Erin’s P.O.V

The weekend flew past… there were a million texts from Zack… text and calls from Matt who was fucking losing him mind. Hannah had stayed here Saturday with Izzy and I but even after a whole Sunday with Izzy I was livid. I changed for school and left my down and waited for Izzy and she smiled.

“Come on Erin it is a new week! Forget about men and just focus on your friends!! There are other guys!” She said to me and I smiled to get her off my back. I grabbed my backpack and walked to school with her instead of taking the car.

“Sooo I guess I just want to say this… I really like Jimmy… is he single?” Izzy asked and I smiled and turned and hugged her.

“I give you my blessing to go and pursue that man! He is a really great guy!” I said to her. We walked silently the rest of the way and when I walked into the school Zack was standing by my locker waiting for me. I opened my locker and paid no attention to him until he handed me flowers and he put them in my hand and I dropped them in my locker.

“Come on Erin don’t shut me out” He said grabbing my arm lightly and coming closer to me.

“Get out of my face Zack.. how dare you even have the balls to talk to me or look in my direction… go look for a piece of ass somewhere else” I said to him and he tightened his grip on my arm and I sighed and he brought his face towards mine.

“Forgive me or I swear to go I will go off on you” He whispered to me in my ear and I tried to look the other way and Matt came up to us.

“Take a walk Baker… I know you aren’t bothering her right now…” He said and I just sighed and pushed them both out of my way.

“You are both buffoon’s now stay out of my face” I said to them and walked toward homeroom. I sat down by Hannah and she just looked at me.

“How are you holding up sweetie?” She asked and Izzy sat down in front of me.

“She is still not herself… your brother really seemed to have gotten to her.. I have never seen her like this!” Izzy said and I just scoffed and went through my classes like usual with glares from like everyone during the day. It got to music class and I just sat there and Mr. Haner came up to me.

“Miss Collins… I wanna test your abilities” He said and I wasn’t really feeling it but he pulled me up.

“Come on you just need to channel the feelings and connect them into the music! Just take a moment and sing me something.. Mr. Sullivan you come in with a beat when she starts and then Brian come in with the guitar and Matt backups.” He said and I wandered my mind and some Avril Lavigne- I’m With You came into my mind.

I'm with you….. I drifted off not caring what was surrounding me but when I looked up it was only Matt in the room… only him…

“Thank you Miss Collins… you have got power and heart” Mr. Haner said and I walked back to my desk and when the bell rang I walked out and to my locker and Matt came over to me and he secretively rubbed my back. I sighed and then backed up and looked at him and just started getting sad again.

“Later Matt… not now” I said to him and he just stared at me and then hugged me.

“I will swing by at around 6… we will spend some time together” He whispered in my ear and I walked to Hannah and Izzy and then made my way out. Hannah kept staring at me and I just had an odd feeling around her so I stopped.

“I am gonna hangout with Matt tonight… although from the way that you look at us when we are around each other I think he told you about our arrangement… well I am unsure of it now.. so don’t worry about it” I said and then walked little further ahead and home. I was just not in the mood for this… I think.. I wanted to explore other men instead of burden either me or the ones that are around me.
