Erin’s P.O.V

I spent nearly a half an hour making out with Matt.. and not that I was getting tired of it but my dad was most likely home… and I had to explain the bruise now that I had on my face.

“So… I have to go home.. I am sure that my dad is gonna freak when he sees my face” I said to Matt and he stroked the marking gently.

“How did that happen?” He asked… wow did he really not know what the hell happened
after he walked out of school… I would have guessed someone would have told him.

“Well… you told Val you were seeing me on the side and that you had feelings for me and not but a moment you walked out of school… she punched me and Brian carried me home. You really didn’t know?” I asked and he just shook his head tensing because Val was being nuts… but.. I could understand she was mad.

“Calm down incredible hulk… you wanna come with me and stay for dinner… maybe you can help me with my dad… I am sure Jimmy will be there with Izzy” I said and he just leaned back down and kissed me and the he turned around and I jumped on his back. We made it to the house and when I got inside I was startled and nearly knocked down Matt stopping my tracks at the sight of my mother.

“Mom… what are you doing here?” I asked and then my dad came from around the corner.

“Ah Erin you are home, Matthew good to see you again. Are you staying for dinner?” My dad asked Matt and he smiled and nodded.

“Yes that would be nice Mr. Collins” Matt said.. it was weird seeing the formal side of Matt.

“Well Izzy and Jimmy are upstairs so you can join them for now… dinner is in 30” My dad said and I smiled at Matt.

“Can you give me a minute and I will be right up” I said and he walked upstairs. My dad looked at my face and sighed.

“You wanna explain your face Erin” My dad said no longer being Mr. Nice guy and annoying me.

“You wanna explain mom being here DAD” I said getting an attitude and my mom got up off the couch looking angry.

“Don’t speak to the man who is taking care of you Erin Elizabeth Collins!” She said and I rolled my eyes and my father nudged me.

“Stop it right now… I didn’t raise you like this.. now explain” My father said…. Damn him.

“It was just someone who doesn’t like me.. stuff happens… okay so drop it.. I am fine no need to go off the deep end” I said and turned around getting a glass of water and he leaned on the counter.

“Erin someone hit you.. and you are telling me not to go off the deep end… people don’t just hit someone because they look at them and think that they don’t like you” My dad
said.

“Dad you always worry over the smallest stuff.. I am not made of glass! I am happy tonight so can you please not freak out on me… I really don’t want Matt seeing me like this..” I said and he softened up.

“Ohhhhhhh I get it…” He said and he stepped back knowing that he was completely embarrassing me. He motioned for me to leave and I ran upstairs and hungout with everyone and Izzy and Jimmy just stared at Matt and me.

“Soo… dude… question” Jimmy said to Matt and he just laughed and smiled.

“Are you two like… together?” Jimmy asked and Matt and I both stopped what we were doing and stared at each other and then to Jimmy and then back at one another.

Matt’s P.O.V

Erin chose me.. and I was just asked the biggest question of the night… whether we were official.

“Gahhh come on I am dying to know the answer!!!” Izzy said loudly and Erin just sat quietly fidgeting nervously.. it was really cute and distracting.. I was kinda in a trance because her shirt showed her abs and she bent to the side and looked me in the eyes and smiled widely and she just sealed the deal.

“YES.. GOD YES” I said and everyone sat there completely shocked at how forward I was and just as she came over and sat on my lap and kissed me her mom walked through the door.

“Alright guys.. the food is ready” She said and I think Erin was still wierded out that her mom was here. We all walked down and everyone sat there in silence for a while and then Erin’s mom… shocked us all.

“So Matt are you having sex with my daughter?” She asked me and I nearly choked on my food and Erin passed the sparkling water and I took a huge drink.

“Mom… seriously! Why are you even here?” Erin asked her and she slammed her fist on the table and her father rubbed his head.

“I never left since the hearing!! For fuck sakes Erin when will you forgive me!!!!!!” She yelled and Erin looked at her father and I could tell that we were supposed to leave. We all got up and went outside and walked around and were drawn to the fact that someone was moving in down the street. We walked down there and a rather short guy walked out.. looked about our age with blonde and brown hair and a nose ring and smiled.

“What’s up guys I am Johnny.. I just moved in” He said.. seemed like our kind of guy!
