Michelle's screaming must have alerted Brian, not even a minute later he came running into the bathroom. For a moment he stayed standing In the doorway just staring at me in shock.

" who did this Veronica?!" He roared, dropping to his knees beside me pulling me onto his lap. He tightly wrapped his arms around me, rocking us both back and forth. I whimpered loudly when his arm hit a sore spot on my hip. Michelle quickly moved his arm as she came closer inspecting the finger imprints Matt had left on my side. She took in a sharp breath of surprise, gazing up to me with tear filled eyes.

" Tell me baby, tell me who did this" Michelle cried out, her eyes pleading. I vigorously shook my head in protest, still too shook up to speak at the moment. Brian carefully positioned me on his lap so that we were face to face.

" Veronica, I need you to tell me who did this to you....... Daddy will make everything all better. But you have to tell us baby" he said in a comforting tone, though I could see the fury burning his eyes. I dropped my gaze, staring at my clothes that remained strewn all over the floor among the blood splotches that dotted the tile. Michelle got up making her way past me, I'm assuming to get the first aid kit when she kicked something across the floor. We all turned out heads as we heard a loud metal clang as the object slammed against the tub. She walked over picking the object up, I gasped out when I saw Matt's belt in her hand. I began to tremble when I realized I couldn't hide what happened, and I didn't know what Matt was capable of doing to me.

" That fucking son of a bitch!!" Brian growled. In his rage he didn't realize he was crushing his arms into my bruised body. I cried out as the pain seared my battered body, luckily making him loosen his grip.

" Who?!" Michelle screeched as she stared back and forth between the belt and Brian with a puzzled look on her face. He carefully pulled me from his lap, sitting me back down on the floor. He shot up making his way to Michelle, snatching the belt from her hand.

" Matt! I saw the way he looked at her that day, that fucker! But I never would have thought he would take it this far!" Brian yelled at no one in particular, almost like he was just talking to himself aloud. Michelle stayed frozen, still unsure of what he was talking about. I guess he didnt tell her about our play date. My shaking intensified as I feared what was going to happen.

" Please, just let it go. Please" I whispered, fearing that at any moment Brian would snap on me for my protest. I kept my gaze on the floor as the silence filled the room. I was horrified when no one spoke but I heard Brian creeping towards me slowly. I scooted my back against the wall, pulling my knees tightly into my chest, burying my head in my knees. I just knew he was going to flip out and god knows what else. This is the best I could do right now to try and protect myself. I flinched violently when I felt his hands softly wrap around my arms. My head shot up, my eyes wide, swimming in fear as I looked at him. But I didn't see the anger and malice I had assumed. He looked almost hurt.

" Are you scared of me?" He asked softly, hurt dripping from each word as he said it. I was taken aback at his question, was he being serious right now? And of course I would start to feel bad. They've held me captive to pretty much be their sex slave and he's confused as to why I'm scared of him. He dropped his head when he got his answer from my silence. I mean I was definitely more scared of Matt but Brian was still in no way my knight in shinning armor.

" I'm so sorry" he mumbled almost too low for me to make out. Which made me question if I had even heard him correctly or if I hit my head harder than I thought.

" I know you probably won't believe me and it doesn't excuse anything we've done. But Michelle and I truly love you halen, we really do" he said with a hint of desperation in his voice.

" You called me halen" I squeaked out in amazement. After so long he finally called me by my real name not the name they branded me with for their sick pleasure. The man I saw as a monster, the man that I felt was slowly changing me into a monster like him was showing his human side. A side I hadn't seen in a long time, a side I thought I would never see again. I looked over to Michelle while she remained by the tub, her head hung in shame as well at Brian's words.

" You can't leave us though halen, your apart of our family. We need you. I swear things will change, ill do anything. I just can't let you go" the whole time he spoke he kept his head down, almost like he was scared to see my expression as he poured out his heart. I felt my heart ache for him for some fucked up reason and I couldn't take it. Even though they both have hurt me, for some reason I couldn't find it within myself to hurt them. It was almost like I loved them too, that I needed them too and that realization frightened me.

" we have to get shana" I said, the words leaving my mouth, surprising even myself. I knew no matter what they weren't going to let me leave, but while I was on their good side I had to get shana away from Matt. After what he did to me I didn't even want to think about what she was going through. Brian and Michelle both raised their heads in disbelief that I didn't argue or disregard Brian's Plea. Michele came running over, sitting next to Brian and I, taking my face In Her hands and kissing my cheek.

" don't worry babe, we will all be be paying a trip to Matt's house soon. And ill make sure we get her out as well as giving Matt what he deserves" he smiled deviously. I smiled faintly. I was relieved he was going to help me with shana, but nervous about his plans for Matt, and the possible back lash it may cause.....
