Selena’s POV

I don’t really know why but I was feeling like a teenage girl again. I was excited to see Matt and to spend more time with him, I knew that in the end I wouldn’t be able to keep my hands away from him, because when I was honest…
The night I shared with him, had been amazing, and I sure wanted to do that again… without a second thought.

I was glad he made the move and called me, cause I would have waited longer before making another move, honestly I was afraid he didn’t wanna see me again after all… but that sounded different over the phone, and I couldn’t suppress the smile on my face.

Funny fact that he didn’t know, I was staying in the same hotel he had been, which meant I only had a few minutes from my to his room in the night…
But I decided after talking to Sam and Brian that I would get my stuff over to them, so I wouldn’t be spending too much money for the time being.

Brian also told me he would be coming along if I needed anything from my old stuff in the apartment, so I wouldn’t have to go alone and walk into Trevor again, because I didn’t know how I would react towards that fucker.

He not only cheated on me and betrayed me during our relationship, he made a fool out of me when I was with Matt at the restaurant, and enough was enough.
He was not even interested in me or our live, he just wanted my money, or rather my dad’s money and his place in the company.

But I wouldn’t let him have this, I wouldn’t let him stand a freaking chance.
I already talked to my dad this morning, they were already wondering why I hadn’t called them lately.
After explaining to them what happened my dad told me he would kick Trevor out before he could say Hello the next day, so I was glad that I had my backup there.
And my mom took over most of the wedding cancellation, I really couldn’t put my mind into that now, so I was glad for their support.

I knew I would get enough calls from family members during the next days asking why I cancelled the wedding and what was going on… Ughh, I dreaded that already, all because of the asshole that I thought I loved…
But enough about that now, I would meet Matt and there was no place in my mind for a douche bag like Trevor anymore.

I prepared myself and packed my stuff up. Tomorrow I wouldn’t be in the hotel anymore, I would move in with my best friend… well and her man. Her man, I grinned but also felt sadness was over me… I shouldn’t think about the fact that soon we had to say goodbye to Brian.. Only what?!
1,5 weeks and he would be gone?
Damn I couldn’t imagine that… Sam and he looked so good together, so in love… how was Sam able to say goodbye to him?!

I shook my head and tried to concentrate on my meeting with Matt. We said we would meet at the hotel, so I took a quick shower, made myself presentable, and when I was satisfied with my look I grabbed my purse and closed the door behind me, locking up to be sure.

I walked towards the main entrance and saw Matt already standing there, he wore a sleevless shirt and dark grey pants, not as official as yesterday but still good enough to eat, if you ask me.

“Matt?” I lightly touched his shoulder and he turned around to me, he had sunglasses on, but when he saw me he took them down and placed them in the collar of his shirt.
“Hey” He smiled this amazing dimpled smile and leaned down, I wasn’t sure if he planned to kiss me or just hug me, so I waited for him to decide.

And he took the chance to place a light kiss on my lips and I couldn’t help but grin, good choice.

Matt’s POV

Why in gods name am I so nervous right now? And why did I just kiss her? And when I kissed her, why didn’t I kiss her the right way?
I think I’m going crazy, right freaking now… She made me so confused and I had no idea why.

“So, should we go to my room or do you want to go get something to eat? Or?” I kept asking questions not even giving her time to answer as I realized and stopped myself, what in wrong with me?!
“Maybe we can go to your room and decide later on if we wanna go out or not?” Selena suggested and I nodded.
Nodding was save, I wouldn’t say something stupid or start blabbling again. I felt like I was looking at myself from above and start shaking my head at my own stupid behavior.

“After our call I wished that I stayed… I hope that doesn’t sound weird, because we just met each other… and I normally don’t do things like that, but…” Selena shrugged and I took her hand in mine, because that felt like the right thing to do.
“Not weird at all… can you imagine how weird I felt, calling a girl that left me after amazing sex? Begging her to meet with me again?”
“You weren’t begging?!” Selena playfully shoved my arm with her shoulder and I chuckled.
“Okay, but in my head it felt that way.” I watched her carefully from the side and she snickered a little.

We reached my hotel door and I opened up, on the table in the corner I saw the picture of the guys together with the Brian guy, reminding me that this wasn’t all about fun tonight… well not all, but I could grant myself a little bit right?!

“So you want something to drink?” I asked her and she nodded “Just some water, thank you.”
“Please sit down.” I told her and she took a seat on the bed and I sighed in relief if she would have gone to the chair, she might have wondered if she knew that guy and why I was carrying a picture of me and 4 guys around, which sounded pretty awkward when I thought about it, maybe I should place the picture somewhere else before I planned to talk to her about it.
“How long are you staying here?” Selena asked and I shook my head, trying to concentrate.
“Not much longer, maybe until the end of the week. I haven’t really planned it, you know.” I said honestly and she nodded.

“Okay” I handed her the water and took another bottle from the fridge when I saw her standing up, she slowly moved towards me and, her hands moved from my belly up to my chest and I smiled, I liked it when the girl took over and knew what she wanted.
I leaned my head down a little bit, our lips only inches apart, if she wanted the kiss, then she had to come to me.
She surprised me, when just before contact she turned around and her hair brushed my face, I smirked knowing she was playing with me now.
I smelled the citrus scent from her shampoo and suppressed a groan.

She moved over the room and stood near the table, looking down and before I could regain my thinking she had the picture in her hand, a frown came over her lovely features and I knew, I wouldn’t come around the explaning that I had to do now.

“Who is that? Your friends? You look so young?” Selena smiled not really putting the pieces together now apparently.
“Yeah, these are my friends… its from 2003, I think.” I said and walked over to her, I took the picture from her hands and she shook her head.
“Cute… you had a piercing.” She smiled up to me, letting her thumb run over my bottom lip and I swallowed thickly, perfect now all my blood was quickly running down south and I had to bring the topic to an end now.

“Selena? I have to ask you something, and I know this may sound strange but please listen to me and don’t think bad about me, alright?” I asked her hopeful and she took a step back from me.
“You know how that sounds? Like I should think bad about you, no matter what you say now…” Selena said and I sighed heavily.

“Can you look at the picture again, at the guy to the left… can you tell me if you know him or have seen him before?” I asked her and she frowned.
“How should I know this guy or where should I have seen him before?” Selena asked taking the picture from my hands and looked at it closely.
“I have not seen him… wait a second… is that… Brian?” Selena’s eyes widen and she looked up to me confused.
“You tell me…”
