Brian’s POV

I guided Sam towards her car and she got behind the wheel. I wished that I could do that, and I could… I mean I knew I could drive, but she wouldn’t let me.
And I didn’t plan on having a fight with her tonight, I wanted this to be a perfect night, which meant I would let her drive but the rest of the night would be going as I had planned… well or Jimmy, but that was the same, wasn’t it?!

“Where now?” Sam asked while we were nearing our goal. First stop would be the nice little restaurant in downtown, Jimmy had described me exactly where. He had reserved a table on my name so there wouldn’t be any confusion.

“To the right and then left, and onto the parking lot. That’s our first goal, I hope you are hungry, cause I heard this used to be my favorite restaurant.” I smiled when Sam stopped the car and looked at me from the side.
“Really?” She looked at the restaurant and I nodded, at least that was what Jimmy told me, and why would he lie to me?
“Yes, wait here.” I told her and then moved quickly out of the car slamming my door shut and moving around towards Sam’s door. I opened up for her and held my hand out, being all gentleman and wanting to make everything right.

“Oh, thank you.” Sam smiled and got out of the car gracefully, I held my arm out and she hooked into while I started to head towards the door.
I gave her a last look from the side and smiled, damn… Sam, she really looked amazing, but I kept wondering if she would reply to my speech later on? Would she reply, would she give in to me? Would she really mean it? Or would this all be for nothing?

“You look amazing, Sam. So damn amazing.” I whispered and wasn’t too sure if she heard me or not, but the cute little blush on her face told me that she did.

We went towards the entrance and I held the door open for her, when a waiter stopped us at the entrance “Good evening Sir, Madame. How may I help you?” He asked and I smiled back.
“We have a table reseverd on my name, Haner.” I said and the guy nodded.
“Yes, a table for two, in the private section. Please follow me.” He motioned us to follow him.

We were sitting in a nice little secluded area and the candles were already lit and a bottle of champagne on our table. I grinned, Jimmy was really prepared… damn he was good.
“Wow, this is beautiful… how did you manage all this?” Sam whispered while I held the chair out for her.
She sat down and I chuckled “That’s gonna be my secret.” I told her “Now, let’s just enjoy our time together, babe.”
I took the chair opposite of her and the waiter poured us some champagne and handed out the menu card.

Sam and I decided on all different kinds of dishes so we were able to both try from everything. I loved this about her, she was so easy to be with, easy to be around and I never had to think twice about anything with her.
I held my fork out giving Sam another bite from my food while she guided her spoon into my mouth, the evening couldn’t go any better if you asked me.

When we were finished with our dinner I guided Sam over to the small dance-floor we had been listening to this amazing Jazz band playing there all evening and I tapped my foot to the sound or I couldn’t hold my fingers still, they wanted to move on their own accord, somehow wishing I could join in.

Weird, I never had this feeling before, but right now… I had to do something and as long as it was with Sam it was even better.
“Brian, I don’t dance.. I mean not really.” Sam protested but I led her to the dance floor anyway.
“Give me a dance, please… Just one.” I begged her and she rolled her eyes “As if I could say no to that look on your face… or rather to that face in gerneal.” She grinned and I chuckled “Good to know, good to know.”

Sam’s POV

Brian guided me to the small dance floor, only a few people were there dancing but the look on Brian’s face told me he really enjoyed it.
He was moving to the music all dinner, and it was really fun to watch him like that. Not only had this whole dinner and the whole evening been a huge surprise for me, it was so much fun, even thought I had to admit, all this fuss Brian was making for me tonight wasn’t really necessary.

I mean I liked him with all this and I liked him without it. If he wanted to impress me with this… I don’t know but it wasn’t really necessary, he didn’t have to be the rockstar with all the money to take me out or bring me to some exclusive places… I liked to be with him before and it didn’t make a difference to me if we were in our hotel or in this restaurant, even though it had a nice little touch.

Knowing Brian had been here before he lost all his memories, before he lost his life… somehow I felt even more connected to him then before, if that was even possible, that is.

“Do you like it here?” Brian whispered into my ear and I nodded, “It’s really nice. I can imagine why you liked this restaurant so much. The food had been amazing, the live music had the grip on you since they began playing and the waitress over there had her eyes on you since we walked in.” I told him and Brian began to frown, following my eyes.

A blonde young woman stood near our tables all the time, she had her eyes on Brian since she noticed us sitting there, at first it annoyed me a little, but Brian didn’t pay her any attention so I knew I didn’t have to be worried at all.

Brian was here with me and he wanted to spend the time with me, he was doing all this amazing things for me, how could I think that he would spare any of his attention to this woman?
I shook my head smiling, but saw Brian eyes still on the woman “Do you recognize her?” I asked and Brian shook his head, his eyes landing on me again.
“No, never seen her before.” He said giving me a smile and putting a small kiss on my lips and sighed.

The dance was over and we moved back to our table, Brian ordered us a small dessert he wanted to share and I excused myself to go to the restroom before it arrived.
Brian said he had more planned for me, so I should be ready for it. Where would he take me now?
He said we would be spending all night together, would he take me back now? Or to somewhere new?

It was so exciting to not know what would happen next, but I was so curious? Could I get some Information out of him? Maybe with some tricks from us women? Tease him into giving me something…

I grinned at myself in the mirror, I was so excited that I couldn’t even wipe that smile off my face. I straightened my dress when I walked out of the restroom, just to find Brian and the blonde in a heated discussion. She was almost sitting on his lap, her hand trailing up and down his chest while he motioned with his hands, so he did know her? But how?!

Her ass was resting on the top of our table, while she leaned down to Brian, their faces not far apart. The smile that I thought wouldn’t leave my face was now gone… what was happening right now?
I hadn’t been gone for that long and he was already flirting with some stranger?
Because it sure looked like that, he grabbed her hand, stilling it from moving up and down his chest, giving her a smirk.

She leaned down towards Brian whispering something in her ear, and then her eyes met mine and she chuckled. My heart had dropped down to my feet, all the excitement had vanished and I thought about leaving without telling him anything, but I couldn’t… he had to follow me. I couldn’t be alone, and he couldn’t be alone… why would he be flirting with a woman now? He couldn’t be with her anyway? But maybe he was sick of my company? Maybe this was one of his ex girlfriends? Maybe they had history?

Who was I to think Brian and I would have something special? What did the voice in my dream say? Brian was banned in the book for a reason? Was this the reason?
Was he just playing a game with me?

The woman walked away from our table giving me a wink and Brian didn’t even realize that I had seen all this, did he even care?
Was I being too mean? But all this looked just too obvious… what should I do now?!
