Hush, be careful of what you say

Brian POV

Well, well, I have to admit that I was wrong, so wrong. I had so many doubts about tonight and they all turned out to prove me wrong. The gig is going amazingly, the fans are enjoying every second of it, the ‘hacker’ didn’t do anything else after posting that message and Arin is killing it. Tonight the kid proved me that he really wants a place in our band, that he is determined and that he isn’t going to let one person to bring him down. The fans love him and at some instances they were even calling out his name!
Right now I’m a bit drunk, well, I tend to drink a little bit too much while playing. I can see some beautiful girls on the front, some of which have thrown their bras at me. Right now I’m doing a competition against Zacky – who gets the most bras. Believe it or not, he is winning! Damn it!

As I’m about to change the guitar for the next song, Nightmare, I see the guitar tech looking a bit concerned.
“I might be a bit drunk, but even I can notice that your head is not in the game. What happened?” I ask him as I swap the guitars.
“Nothing. Just finish the concert and then I’ll talk to you afterwards” he says, not looking me in the eye.
“Dude, I…” I start but soon he interrupts me.
“Forget it. Just go, play and have fun. Just be careful of what you say, as you might start a war with this hacker person” he tells me as he turns me around and pushes me forward.
What the hell did he mean by that?! Did the person post something else? Fuck, I want to know, right now, but we still have a couple of songs left to finish the concert so I guess I just have to wait and see.

At the end of the concert, we all go to sign some posters and take some photos with the fans, which have already lined up by the side of backstage. Some fans are just so determined to meet us, it’s almost funny!
I look up and notice that Arin is still by the side, seemingly like he’s afraid to come forward.
“What’s wrong kid?” I ask him, drinking more beer.
“Should I come and sign the posters or not? I mean I’m not you, I’m still new” he says, a bit concerned.
“Are you fucking kidding me?! Some of the fans kept yelling your name. Besides, you’re part of the band now so just come and sign these” I tell him as I give him some posters and a marker.
“Since when you had approved my place in the band?” he chuckles.
“Since tonight, when I saw you playing the drums in front of our fans. And you’re welcome!” I tell him.

As we’re signing some posters, we keep taking pictures with the fans.
“Oh my god, I can’t believe I’m actually taking a picture with you guys! You’re my idols, seriously!!” a crazed fan tells us.
“Well, you better believe this as you only have a couple of minutes with us” Johnny jokes with her.
We group up as the fan comes in the middle of our group, posing for the camera.
“It was nice meeting you Avenged Sevenfold! And I’m really sorry for what had happened tonight!” she says, as she hugs us all.
“Well, we do stick up for each other. So it was normal to do such speech during a show!” Matt explains.
“I’m not talking about that Matt, I’m talking about your equipment van”.
We all look surprised at the person since we don’t know what she’s talking about.
“What do you mean about our van? What happened?” Zacky asks as he comes forward.
“Haven’t you heard?” she asks again, as she looks at each and every one of us.
We all look blankly at her and Matt signals her to spill the beans.
“The hacker wrote a message on your van. I’m sorry, I thought that you knew! Or else I wouldn’t have said anything!” she continues with tears in her eyes.
Matt tried to console her while I go and find my tech backstage.

“What did you want to tell me earlier on? Why were you worried? Does it have anything to do with a message on our van?” I bombard him with my questions as he stands still.
“Yes”, he finally blurts out. “There’s Matt, Jason’s brother, cleaning the shit so don’t worry!”
“What?!” I yell, as I run off the backstage to go outside. I go to the streets and see him cleaning the van.
“Matt stop!” I scream at the top of my lungs.
I stop running and he walks away from the van without any hesitation. I look at the van, it’s a complete mess! I go around the van to read the message that son-of-a-bitch has written. While I’m reading it, the rest of the guys join me.
“What does it say Brian?!” Johnny asks me. I look at him and see the guys lined up waiting for my response.
“The same bullshit” I try to shrug it off as I get a sponge and start to clean the van.
“Brian, cut the bullshit and just read the message, for Christ’s sake!” Arin yells. “I’m not afraid of this douche!”
I’m not so eager to say the message, but that is what they want.
“The message states, ‘Humiliating me in front of your fans?! Dumb move. I will still post shit about Arin, until he actually commits a crime or suicide! That will be the day my mission is accomplished, the day I will stop bothering you!’”

“Fucking shit, this is getting on my nerves now, for real!” Zacky yells, looking all pissed.
“You think you’re the only one, Vengeance?” Matt tells him. “If I could, I’d go to the police!”
“I don’t that would be a bold move Matt. I don’t think we should report anything for now. We should keep this under wraps” I tell him.
I look at Arin, who is still staring at the van.
“Arin…” Matt starts but is soon interrupted by Arin.
“Don’t Matt. I’m fine. I’m not going to let this son-of-a-bitch ruin everything for me. We just had a great fucking gig tonight and I feel super! I’m going to go and celebrate, we should all go, and just leave this motherfucker out of our minds, at least for tonight!”
“Whoa A fucking rin!! Who would have thought you’re such a party animal huh?! Well, we won’t say no for that offer that’s for sure!” Johnny says, as he grabs Arin and starts walking to the nearest and our favourite bar, ‘Rock Ambition’.

We soon enter the club and damn, I have missed this bar so much! I used to come here with Jimmy mostly, stay out till late, grab 2 ladies and end the nights with their company. I miss those kind of nights. Haven’t been here since.
“What are you dreaming about boy?” Zacky tells me.
“Just sweet memories, of the good old days, well nights. Spent over here with Jimmy. Good times” I tell them as we sit around the bar, making ourselves comfortable.
Quickly, Johnny signals for the bartender.
“Hey there beautiful. We would like to order some drinks. Well, couple of beers for starters and then later on a bottle of Jack. Thanks hun”.
“Someone wants to get laid tonight!” Arin remarks at Johnny.
“Typical him. Always trying to get as many pussies as possible!” Matt adds.
“He wishes he gets as many pussies as I get” I chuckle as I drink some beer.
Johnny doesn’t like that remark so he pushes me, making me spill all the beer on the counter.

“Fuck off Johnny! Look what you’ve done!” I yell, but he’s already flipping me off. I look over the counter as I hear someone murmuring. That’s the moment I see the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my life. Red hair which is tied up by the side, some tattoos visible on her arms, dark eyes, and a petite girl.
“I’m sorry about this. It’s his fault, damnit!” I tell her, trying to begin a conversation.
“Whatever. You’re still making me work more that I want tonight” she replies, not looking at me.
“Hmmm you’re a fighter I guess” I reply as I lean forward to the counter. She doesn’t look up, she continues cleaning the counter.
“What’s your name sweetie?” I try again.
She looks at me, cocking her eyebrow and not cracking up a smile. Damn, she’s not like the other girls I guess. Usually, when I talk to a female she basically starts stripping in front of me. Not this one.
“Oh come on, I’m just asking for your name! That’s it!” I tell her innocently.
“Oh right, that’s your plan, just to get to know my name. Nothing else. Not the idea of trying to get me into your bed” she says, putting one of her hands on her hip as she brings me another beer.
“Not at all. I’m not that type of guy” I smile sexily at her.
“Just make sure not to waste any more beer on the counter boy” she says as she turns around and walks away from me.

WHAT?!
I hear Johnny laughing his ass off next to me. Oh how much I don’t want this.
“Brian got his ass whipped by a girl! Finally this day has arrived!” he says as the others burst out laughing.
“Whatever. I wasn’t into her that much anyway” I say as I drink the beer.
This never happened before. And I sure don’t like the feeling right now. Cannot fucking wait to get the hell out of here.

So, a message threatening Arin...that's not good :/ Seems like the hacker did not enjoy the insult from the guys!
But they decide to party anyways..some after-party..and Brian got turned down by this girl!
