There's Only You

- The Next Day -

Renae's POV

I woke up with a massive headache. I looked over to my night stand on the right side of me where my alarm sat. It was 11am. Although I felt like I was still kinda drunk. I laid down and closed my eyes, rolling around to the other side of the bed. I suddenly bumped into a hard warm body.

I opened one eye and gasped. It was Zacky. He was only in his boxers. He turned the other way and grabbed my waist, pulling me down towards him. That's when I noticed that I was only in my red bra and panties. I thought of something and evilly grinned to myself. Time to play a little joke.

I got up and pulled Zacky's arms off me. I was then hovering over him. “Zacky, why are you still asleep? It's time to get up.” I whispered.

Zacky stirred a little and mumbled something but went back to sleep. I tried again. “Oh Zacky, don't stop. I love it when you touch me all over.” I said seductively and started pretending to moan. Emi was already up at this time when I heard her door close. She had walked passed my room and when she saw what I was doing, she started to laugh while heading downstairs to make some breakfast.

Zacky stirred a little then groaned as he slowly opened his eyes. He looked up at me grinning and tried to grab for me but I was quick and got off of him. I quickly ran into my bathroom, took 2 aspirins with water, then ran downstairs. He was already coming after me. “Can't catch what you can't get!” I yelled out laughing. I went to the living room and hide behind the couch waiting for him to find me.

Zacky's POV

After we had dropped Renae and Emi off, Brian and I were helping them into their apartment. Brian had already helped Emi into her room and was heading back to the car. As I was about to leave Renae in here room, she grabbed my arm and stopped me as I was about to leave. “Stay with me please.” She whispered to me. I had thought about it and decided to do just that. I called Matt's phone and told him to go ahead with out me since I was going to stay with Renae for the night cause she asked me to. He said that he'll see me at the studio later around 3pm and was already heading to Arin and Kimberly's place.

I helped Renae out of her clothes and she wanted to be just in her bra and panties. I was trying so hard not to rip those off her body and just take her to town. I shed off my clothes and was left in my boxers before crawling into her bed next to her. I slowly wrapped my arms around her waist pulling her close to me. She turned around and nuzzled into my chest before falling asleep.

But wow this morning it felt like my dream was coming true. It was me and Renae in my bedroom and we were just making out. It got heated real fast. Then I heard someone trying to wake me up but I shrugged it off. Then once I heard her say “Oh Zacky, don't stop. I love it when you touch me all over.”, I smiled and was instantly taken out of my dream. Looking up at her it was like my dream had become reality. Now here I am, running after her around her and Emi's apartment searching for where she went.

I headed downstairs and stood in the little hallway between the kitchen and the living room. Emi was almost down making breakfast. “Good morning.” I said still looking for Renae. Emi mumbled a good morning and continued to concentrate on cooking.

I looked at Emi and smiled as she looked at me and used her elbow to point to the living room. I nodded and walked over to the living room and looked around.

“Oh where could Ren be? I have something special to give her but I guess I can give it later.” I stood there pretending to think. Suddenly from the corner of my eye I saw Renae slowly coming out from behind the couch.

I smirked to myself and turned, nearly tackling her to the ground. “Found ya.” I grinned and kissed her cheek. She pouted but then smiled. “Aw you got me.” I stood up and held my hand out to her. She took it and I pulled her up leading her to the kitchen.

We both sat at the kitchen table as Emi put our breakfast in front of us. Eggs, bacon, sausage, and toast. Emi and I had some coffee to drink while Renae had some orange juice.

“Well it's nice to see you here today Mr. Vengeance. Thought you'd be hanging with your posse today.” Emi said before taking a sip of her coffee.

I shrugged. “I'll be meeting up with them at the studio around 3pm. But anyway, Renae wanted me to stay with her when we dropped you two off.”

Emi raised an eyebrow. “I see. Bet you two had lots of fun then.” She smirked looking at Renae from across the room. Renae blushed and shook her head. “If you consider cuddling as something fun sure.” Emi had said 'bullshit' and coughed. I chuckled. We finished all our breakfast. Renae and I were washing the dishes.

“So are you busy tonight?” I asked while drying the dishes as she washed them. She shook her head. “Nope. After work I pretty much go home.” She sighed.

“How about I take you out to dinner? It'll be fun.” She looked over at me after we were done with the dishes and smile. “Yeah I'd love that.” I pulled her into a hug.

She wrapped her arms around me and hugged me back. “Cool it's a date.” I realized that she and I were both still in our under garments. I slowly pulled away and blushed a little. That's when I heard my phone buzz. I quickly ran upstairs and checked it. It was a message from Brian.

'Hey, don't forget to meet up at the studio around 3pm. - Brian'
'Alright I won't. See ya then. - Zack'

I closed my phone and looked at the clock. It was already 12:30pm. I got changed and went downstairs. Renae was still in her bra and panties sitting on the couch watching tv.

I grinned and walked over to her. “Hey, I'm gonna head out. I'll call you when you're off work.” She looked up at me and nodded.

“Alright...oh wait, you don't have my number.” Shit I didn't. I laughed to myself and shook my head as I watched her get off the couch and quickly grabbed a pen and paper.

She walked over to me and handed the piece of paper. “Here you go.”

“Thanks. I'll see you tonight.” I gave her a hug. As I pulled away, she gave me a light kiss on the lips. I pulled her closer to deepen the kiss. It took a moment until we slowly and reluctantly pulled away. I looked at her once more before winking at her and walked out closing the door behind me. Good thing I live only a couple of houses down from their apartment. I found this out when we had dropped them off after the club. I pulled out my house keys as I walked up to my house and opened the door. Closing it, I walked over to the couch and plopped down on top of it. I touched my lips and smiled. I slowly closed my eyes. A quick nap will be okay.

Emilia's POV

What an interesting day so far. First I see Renae trying to mess with Zacky, then Zacky chasing after her around the apartment, and might I add those two were still in there underwear. Eating breakfast too! Ha ha. I had taken a quick shower and put on a white buttoned up shirt with a black skirt on before I headed downstairs to put on some laced up boots. I put my hair into a ponytail and grabbed my purse.

I sat on the couch and waited for Renae. She and I have work the same shift today at the music store. I noticed Zacky had already left. I swear those two are cute together. I was digging into my purse looking for my sunglasses when I felt a piece of paper.

I pulled it out and opened it. 'It was cool meeting and hanging out with you. Don't be shy, call me some time. ;) - Brian'. It had his number scribbled down underneath the message. I giggled to myself and added his number to my contacts.

I quickly sent him a message: 'Hey it was cool hanging out with you too. We should do it again some time.' I closed my phone.

Soon I heard Renae come down the stairs. She was wearing an army green buttoned up blouse with black pants and black & white chuck taylors. Her hair was up in a bun. “Alright baby girl, it's time for work!” I said cheering.

She groaned but I knew she was faking it. We walked out of the apartment and to my car. As we arrived at the music store, we clocked in and got ready. I was organizing through DVDs and CDs while Renae was in the back unloading stuff from boxes as she opened them.

As I was almost down organizing, a customer walked in. I looked at him and smiled. “Hi anything I can help you with?” The guy looked at me and smiled. He was a tall guy. But he wasn't alone. There was a cute blonde girl with him. “Yeah I was wondering if you have any Metallica albums here?”

I thought about it and nodded. “Of course. Here they are.” I said as I lead him over to where it was located. “Thanks” He says as he went and started looking. The cute blonde just stared at me before following after him.

That's when it hit me. I looked at the guy real closely. Trying to decipher if it's really the same person I am seeing. I was right. It was Ben, Renae's ex-boyfriend. Should I tell her he's here or hope that he quickly leaves before she even sees him?

I went back to what I was doing but kept a close eye on them, making sure they didn't see me. Yeah it sounds a bit creepy but if they start shit in this store especially his new girl who he possibly cheated on Renae with, I'm definitely throwing them out. No one hurts my best friend like that and gets away with it.
