Brian’s POV

I had her back, I finally had her back in my arms, and she loved me…
She told me she loved me and I loved her, we were together, finally.
How long have I waited for this feeling again, how often have I begged to have her again, just like this.

We still might have some things to think about and some things to settle, but right now all that matters was having my Ave with me.
Secured in my arms, safe and sound asleep…

It had took us a while to arrive at our hotel, everyone had already moved out of the Van but Ave was soundly asleep so I planned on letting her sleep a little longer before waking her.
The Van was parked near the hotel so whenever Ave woke up we could head up to our room.
And when she was finally up, I already had plans for me and my girl.

God, how good that sounded, calling her mine again. I breathed deeply in and out smelling Ave’s unique scent, her fruity shampoo and just that special hint of Ave in it.
Something buzzed and I frowned, I had put my phone on mute, so what was that? Did one of the guys forget their phones here?

I tried to wiggle a little out of Ave’s hold without letting completely go of her until I could locate the source of the noise was coming out of Ave’s bag beside the door.
I fished for the bag and tried to get the phone out, but before I could pick up it went silent again and I sighed.

I had noticed it buzzing again and again, for days now, saw Ave typing, she told me that James was writing her, and I didn’t like the fact that the drummer boy just couldn’t understand a no.
Maybe I really should take over some action and freaking call him back?!

“Babe?” Ave’s sleepy eyes opened slowly and I smiled, pushing all the thoughts to the back of my mind.
“Hey love, we arrived at the hotel, are you ready to go inside?” I asked her softly and Ave looked around the Van frowning.

“Where is everyone?” She asked a little groggy and I smiled “Well, they already went inside, I couldn’t make everyone enjoy watching you sleep like I do.” I chuckled making Ave’s head bounce up and down from my lap until she finally got up rolling her eyes.

“Why didn’t you wake me, silly?” She asked and stretched a little, while my eyes wandered down the shirt that was riding a little too low, giving me a nice peak at her breasts, making me forget that she had asked anything at all.

“Huh?” I asked when she elbowed my side.
“Why you didn’t wake me, babe?” She repeated and I nodded “Well, because you apparently needed some sleep, I took a lot of energy from you last night, I wanted to give you some back so you would be up for some more of where we left off” I smirked wiggling my eyebrows and Ave chuckled.

“I think I can handle another session or two” She gave me that beautiful smile and before I knew it she opened the Van door and jumped out, motioning me with her hand to follow her.
Something began to buzz again and I got really irritated with that. “Fucking hell…” I grabbed her bag and was about to pull her phone out but Ave was faster, scanning her phone and giving me a small smile, “I’ll call him soon and tell him what’s going on…” Ave looked a little uncomfortable “At least I’ll tell him parts of it, he deserves that much.” Ave said and looked so guilty that I had to pull her into my arms.

“It’s not your fault that he doesn’t understand the concept of friend zone, Ave. You said you told him that you don’t want him as a partner, it’s not your job to spell it out for him, love. You are with me now, and nothing else matters… and if he keeps on bugging you, I will tell him to fuck off, then he might believe it and listen to it.” I smiled, liking the thought of telling him to go to hell and leave my Ave alone, even though I couldn’t blame him for trying.

Ave and I arrived in our hotel room and I grabbed her around the hips pulling her into my body.
I pushed her hair to one side, so I had free access to nibble on her throat and make her moan out loud.

“You wanna stay up a little more and do something, or…” I trailed off smiling against her throat, while placing more kisses and nibbles there.
“Or…” Ave nearly moaned and I chuckled “Or do you want me to give you one of my special treatments?” I asked her and already began to unbutton the jeans she was wearing.

“You seem pretty sure that I will choose the second option?” Ave asked a little breathless when I dipped my hand into her pants and let my fingers strum over her clit.

“I liked that, maybe you could join me in the bathtub?” Ave asked and I grinned “Maybe”
When I helped Ave into the steamy water, but made sure it wasn’t too hot, I quickly left for a cigarette on the small balcony and when I moved back inside, that nerve wrecking phone was buzzing again.

“Alright, that’s it. I’m gonna put an end to this” I quickly moved over to Ave’s phone and saw, three missed call’s of Cassells, while he was still calling.

I picked up “Haner” and silence greeted me.
“Hello? You still there Cassells?” I asked quietly, he should know that I knew he was calling.

“What the- Where is Ave?” James asked and I grinned “Sleeping, what do you want and why are you keeping on calling? I think she was pretty clear telling you, she doesn’t want anything from you besides a friendship.” I told him and heard a curse on the line.
“I don’t wanna bloody talk to you, Gates. Put Ave on the phone” James demanded and I chuckled, wasn’t he cute.

“Like I said, no can do. I won’t wake my girl, when she is asleep now.” I said and that lie felt pretty good actually, and she would be sleeping soon- in my arms.
“Don’t fuck with me. I know that she is there for work, and Ave and I still have things to talk about.” James insisted and started to really piss me off now.

“She has nothing to talk to you about, man. I’m sorry to spell it out for you, but Ave and I are back together, and you have no business in calling her anymore. I don’t want that, and you don’t need to bother her with anything, got that?” I asked and more curses sounded from James side of the line.

“I don’t believe you. What if you just stole her phone, because you’re a jealous ass and don’t want me to talk to her” James countered and damn, he wasn’t as dumb as I thought.

But I was as good at bluffing “If you want I can send you a freaking picture of Ave sleeping here beside me, in my arms if you want.” I said and again silence greeted me, eat that asshat!

“Okay, so that information finally sank in, congratulations. Now, please stop the calling, you aint got any chance with Ave, she is happily back with me and that will never change. Nice life” With that I hung up and lifted my head with a triumphant smile on my face, meeting Ave’s frowning face.

Maya’s POV

I knew it wasn’t the best idea to ask your ex boyfriend if you could chat with your current boyfriend from his laptop and I did try to freaking get around that, but there wasn’t an option really…

Ave told me her laptop wasn’t really working lately, I left mine in the UK, Johnny said he didn’t even have one, as Gates, who doesn’t even seem to know what Internet is and Zack said he needed his for himself and some business talks, so that only left Matt.

I told Ben I didn’t know if I would get the chance to find a laptop to chat with him, but he had been so sad and made me feel even guiltier than I already was for leaving him, that I had only one chance… ask Matt for help.

Matt told me he wanted to be my friend, and he really acted as my friend too, he didn’t even ask me why I wanted to use it and I was kinda relived he didn’t.
I would have told him the truth if he had asked, and then he would have probably said no, but that’d be okay… I couldn’t blame him… but he said yes and that changed a whole of a lot.

I stood at Matt’s door feeling not only guilty and at the same time excited, no to that little combination also added a lot of confusion, when he had opened the door looking like he was about to go out, I frowned a little.

He had smelled delicious, the cologne I loved on him… and I tried to push that thought away, I was about to talk to Ben, and shouldn’t be thinking about Matt, god this was a dumb idea.

When Matt had left and I started to chat with Ben it felt good, he was making me laugh and I did miss him, but there was still a feeling like something was missing, but what?!
He kept telling me just how much he missed me and how beautiful I looked and I smiled, he kept spinning in his chair until he stopped and leaned in closer, then grabbing the beer in front of him, saying, “Oh hey, Shads didn’t see you there!” He had called suddenly and I swirled around as fast as I could, what was he talking about?!

I saw Matt standing near the door, as if he was about to leave again he met my eyes for a short moment then turned to finally leave but I wouldn’t let him, not like that.

“Matt? Where are you going?” I quickly got up, forgetting about Ben who was still on the video chat.
I caught up with Matt at the door, when he was about to close it.
“I’m going to the bar. Take your time talking to your boyfriend on my computer,” Matt spat and then slammed the door in my face.

“FUCK!” I cursed loudly, and closed my eyes, I knew I shouldn’t have done that and should have just told Ben that it wasn’t possible.
But I wanted to make him happy and see him, wanted to have that feeling again when I was with him in the UK, but it seemed there was still something missing something not right, but I just couldn’t figure it out, but in the end my stubbornness didn’t let me just drop it.

“Maya? Are you okay?” Ben’s voice sounded and I tried to calm myself down.
“I-I.. yes, but this was a dumb idea.” I turned around and walked back to the desk, and Ben frowned.
“What? What do you mean?” Ben asked and I shook my head again. “Did you know he was there? Did you see him?” I asked getting suspicious, Ben had suddenly turned the talk in a certain direction.

“Love, I just saw him when I mention it… What is he doing in your room anyway? Creeping in like that?” Ben asked and I frowned, was he saying the truth?
“He didn’t creep in, it’s actually his room. I asked him if I could use his computer… so he let me use it in his room while he had some things to do… So yeah, I am here in his room.” I explained and Ben looked not pleased at all.

“And I should have known better” I sighed and put my head in my hands.
“Maya, don’t look like that.. He knows you are taken, so why is it such a big deal. It’s not your fault that he walked in while you are talking to your boyfriend.” Ben tried to soothe me but it didn’t feel right and I didn’t feel better at all.

“Love, look at me. Don’t let him make you feel bad cause you were talking to me. That’s what he has to deal with, not you. We are a couple, and he has to accept that.” Ben said again and I nodded, not really wanting to talk to him about that anymore.

“I should get out of here now.” I told Ben and met his eyes through the screen, I saw his smile drop “Ah fuck, Maya… I loved to see you, and hoped we would have more time… I swear as soon as I get the chance I will fly to you… When we finally get some writing on the album done, I’ll come over if you are not back here already, okay?!”

“Yeah.. Okay, Ben… I really need to hang up now. We will talk again tomorrow… Goodnight” I shut down the window and closed the laptop.
What should I do now? I should apologize to Matt… I could wait here until he would come back, so I could apologize…

Or would he rather have me gone? Shit, I had no idea what to do.
I paced his room and looked at the clock, my phone buzzed and I quickly looked to see if maybe Matt wrote me again, but I knew better…

Goodnight, love. I can happily sleep now after seeing your beautiful face again, but I begin to miss you again already.
Don’t feel too bad about what happened…I love you… Ben

I didn’t know what to reply so I just put the phone back in my pocket and paced some more, when it was way after midnight I knew it wouldn’t make any sense to wait longer, maybe he was just waiting for me to be gone?!

I wrote him a note and left his room and planned to walk towards mine, but I couldn’t without walking a final time down towards the lobby, giving the bar a final look to find Matt sitting there together with MB, Jason, Johnny and Dan.

I was tempted to go over there and try to talk to him, but knew it would make things probably even worse, as if he had heard me his head moved up and he looked into my direction, when our eyes met, he quickly looked away, and laughed at something Dan said, quickly dismissing me.

I sighed and left, maybe I would get a chance to talk to him tomorrow, or I knew I would get a chance. I would tell him I’m sorry for using his laptop, and not telling him why I wanted to use it, that’s what he was upset about, right?!

So I went to sleep and it seemed like sleep wasn’t my friend anymore, because I woke up early in the morning. I walked down towards the dining hall, and heard some laughter and was glad that some of our friends and crew members were already awake as it seemed, so I wouldn’t be sitting there alone.

Maybe I could even find out how long the guys had been having their nightly drink at the bar, so I knew how late I could meet up with Matt.
I walked towards the table and saw Brian, Ave and Matt sitting there alone, and that stunned me a little, Matt was already up?

I quickly bridged the last distance when Ave waved at me and motioned me to come over, Brian and Matt drank their coffee and when they noticed Ave was waving at me, Matt sat his coffee cup down and looked away, he seemed to breathe deeply in and out and then got up.

I smiled when he seemed to walk towards me, but instead of greeting me or giving me a small chance to talk to me he headed into the other direction and didn’t even say hi.
I looked at his retreating form and was too stunned to even call his name to stop him.
He must have seen me, right? I mean… he had walked just a couple of feet away…

I let my shoulders slump down and headed towards the table where Ave and Brian were sitting, she was cuddled into his side, and they looked so in love, it nearly hurt my heart and I didn’t even know why, because… I should be happy too.

I looked at the table and saw Matt’s plate was still half eaten, and even his coffee cup was still filled with steaming coffee… what the hell?! Had something happened that he had to leave so abruptly?

I was about to sit down on the table from Ave and Brian, but then decided otherwise. Maybe I could catch Matt upstairs, I at least wanted to apologize, nothing else.

“Maya.. where are you going?” Ave asked and I turned around “I forgot something…I’ll come back down later” I told her with a small smile, which even I wouldn’t believe myself as real.

But Ave already turned back into Brian’s embrace and I sighed, but I noticed Brian’s eyes were still on me, he might get more of the situation then Ave right now, but I didn’t want to think about that for too long, so I quickly turned and made my way up to Matt’s floor.

He was just at his door when I came out of the staircase and his eyes met mine, “Matt, wait a second” I yelled but he shook his head “Sorry, I have a meeting about the sound check with Jason and the other sound guys, maybe later” He closed his door and left me standing there.

Well, of course that was important, he was doing his job here, they soon had a show to play and I shouldn’t bother him doing that maybe that was the reason that he got up so quickly from breakfast, because of the meeting, that would explain that…

I would go back to my room and take a shower, try to clear my head and maybe after breakfast I would run into Matt again.
I mean normally we were spending most of the day in close proximity, why not today?!

After the shower I was feeling a little better and was having breakfast together with Jess and Jimmy, they didn’t know what happened yesterday and they weren’t asking weird questions. Jimmy was just planning some new adventures, and he planned to take his three Knife Angels with him, as he called me, Jess and Ave now. He was thinking about calling himself Charlie, like Charlie’s Angels, but he thought Jimmy’s Angeles ruled way more, and Jess and I agreed.

Next thing I know was that Jimmy told us that they soon had sound check and he had to clear some things with Jason about the arrangements and had to leave me and Jess alone, since I had no idea where Ave was, I decided to spend a little time together with Jess at the booth and help her out.

When I knew the sound check was starting, I decided to head over to the stage and have a look at how the guys were managing, and found Ave standing near the stage as well, watching Brian and I smiled seeing her happy and in love again, it suited her so well… so why was I feeling more and more that something was going wrong in my life?!

Taking Ave's phone and calling James off, was that a clever move?!

And Matty and Maya... what are we going to do with those two?!
