said.

"You clearly have no idea what I've witnessed." Brian chimed in.

"Shut up Brian." Val scoffed

Brian sat down on the couch with a smirk spreading across his lips he knew Val was going to lie to everyone here so he went back to biting his fingernails waiting for the fireworks to start.

"What do you have say for yourself ?" Matt said turning his attention back to a guilty Val who was about to butter up her husband with an excuse.


"I've made a mistake when I kissed Marc after the party and it won't happen again." Val replied

Everyone sat there in complete shock to what Val has just admitted in front of everyone she knew it had to come out sooner or later thanks to Brian and his huge mouth now everyone has questions of their own they wanted answered including me I felt hands get sweaty from what just happened I couldn't get out the living room fast enough to wrap my brain around Val and Marc attacking each other with lust if I were in that same situation I'd be livid beyond recognition.

Later That Evening
I had come home to dinner already sitting on table and a bottle of champagne sitting in the ice bucket but Ashley was nowhere in sight as I entered the house "Ashley!" I called out I stood there for 5 minutes before Emma appeared in the doorway I couldn't believe she was here in my presence "Um Emma where's Ashley ?" I asked Emma had a devilish grin spread across the her face. "I'm going to ask you one more time." I said harshly.

Emma pulled out a chair and sat down at the table she waited for me to sit next to her but I just stood there wanting answers... Why was she acting so strange? I thought to myself. She placed the plate in front of me I pushed the plate across the table hearing it shatter as it hit the floor. I got from the table and ran into the bathroom to splash some water on my face I knew how to deal with this. If she wants to play this game I can play it so much better.

I came back to the table after washing up in the bathroom and taking a seat across from her I would comply with her game if she complies with my demands she walked over to me she knew I was done for if I gave into her little game.

"Dinner looks great" I smiled.

"Thank you" Emma replied

"Why are even here ?" I asked

"I was just in the neighborhood and I thoiught I'd make you dinner tonight" Emma replied

"Where's Ashley ?" I asked

"She's over at Matt and Val's to pitch an idea for the boutique she's opening with Val" Emma said.

This night will be hell if I don't have anything clever to seduce her.

Here's an update I had to re write this chapter twice because of connection problems but this chapter is dedicated to @Daphne G and today marks 6 years without Jimmy we Deathbats love you angel.
