Brian POV

Great! Arin’s decision not to show up at the studio just fuck ups everything even more! I know that last night ended on a bad note, but him not showing up scares me a bit. This never happened before. I have fought with the guys thousands time, but we patch things up within hours.
Maybe Arin is different; maybe he truly was pissed at us and didn’t appreciate my point.

Right now we’re on the way to his house in Matt’s and Jason’s cars. Zacky continued calling him but every call ended up to voicemail.
“Just give up already Zacky. Plus we are on the way to his house, we will see what’s going on from there” Johnny tells him as he shoves away his phone.
Zacky glares at me with a deadly look on his face, “What is your problem now? It’s not my fault he is not picking up his phone”.
“No, that is not your fault, true. But it is true that you fucked up badly!”
“Don’t start Baker, I’m not in the mood!” I snap at him.
“No-one is!”

As I am about to answer him back, my phone starts ringing. I can see Zacky glaring at my phone, with the name ‘Arin’ written all over his face. I signal him that it isn’t him and he gets down into his seat, down with disappointment.
“Hey Brenda” I quietly say, trying not to make it obvious to the guys.
“Wow, someone seems to be overjoyed hearing my voice right now!” she replies back in an instant.
I had to chuckle at this remark. Gosh, I start to remember how nice that night at her house was. I want to do that, again and again.
“No it’s not like that! And you know that, number one fan!”
“Quit it Brian! Damn, you shouldn’t have come up to my room that night!” she replies.
“But if I hadn’t, then we wouldn’t have had some of the amazing sex sessions ever!” I notice that Johnny is eyeing me weirdly, most probably he heard the word ‘sex’ and now he will pay attention, knowing him!
“True that!”
“See, I was right, again” I chuckle.
“Anywayssss, shall I see you tonight at Rock Ambition?” Brenda asks me. “I won’t mind seeing your face another time”.
“I don’t know yet…” I tell her.
“Oh…” she softly whispers through the phone, seemingly disappointed.
“I can’t explain much right now Brenda. But some shit came up and we need to figure out how to solve it. If we manage, I will come I promise!”
“Okay….”
“I’m sorry babe! I would rather see you tonight, believe me!”
For a minute or so there was complete silence. Finally Brenda decides to speak up. “Hopefully you’ll manage everything by then. See ya”
“Wait, Brenda I…..”

But it’s already too late. She hung up.
“Shit!” I scoff to myself, tossing the phone to the seat.
“Lady problems? You got a girl pregnant?” Johnny asks me.
I hit him in his head, “Ass!”
“Quit it guys! We just arrived!” Matt says as he parks the car by the side, just in front of Arin’s place.
We all get out and within seconds the rest arrive as well.
“His car is still here, so is that a good or bad sign?” Zacky asks.
“First we have to knock to get to know something, you stupid!” I remark.

We all move to his house, one after the other with Matt leading the pack. He bangs loudly on the door and then he rings the doorbell. We wait for a few seconds, no response. Matt knocks another time, louder than before, but again we got no response.
“See if the door is unlocked Matt” Jason tells him.
Matt does so, and to our surprise the door opens. Matt goes in.
“Arin. It’s me Matt. Are you here? I’m coming in!”
Matt looks at Johnny, “You come with me short shit. The rest of you wait here”.

As the rest of us are waiting by the wall outside of Arin’s house, I notice a neighbour peeping from the side. She doesn’t see me looking at her.
“Excuse me lady, you mind if I ask you something?” I tell her, surprising her since I had caught her.
“S-sure thing, tell m-me boy” she stutters.
“Have you seen Arin around lately? We’re his friends and he’s not picking up his phone!” I explain to her.
“Well, I don’t know what happened by I heard police sirens just a couple of hours ago and they were taking him with them”
“I don’t think you’re talking about Arin. Maybe you mistook him with someone else” Zacky jokes.
“Mister I know all of the people living in my street and what type of persons they are. They took Arin with them, they were three policemen in all. To be completely honest I was surprised since he always seemed like a nice-type of guy. But apparently everyone can amuse the rest. I wish you a good day gentlemen” she says and with that she leaves.

“What the flying fuck?!” Jason says as we all stare at each other in astonishment.
Matt and Johnny get out of the house.
“He isn’t here you guys!” Johnny tells us, out of breath.
“Well, apparently he’s at the police station!” Jason says.
“You gotta be kidding me!” Matt yells in frustration, as Zacky’s phone goes off.
“Hello?” Zacky says through the phone, as we wait in silence. “Arin, what the….what? Are you alright man? Yeah yeah sure thing. Yes, I will tell them. Don’t worry buddy. I will see you soon!” and he hangs up.
“So?” I ask.
“She was right, he’s at the police station”.


Brenda POV

I did the right thing, no I did not……I did the right thing, no I did not…..
Fuck I should stop thinking about this and just let it go!!

I have decided to call Brian cos damn, I haven’t stopped thinking about him as of that night! Since he came regularly to the club, I thought of mention it to see if he’s coming or not. And I have to admit that I am a bit disappointed that he’s not. I thought that he would.

I know something is up with his friends, that was the reason why he left. But still, I am feeling insecure. All the thoughts that kept going through my head before are appearing again.
I knew the type of man that Synyster Gates is: I was a fan of his, and I knew that he’s a playboy trying to get into every woman’s pants. As I got to know Brian, he was showing me a different side from that perception and I thought that in real life – not his stage persona – he can be a decent man.

But I’m not sure. What if he bails out, now that he got what he wanted all along? What if he didn’t find me interesting enough to his entertaining life? What if tonight he’s planning on seeing other girls?
And to be honest I don’t know why I’m making a big deal out of it. I knew that it would be a one-time thing, but I think the fan side of me got the best of me and wanted more from her idol.
Damn it!

Anyways, I should forget about it, I should go to work and have a good night. Then whatever happens, happens.
As I open the door to leave the house and head to work I see Marissa standing in front of me.
“Jesus Christ Marissa! You scared the shit out of me!” I tell her, clenching to my chest.
She doesn’t reply and seems to be a bit lost. It’s been a while since I had seen her like this. Something must have happened.
“What is wrong Marissa? You’re scaring me!” I tell her.
“I need to tell you something Brenda!”

So the guys have just found out that Arin is in prison! What will they do/should do? What is going on between Brian and Brenda? And what is wrong with Marissa?
