Snitch

Summary

After dark, the streets of Omaha, Nebraska come quietly alive. Handshakes convey more than a friendly greeting and once or twice a month the suicide rate goes up. Behind it all is a network of drug dealers, men and women who keep junkies happy while raking in money under the table. Jimmy Sullivan is one of those men. But his time on the streets isn't always easy. Even the best dealers get caught and prison is the last place anyone wants to end up. But for Jimmy, there's an out. All he has to do is tell Lt. Michealson his secrets. In exchange, he won't end up a felon for life.

Jimmy doesn't like talking to the lieutenant. He finds him nosy, fat, and entirely too eager to get rid of drug dealers. But the threat of prison time sobers him, if only for a short time. He's been to prison and will never shake the scars of those days, weeks, and sometimes years behind bars. Given the option of having his record wiped and going to rehab instead of prison this time, he has a tough decision to make: risk his life and tell on his street friends or face another prison term, one that might not end with him alive this time.

SNITCH is contemporary LGBT fiction.
