Chapter two
Second day was pretty much the same as the other only difference was that I got to know the girl in Art class and that Cam guy was there today. The girls name was Michelle Dibenedetto (told me to call her Chelle), with dark long hair and neon blue hair. Chelle had a similar taste in style, but had more color in it. She told me she had a twin sister that look pretty much the same as her, but she was all skater boy style. Chelle told my her name, but I completely forgot, if you haven't noticed, I'm shit with names. She did invite me over to her place after school, and when I told Mum she told me I had to go. So here I am, in a naugboure hood that I don't know, standing outside what I only hope is Chelle's place. Taking a deep breath I knock on the cream white door. Not two seconds pass when the door is reaped open, showing a very happy Chelle jumping up and down like Sirius Jr dose when I come home every day. Grabbing my hand, she pulls me in the house. It was a cute, descent size house for a family and had family photos all along the walls, by the looks of the photos she only had one older brother and her twin sister. I always wondered what it'd be like to have siblings. My train of thought was cut with Chelle dragging my into the kitchen yelling Mum. When we arrived, we were greeted by a lady that looked like a youger version of Martha Stewart. She smiled sweetly at me when Chelle introduced me.
'Nyx, what a unusual name, it suits you though' She states while shacking my hand.
'Thanks, ar..' I replied not hearing her name before.
'Mary, but you can call me Mamma if you like, everyone does.' Mary says with a kind smile.
'Thanks, Mary.' I node back, just as the back door is flung open, reviling a very tall guy with even taller hair, wearing what looked like a ugly yellow and orange jump suit, and the biggest smile on the planet. Glasses on, and the most crystal blue eyes I've seen, and I know some movie starts, but they were all dull compared to his eyes. Chelle let go of my hand and jumped into his spread arms screaming 'Piggy Jimmy!'
'Smelly Chelle!' He screamed back. Twirling her around a full circle, then putting her down, walking over to Mary and giving her a sloppy kiss on the cheek, 'Hello Mamma!'
Hello Jimmy, have you meet Nyx here?' Mary ranked, as "Jimmy" looked over to me, looking me up and down, shock he head no and walked over to me.
'Hey there cutie, I'm Jimmy, don't call me James unless I've done something bad, or your my Gran, which you not because... well your hot and Gran isn't', after he finished his ramble I looked over to Chelle with a "Is this guy for real look", and she just shock her head with a smirk.
'Nyx, new here, nice to meet you', I replied holding out my hand, which he shacked like so hard and fast I thought my arm was going to fly off.
'You too, anyway', looking over to Chelle, 'I came over to see if you wanted to go to the skate park, everyone's there, Nyx here can come to', looking back at me with a wink, 'I'm mean if you want to...'
'Shore, we'd love to hey Nyx?' Chelle relied for us. I just shrugged my shoulders and next thing I know I'm being pulled out of the house by Jimmy closely followed by Chelle, Mary yelling out about the curfew time. Which in Chelle and Jimmy responded, 'Yes, we know Mamma'.
I followed them as they know this area and I didn't. The two talking about random shitfor awhile, me staying quite. Jimmy turned to me and asked me were I was from, and I told him Hollywood.
'Oh, cool, so you some actor or something?' He asked with a slight giggle.
'Na, just my parents' I replied, with slight dread in my voice. Thinking I was joking he replied,'No way! Same! Its hard being the son of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt!'
'Tell them I said hi for me', I scoffed.
'Will do' he laughed back, little did he know, I know them pretty well. Changing the subject Jimmy stated that he loved this skate park the most out the whole of them.
'Ya, why's that piggy?' asked Chelle.
'It's in the middle for everyone, like you, Val and Zacky live 5 min walk away, I and Cam live 5 min away the opposite discretion, Matt 1 and 2 and Brian live 5 min walk away in between us. Perfect meeting point! Hey were do you live Nyx?' Oh great.
'Um I don't remember, just moved remember' I end with a little giggle.
'But not around here?' Jimmy keep digging.
'Na, near the beach though'.
'Holy shit, your parents must be loaded!' Jimmy yelled.
'Jimmy!' Chelle scuffed him.
'What they must be, not that it matters, your part of the rebel gang now, Nyx, hope you know that' Jimmy says as he puts his arm around my shoulder. Normally I would shug it off, but I felt that he was the type of person that "What you see, is what you get" and he made me feel like I could trust him. So I left it there. By now we had arrived at the skate park, Jimmy running to the "rebel gang". I heard 'Oh new girl', looking at the person I saw someonethat looked just like Chelle. Okay not exactly, different nose, hair color, cloths style and was a little shorter. "That must be her twin", I thought, then thought, "No sit Sherlock!".
'Hey, I'm Val, Chelles twin, the better one', Val introduced her self with a little laugh.
'Ya, you wish', Chelle laughed back. 'I guess I should introduce eveyone, well you've meet Val, that's Brian, Zacky, Matt Wendt, and Cam which I think you've meet. Everyone this is Nyx, she's new to our school, Jimmy's already adopted her so she has to be your friend, because we all know who Jimmy can get when he loses his toys'. Chelle end with a giggle, when I started to look at her Jimmy and Chelle started to full out laugh.
'Oh, don't worry, we are all his entertainment, so we are all in the same boat' Zacky (I think) said.
'Ya that makes me feel Way better' I replied with an eye roll, but show them I'm not angry I smile.
Found out your name anyway' Cam stated then poked his tough out at me. I was about to say something back when Jimmy screamed 'BABY YOUR HERE!' and ran off. I turn around to see who he's talking to find Jimmy getting a piggy back for a guy I've never seen before. As they get closer I notice that he has the cutest smile I've ever seen, and well built. Jimmy jumps off his back and kisses him on the cheek, a part of me dies as I figure out that they are dating.
'Matt, I want to introduce you to this cute little number Nyx, she's new and part of the rebel gang now, Nyx this is Matt the muscle of the group (Matt rolled is eyes), and is my oldest friend'.
'Nice to meet you, Nyx is it?' Matt asks as he holds out his hand. I take it while shaking my head yes. 'Awesome, parents are fans of Greek mythology?' Matt slightly smirking.
'Ya, my dad, and my mum allowed it as soon as she meet me, saying it was a perfect fit'.
'I'll say' Matt whispered, with a wink and I slightly melted. Cam clearing his throat brought us back to reality, I was still holding Matt's hand. I let go straight away and went to set next to Chelle and Val. As I sat down I look over to Matt and he was glaring daggers at Cam, then he looked straight at me and smiled. I sent a small one back and turn to the twins.
'So how you liking Huntington Beach?' Val asked, and us girl got to know each other until curfew came and Mum picked me up. I just hope they what to get to know me, for me, because people who were crazy fans of Dad's already knew I was his kid. I guess I'll know in time.
