Brian’s POV

This morning I really had no idea what to expect… at least I had no idea what plans Jimmy had for us.
He must have a plan… I still hoped he did.
“So what do you think will we be doing today? Since the original plan was for you and the guys to go alone?” Sam asked me and grabbed her bag from the table.

“I have no idea. I am as cluless as you are… but I wanted to ask you… or wanted you to know that you shouldn’t make any plans for this evening. I want to spend the time with you, and with you alone.” I put my hands on Sam’s waist and pulled her into my body, she melted to me and I rested my head on top of hers.

This was such a good feeling the closeness, her trusting me… would she react the same way this evening, after I told her what I felt?
Or would she shut down? Was everything going too fast?

I shook my head, knowing it wouldn’t make any sense now to back out of it, it was a now or never decision and never was not an option right now.

A loud knock combined with Jimmy’s voice pulled us out of the nice little moment that we shared.
“OPEN UP! GATES…I mean.. BRIAN!” Jimmy yelled again and I sighed.
“What do you think, was he always like this?” I asked Sam grinning and she nodded.
“I bet he was, that’s why he was such a close friend to you.” She grabbed my hand in hers and we met with Jimmy and the rest of the group outside.

It was indeed a familiar feeling, having the guys around me, doing something with all of them, but still I couldn’t remember one of them particularly and that was really a mind fuck for me.
I wanted to so bad, and knew there was something that wanted to escape, but whenever I thought about one longer and tried to remember any actions, the pain started again and a headache wanted to block me out.

“So what are we doing today?” I asked when we grouped up around the cars.
“Well, Matt and Zack is gonna take the girls with him, having a nice breakfast and shit.. while we together with Short Shit do something else.” Jimmy announced and I lifted my eyebrow.

“You do remember that I cannot leave Sam’s side. I told you that.” Did he forget already, what was this about?
“I know.. that’s why I let Matt and Zack go with them… Just follow my lead.” Jimmy announced and shoved me and Sam in his car, while Johnny took the passeneger seat.
“I still don’t get it, sorry.” Sam said from beside me and I nodded, there you go… I was lost as well.
“Sweetie, just do as I say. We won’t be far, but you won’t see us. This is all part of my genius plan.” Jimmy said and I laughed.

“Or a big failure” Johnny chuckled while I said the same. “Or a big failure”
“Shut up, short one. You get to be with us, but you can be quickly exchanged with someone else.”
“What? I can be exchanged, the fuck! He is the guy who forgot about us…” Johnny turned to me and I flipped him off.

“Fuck off, Christ” I replied when suddenly Johnny’s eyes widened and he began to laugh hyristecally.
“What the fuck is wrong with him now? Didn’t he take his medicine?” Jimmy looked at Johnny from the side.

“Maybe… Oh I know what that is, he remembers… you know when I began to remember you, the funniest and dumbest scenes started to surface, then the rest was back in place… so probably… Congratulations Brian, all your band members remember you.” Jimmy grinned and Johnny tried to say something but started laughing again so I couldn’t make out any sentence until he pointed to Jimmy and nodded, which meant Jimmy was right, all of them could remember me now… and I… I had nothing.

Jimmy’s POV

I was glad that finally Johnny could also remember Brian, but the one this was all about looked as sad and depressed as ever. Which really pulled me down!
I mean I was doing an affort here!
I wanted him to rememeber, and the more time passed, the more I thought I wouldn’t get my best friend back…

I couldn’t let that happen! I wouldn’t let that happen!

“Here we are” I pulled into the driveway off the mall and waited for Matt’s car to arrive as well.
I wanted Brian to get the full experience, he wanted to make Sam fall for him, this date must be fucking perfect.
But the way Sam looked at him, she was already in deep and just needed a final push and tonight I
would give that to them.
I would let them have a perfect evening ending at the beach with a romantic setting. I know shit like that and I know it must work, nothing else mattered now.

“Alright, so Sam… Will you please go over to Matt, Zack and Selena. You will go ahead, the guys knows where to go. Just let them lead you… like you were dancing, follow them… and everything will be fine. Don’t look for us, we will be invisible to you anyway.”
Sam chuckled and kissed Brian a final time before she headed over to Zack, who had his arm stretched out, waiting for her.

“Perfect, they leave and you tell us when you have to follow.” I said and turned to Brian, waiting for his sign.
They were a good distance away, when Brian began to move and Johnny and I quickly followed.
“Will you now finally tell me what this plan is about? Because I feel like I am the only one left in the dark, and I hate that.” Brian groaned and I rolled my eyes.
“You were always so curious and impatient. Just wait and see…” I told him and saw Matt and the others head to the first assigned place, they sat down outside so we had a longer range to look where we could take Brian.

“Perfect, tell us when you gotta stop.” I told Brian and we moved to the next store, and we could nearly reach everything, god… I was so good at shit like this. I studied the whole map card of this freaking mall so I knew where to stop and where to go to.

“Okay, we wanna give you a new outfit. I mean… you plan to have the perfect date, don’t you?” I asked and send Johnny away, grabbing stuff we knew Brian liked, which was pretty fitting now since Johnny rembered him, or I really would have to exchange him with Zack, but now everything working as planned.

“Outfit? Oh okay. Yeah, that’s a good idea.” Brian nodded, that fucker always liked buying new clothes, mostly with Zack, but I couldn’t let him do that now, or the day would never end, that’s why I was here, having an eye on him and leading the right direction.

“Here” I loaded Brian’s arms full with shirts, pants, and other stuff he could need. “There is a dressing room, try on.” Brian looked at the amount of clothes and a grin spread over his face.
“Whose money I’m gonna spend?” Brian chuckled and I pointed at Johnny “I stole his credit card, earlier.”
“Hey!” Johnny patted his pockets and I held his wallet in the air where he couldn’t reach it “Not joking, short shit, not joking”
“Fine, I’m gonna pay. But when you remember all this shit… and you are back home, I’ll get it all back and doubled, that’s for sure.” Johnny said and crossed his arms over his chest.
“That’s right. Positive thinking” I said cause I saw Brian already opening his mouth, wanting to complain that he might not be back… but he would, I knew it. I couldn’t let him go away again, he was my best friend, my brother…

So this way we went store after store, until Brian had three outfits to choose from for the evening.
I let Johnny bring the bags to the car, so when we went from store to store, and Sam might steal a glance our way she wouldn’t know what we bought or were doing here.
But as it seemed Matt and Zack were doing a perfect job, taking the girls on their own shopping, or having breakfast, whatever… while still not being too far away from us.

“You need a gift.” I announced as last part of our shopping trip. “Why a gift?” Brian asked and I rolled my eyes “God damn, you really are a-”
“Don’t mind… Just a small surprise for her, damn brian… you need to make this perfect. Don’t be stupid and let one little detail ruin our plan.”

“Our plan?” I asked and he nodded “Yeah, fine mine… Maybe you are right and I should go on the date with her… I mean… I was doing all the work- OUCH!” Brian had punched my shoulder, hard!

“Okay okay, message received. What do you think she likes?” I asked and an idea was already forming in my head.
“Well… I would rather like to give her something personell then buy something. She knows I don’t have money, at least not right now… We are not far from your home are we?” Brian asked and his mind was again working like mine, so does this mean I would get my best friend back soon?

“You might be thinking the same thing I am. I thought about music, our music… We must still have some demo’s with you plaing guitar and maybe even singing some vocal tracks. Let me text Matt, he got the studio in his house. I will send him to look at it and bring it to you before the date.” I said and Brian nodded, his eyes lit up “That was what I thinking, okay maybe not the singing part, but the guitar… and could you bring my guitar to the date. Maybe I can.. you know play something for her.”

“Already there. Don’t worry, Bri. This will be the perfect evening.”

I know I let you wait some time, but now something to read for you guys!

I will try to update again as soon as possible, at the latest beginning of next week :)
