Brian's Pov
"Brian, wake up." Johnny said shaking me.
"Go away." I mumbled.
"Brian it's 2 p.m. Get up!" He said shaking me harder.
I rubbed my eyes and got up.
"That's good." He said as I sat up straight.
"You see, I was right." He said.
"Right about what?" I asked rolling his eyes.
"You and I get along pretty well." He said. "I should tell this to the others." He said excitedly.
"Whoa, slow down there Short Shit." I said and looked at him.
"What?" He asked.
"You and I get along well? What's that supposed to mean?" I asked.
"You listen to me. And we don't even fight." He said.
"If you think that I woke up just because you called me, then you're wrong." I said.
"What?" He asked confused.
"I woke up because I have a meeting." I said rubbing my face.
"Meeting? Why didn't you guys tell me about it?" He asked.
"It's not a band meeting. I'm going out with Alice." I said.
"Who the hell is that?" He asked.
"The reporter." I said rolling my eyes.
"Oh, she's hot." He said.
"Cut it out Johnny. She's mine." I said.
"What do you mean she's yours?" He asked.
"You'll see." I said with a smirk.
"OK. But what am I supposed to say to the guys?" He asked.
"Johnny they're not gonna ask you anything." I said.
"Not unless you tell them everything." I mumbled.
"Don't worry. I'll keep it a secret." Johnny said.
"Thanks Johnny." I said and went upstairs.
I changed into a black v-neck with my jacket and black jeans.
"Johnny I'm going." I said looking at my phone.
"Cool, I'll stay here." Johnny said.
"Don't ruin my house." I said and left.
I drove to Alice's house and rang the bell. Angie opened the door and looked at me with an open mouth. Nothing new.
"Hello Angie." I said politely.
"What the......hi. What're you doing here?" She asked surprised.
"I came to pick Ms. Blake. We're supposed to go out for coffee." I said.
"Coffee?" She asked looking at me.
"I'm guessing Ms. Blake didn't inform you." I said with a smirk.
"Please come in." She said shakily.
I went inside the house and looked around. The house was full of pink and purple stuff.
"Where is Ms. Blake?" I asked.
"She isn't home yet." Angie said and I nodded my head.
We talked about the interview and she even asked a few questions. The bell rang and Angie excused herself and went to open the door. I couldn't see who it was but I heard a familiar voice.
"What?" I heard the voice again.
A few seconds later, Alice comes in and looks at me surprised.
"Alice nice to see you." I extend my hand she shakes it.
"Alice, you should get ready." Angie said and they went inside.

Alice's Pov
"Clint, I'm leaving." I said and Clint waved his hand.
As I walked to my apartment, I saw a black Mercedes in front of it. Who the hell parked the car in front of my house?
I went upstairs and ring the bell quickly. Angie opens the door and grins at me.
"What?" I ask.
"He's here." She whispers.
"Who's here?" I ask.
"Alice, Synyster Gates is here." She says.
Oh boy. As I get inside the house, I see him sitting on the couch.
"Alice nice to see you." He extends his hand and I shake it, blinking rapidly.
"Alice you should get ready." Angie said and we went inside.
"You are going out with him?" Angie asked as we got into my room.
"Angie, I was gonna tell you. God knows how I forgot." I said.
"Whatever. What are you gonna wear?" Angie asks excitedly.
"How about this?" I said taking out a blue skinny pant and a flannel t-shirt.
"Honey, you can't go out with him like that." Angie said looking at my closet.
"What' wrong with it?" I asked.
"He's Synyster Gates." Angie said turning at me. "Thousands of girls go crazy for him, they all wanna go out with him. But honey, he chose you." She said.
An electric bolt passed through me abruptly. He chose me?
"Don't you wanna look your best?" Angie asked and I nodded my head.
"Please, wear this one." She said handing me my red top and black knee length pants.
"OK." I swallowed hard.
Angie did my hair and make up.
"And you're ready!" She said excitedly.
I sighed and we went out. He was sitting on the couch and when he saw us he got up. He was looking at me without even blinking. Am I looking that bad?
"Ms, Blake, you look gorgeous." He said.
"See, I told you." Angie whispered.
"Thank you, Brian." I said and he smirked at me.
"We should be going." Brian said, offering his hand. I took it and he gave it a squeeze.
"See you later." Angie said and we left.
We went down and he unlocked the car. Oh, it's his car.
"Thank you." I say and get in. He gets in the driver's seat and we leave.
"We were supposed to meet at Star Bucks'. Why did you come to pick me?" I asked.
"You didn't want me in your house?" He asks.
"No, it's not like that. I........" What should I say?
"I'm kidding Ms. Blake." He said with a chuckle.
"Please, call me Alice." I said.
"OK." He said.
We were almost there, but he drove past Star Bucks'.
"We left it behind." I said looking at him.
"I know." He said, his eyes on the road.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"Alice, you ask too many questions." He says looking at me. God, it almost killed me.
"We're going to Mastro's Steakhouse." He says coolly.
"What?!" I almost scream.
"You don't like it?" He asked surprised.
"Like it? Mr. Gates I can't even afford to go there." I said.
"What did you call me?" He asks firmly.
"I'm sorry, Brian." I say quickly.
"Where do you wanna go then?" He asks.
"Star Bucks'?" I asks and he drives there.
Gee, I can't believe he took me to Mastro's Steakhouse!
As we enter Star Bucks', I see Clint looking at me in surprise.
"Alice, you here now?" He asks.
"Yeah, I'm here with......." I look at him and say, "him."
"Him? Isn't he...........oh my god. He's Synyster Gates." Clint says.
He knows him too??
"Hello." Brian says and Clint does the same.
"Clint he came here yesterday too." I said.
"It's a pleasure to have you here." Clint says with a smile.
"Thank you." Brian says.
We sit at a table and he looks at me. No, he practically stares at me!!
"How long have you known Angie?" He asks.
"Since our freshman year. She's a good friend." I said.
"What would you like?" He says looking at the menu.
"Um, salted caramel hot chocolate?" I asked and he smiles.
"Excuse me." He call and Jake comes to take the order.
"One salted caramel hot chocolate and......" Before he could say, I spoke for him.
"Let me guess. One zebra mocha........" I said and he smirked.
"Right." He said and Jake brought our orders.
He looked at his phone and played with it. God, I could watch him all day.
"Penny for your thoughts?" He asks, startling me.
I gaze at him and he asks me again. "Hello?"
"What were you saying?" I ask shaking my head.
"What were you thinking?" He asks.
"Nothing." My whole face turns red.
"Can I ask you something?" I ask and he shakes his head.
"Why did you invite me for coffee?" I ask.
"I want to know about you." he said.
"There's not much to know." I say biting my lip.
"Please, that's a distraction. Don't do it." He says and I free my lip.
"What do you wanna know?" I ask.
"Are you engaged?" He asks. Well............
"No." I say and he shakes his head.
"So you're single?" He asks and I shake my head. Where is this going??
"Alice, I'm a very straightforward person. So I won't beat around the bush." He says.
"What do you mean?" I ask.
"I find you very attractive." He says. My god!
"What?" I stutter.
"Yes, I do. You're different from the women I have seen. And I would like to know more about you. What you like, what you hate, in short everything." He says.
"But why me?" I ask.
"Why you?" He asks surprised.
"Alice, look at yourself. You're beautiful, smart, sweet.......do you need any other reasons?" He asks.
"I......I don't know what to say." I say.
"Alice, here's my number." He says giving me a card.
"I don't want you to take any decisions in haste. You can call me whenever you want." He says and gets up.
"I'll see you later." He pays the bill and leaves.
Holy hell! What was that??
