Stuck with you

Charming your way into a plane

Sara’s POV
“I will quickly use the restroom, Sara you coming with me?”Amy looked at me expectantly, motioning her head to the restroom, not leaving any room for me to decline. I shot Matt and Brian another look, they seemed to be relieved that we would leave the table for a minute. They probably had some things to discuss too.

The second Amy dragged me into the ladies room we both started talking at the same time
“Do you fucking think this is funny?”
“Did you see the guy I hooked up with last night?”
“You’ve done some pretty shitty pranks on me, but this must be the worst yet”
“He is so fucking hot! And so…. Different!”
“How did you do it?”
“I can’t believe I ended up in his room, I never did anything like that! And with a man like him!”
“With the honeymoons suite, the ring, the garter?”
“It was a shame I couldn’t seduce him again this morning, I was sure he would go for my offer”
“Damn, it Sara! The garter! I have never been more embarrassed in my life!”
“And you know what? I wasn’t even embarrassed, just a little disappointed, would have liked to do him again and fucking remember it”
“Were his friends in it too? He told me he had the wildest friends”
“Wow! And then you! With his friend! Brian is very, very hot too! Seems like great company for the night”
“And the lady at the reception! She was already saying Mrs. Haner to me! How much did you pay her for that?”
“Please don’t tell me this is all some kind of joke, I would be so disappointed, Ames !“
“Fucking tell me now this is all a joke! Sara!”

We were both out of breath at the number of words we both tried to get out in the small amount of time, and for a second we just stared at each other, letting the other one’s words really get through.

“Did you find a bouquet too?” I smirked at Amy. She snapped her head at me.
“This is no fucking joke Sara!” Her tone was angry and I knew she was close to erupting. So I chose my next words more carefully, but she needed to explain what was going on, because I didn’t get a thing she was saying “What do you mean with honeymoon suite, and garter? Like marriage trinkets?” I asked her, my eyes growing wider with the word, the gravity of things finally getting through to me.

Sara sighed deeply and for a moment stared into my eyes again, as if she was searching for something. When she seemed to have found what she was looking for, she took a deep breath and diverted her eyes to the ground and fumbled with her hands. Now she really got me worried.
“Amy?”
“You really don’t know huh?” Amy looked at me, shaking her head.
“Of course I don’t, you know the kind of blackouts I have when I get drunk.. I didn’t even remember Matt’s name. I called him Marc” I giggled.
Sara shot her head at me and shook it with a slight smile “Oh honey, he could never be a Marc. Poor him” I raised my brows at her, but Amy completely ignored my gesture.

We sat down on a little bench next to the ladies room and Amy started to talk.
“I woke up in a hotel room, the bathroom even bigger than the room we booked! With that man… Brian next to me… and this” she showed me her left hand, a ring with a huge rock on her finger.
I grabbed her hand “Is that… Like… Is that… really…?”
Amy took off the ring and put it in my hand. I took a closer look at it, it was beautiful, the rock was shining brightly. Then my gaze was drawn to something engraved on the inside.

“Amy…” I started and took a closer look.

“This just begun, foREVer, Brian + Amy” I read out loud, watching my friend’s face get more and more pale “OH MY GOD! You did get married!”
“This is just piling up on all these other little hints, pointing to this all being as real as a heart attack, but I’m still kinda hoping Brian’s friends pulled a joke on him and I’m collateral damage” Amy replied quietly.

I thought about that for a bit, and even though I couldn’t remember much, I was pretty sure this was real. Everything she already told me about, the ring… Holy fuck… the ring, that didn’t seem like a fake. I saw the look on my best friend’s face though, and I felt her worry.
“I can’t believe you got married without me! I would have loved to go shopping with you for a wedding dress!” I tried to make her smile by making it a joke again, but the angry glare she shot me was proof enough that this wasn’t the time for jokes at all. Deep down I did know that, but you can’t blame a girl for trying.

“Please tell me you remember something Sara, please”
“You know I would love to help you stop the worries, but you know how I get” I carefully punched her shoulder “By the way! You promised me not to let me drink that much!”

A smile came over Amy’s face, like she was happy to find the distraction for a bit.
“Yeah, well… can we talk about how you being drunk off your ass landed you that … well … fine man” she was smiling widely now.
“Hey! Don’t even think about it, you have your own hottie… seriously… how was he?”
“SARA! FOCUS!”
“You don’t remember do you?” she shook her head with a hint of regret on her face. I joined her in that feeling “well, neither do I…”.

“This is pretty messed up” Amy said, while looking at me with a sad face. I put my arm around her and hugged her close.
“You know what, we better head back to those guys, they seem nice, maybe we can figure this out together, and we can be at a bar tonight, not getting drunk of course, laughing our asses of at this stupid thing. And after that we will say goodbye and all will be good” I tried, offering some comfort.

I got up and held out my hand to my best friend. I might not remember what happened, but I did know how to take care of my friend. We needed to figure this out and our best shot were the two, very hot ,if I may add, men, that were waiting for us at the breakfast table. Speaking about breakfast, I could totally use something to eat, my stomach was begging for food.

Before I grabbed Amy’s hand, I noticed I was still holding on to the ring.
“Do you want me to hold on to this?” I asked her, holding it up, but to my surprise she took it from me. I claim to know my best friend by heart, so imagine my surprise when she thoughtlessly slipped it back right on her wedding ring finger. Never saw that one coming.

This probably wasn’t the time to point that out to her, was it?

We headed back to the table, where we seemed to have interrupted the men in some kind of heavy discussion. By the exchanged looks of the two I was guess they were dealing with the same questions Amy and me had discussed.

Bit by bit we at least found out how we ended up with the four of us. Amy was completely inside her own brain while we were listening to the men put us meeting each other, together, with a few additions from her. Me on the other hand… I could only piece together what the others told me, so I took the time to take the men in.
I was wondering if Brian would look as good without his clothes on, I mean, it all seemed to point to him marrying my best friend last night, but I was allowed to look right? And then Matt… I would love to have some alone time with him, remembering this time.

Before I could even explore my thoughts a little further we were already back at the reception, getting a shit load of new information. Information Amy couldn’t really handle. I saw her fade out the minute Brian handed her the marriage certificate
“Amy Haner” she whispered “I got married and I don’t even remember it” I put my arm around her shoulder and whispered comforting words in her ear, trying not to let the guys hear it. My best friend was having a nervous breakdown and they didn’t need to be part of it.

Amy looked up and I saw Brian look at her. Their eyes locked and I saw both of them being lost in confusion. I felt bad for them, both of them. It shouldn’t be allowed to get married when you are drunk, Brian and Amy probably weren’t the first that had this happen. I looked at Matt, trying to signal him to bring a solution of some kind.

He seemed to have gotten my silent request and moved over to Brian. He clapped his shoulder and got him out of the staring contest with Amy.
“Let me call Larry, he’ll know what to do. He probably won’t have any problem coming over here and everything will be solved by dinner. In the meantime you go and cancel that trip to the Bahamas”

“You have a lawyer on speeddial?!” I laughed, what kind of guys were these two?
Matt and Brian exchange a look and then both of them blushed “Larry is not our lawyer really” I raised my brows “It’s kinda long story to explain” Matt muttered.

“Bahamas?” Amy had decided to join the conversation, asking the question that was number two on my list. What was up with the Bahamas? We both kinda shut down after the marriage certificate thing and now it felt like we had missed a pretty important part of the conversation.

Matt’s POV
“It seemed like I have booked a honeymoon for four, right after the wedding” Brian said, his shoulders hanging down. He turned to lady behind the reception desk.
“Excuse me. I would to cancel the trip to the Bahamas, I don’t care if there is a fee on it, but just cancel it and give me back at least the large part of my money”.
The woman blushed deeply “I… I’m really sorry, Mr. Haner, but I can’t do that”

I saw the anger in Brian’s face, his neck turning red already. I knew he must try his hardest to maintain his calm.
“What do you mean? You can’t do that?” He hissed between gritted teeth. The woman blushed deeply and she nervously moved some papers around.
“The trip was…. Well… it was a last minute, you will leave tonight and we don’t do refunds on those trips. I can cancel for you, but I can’t refund your money, I’m really sorry mr. Haner” She averted her eyes from Brian’s intense gaze.

Brian looked at me in despair “What am I going to do now Shadz? Fuck! This is messed up, man”
“Yeah I know, let me think” I looked around this collection of strangers. My best friend finally really losing his mind over this, his “wife” pall as a sheet, and Sara, though trying to comfort her friend, looking at me, the question for a solution in her eyes. I found myself staring at her, feeling sorry for her and her friend, we got caught up in strange things all the times, but this was bad, even for us.

And then she winked.
She winked!

I chuckled, receiving an annoyed look from Brian.
“You fucking think this is fucking funny?” Uh oh, now I really pissed Brian off, but I couldn’t help but think about the possibilities. We had a non refundable trip to the Bahamas, plane tickets with our names on it and two hot girls to spend our time with. Putting the marriage aside, we could have been in a much worse situation.

“What if we go on the trip?”
“WHAT?! Are you fucking crazy!?” Brian yelled.
“I can’t go on a trip with two strangers!” Amy added silently
“Yeah, awesome, but I don’t have enough clothes with me for a two week holiday” Sara smirked, receiving angry looks from both Brian and Amy. I let out a laugh, all she was worried about was not having enough clothes with her?
“Calm down, all of you, just think of it, why not? I mean, we can go to a sunny island, figure all of this out and go back to our lives after it. We can just hang out, relax, have some fun and fix all this in the meantime. Come on, it’s a good idea”

Brian shook his head, but I saw him warming up to the idea and I knew I didn’t need to do any pushing there. I looked at the girls.
“You don’t know us, I get it, but we really are pretty cool” I winked at them and then grabbed one hand of each girl. I smiled, showing them my dimples and immediately saw the result. Amy gasped and Sara licked her lips, oh they were putty in my hands, just one little push.
“We will take you shopping on the airport, buy some nice bikini’s and summer dresses and it will be all good right?” Sara bit her lip and nodded, Amy was still hesitating. Damn, this was some tough nut to crack, huh? Alright, last resort.

I looked at Sara and kissed her hand “Good, I knew you would be convinced by shopping”, then let go of her and took Amy’s hand in both of mine. I rubbed my thumb over her palm and stared at her. I registered an annoyed sigh from Brian next to me, but I couldn’t be bothered with that now, I needed both of these girls to be on board. I didn’t want to go on a honeymoon with my best friend.
“What about you Amy? What do you need to be persuaded?” I let my voice drop and showed her the dimples one more time, I saw a blush coming over her face. The voice and the dimples strike again! But then she crushed my sense of victory.
“I won’t be persuaded, this mess is big enough as it is, it doesn’t need any more confusion” she let out, pissed off tone included.
“Oh come on Amy, don’t be a be like that, it will be fun!” I let out, I hated losing and I definitely hated losing a contest that relied completely on my charms.

Sara turned towards her friend and grabbed her shoulders, for a moment they seemed to have some silent conversation between the two of them and Brian and I shared a look, not knowing these women even remotely well enough to know what would be going on in their minds. Then Sara turned to us again, her eyes to her feet.
“We don’t have money to go to the Bahamas, we checked in to the cheapest room in Vegas to have a nice weekend, we can’t go with you”
“Don’t you worry about that. The trip has already been paid for and I will take care of the clothing thing. It will be a total waste of money to not do it, right Brian?”
He let out small smile and nodded “Yeah, I’m not getting the money back anyway”

“We are not a pair of parasites, feeding off of your money, we can’t accept that” Amy straightened her shoulders and looked me in my eyes and then moved her eyes to Brian’s “We really can’t”.
Brian grabbed both her hands and let his smile come through a little better this time.
“I will take you both on our honeymoon, like a good husband supposed to…” He smirked and Amy opened her mouth to protest, but Brian wouldn’t let her “… as long as you give me an easy divorce afterwards”
Finally a smile broke through on Amy’s face and for a second I felt jealous. Did he seriously win the charm contest just now? Damnit, I didn’t like that at all!
“Okay, but don’t you go expecting to “consume the marriage”, because I don’t even remember the first time, couldn’t have been any good” Amy giggled, making Brian groan.
“You have some courage, wife, isn’t your task to keep me happy? This isn’t helping at all” but he smiled “We will see if we can change rooms when we get there, but if not, you girls take the honeymoon suite and we will take the other room… Do we have a deal?”
Amy nodded and Sara went and did her little dance again, which I was by now assuming, must be her little victory dance.
“We are going to the Bahamas! Yay! Always wanted to go there!”

We all smiled at her enthusiastic response. We were really going to do this huh?! Let’s make the best of it then.
“What if we arrange everything for the trip and you girls go and pack?” The girls nodded en so did Brian. The girls grabbed each other’s hand and turned to the elevators
“We will meet back here in an hour? We probably should leave for the airport by then” Brian yelled after them and they both held a thumb up, before they disappeared from our sight.

“Shit, what did you just get us into?” he sighed before turning to me again “This will not end well, Matt, let me tell you”
“Don’t be such a pessimist, sun, sea, beach, some nice girls, I could think of worse places to be” I shrugged, not really getting why Brian had to make it all so heavy. He looked at me in surprise.
“You really didn’t think about all of this, did you? You just saw some nice booty and wanted to have another go, seeing she didn’t even remember you?”
“Of course not!” but there was some kind of truth in the words, I remembered my night with Sara and even though we had fun, it was not at all what I had planned in the first place and that did hurt my ego.

“You didn’t even think about the fact that we could get recognized? That the whole world will be on our necks when they find this out? Think on how Larry would react to all of this? My family? My friends? This is fucking big, Matt, I got married! The man that just broke off a relationship because he couldn’t? You of all people should get it!” Brian rushed out the words and I realized he was right. We had to take some precautions before doing this or we would be in trouble.
“Let’s call Larry and tell him, he can do some damage control when shit hits the fan. And well, we can call Zack, he will tell everyone, it will be okay. People don’t know we are here, we have kept a low profile until now, I haven’t seen one single fan, yet. Don’t worry, we’ll worry after the Bahamas.”

“Yeah, you are probably right, but let’s call Larry after the trip, let’s try to keep this under wraps as much as possible” Brian turned to the lady from the reception and received all the documents for our trip, hotel reservations, tickets, the works. We went up to the room I woke up in, getting our stuff, before we would meet the girls again.

Just before we left the room I turned to Brian.
“You know, you are shocked, but so is that girl. You must have been attracted to her in the first place and I can’t blame you, she is hot!”
“Hey! That’s my wife you are talking about! Speaking of, the whole kissing her hand and using your seduction voice, throwing in the dimples, completely unnecessary”
I chuckled “You already jealous?! Seriously?”
Brian shook his head, but a small blush was seen on his cheeks “Hell no, of course not, but you are not taking both girls, I’m not being the third wheel on this trip!”
“Don’t worry, I won’t. I even think you should spend some time with her, get to know her. For now you two are bonded together by that certificate, you better make the best of it and try not to set her up against you. It won’t help the divorce either. Maybe you can put the time in the plane to good use?”

“Yeah, probably. Let’s do this” He opened the door and looked over his shoulder to me, shaking his head.

“Never thought I would take you on my honeymoon”

I guess I'm a little late for my comment now seeing that this story was over about four months ago. Couldn't read it back then cause I was busy with university and graduation. But finally I'm back, so I thought I'd catch up a little bit!

I really liked the plot, the beginning reminded me a little of the movie 'The Hangover'. That chemistry between both the couples was uh-mazing! And I especially loved how Brian started to realize that he had feelings for Amy. As for Mattyboy and Sara, they were my favorites :)

Good job, girls!
