Little White Lies.

Evie knew it was a bad idea. Knew that when you play with fire you tend to get burnt, but she couldn’t help herself.

The thought of being someone he wasn’t was too much, the temptation consumed him and enveloped him in something he'd never felt before.

She never thought that something so simple as a few white lies on an internet profile would cost her everything she’d ever worked for.

He never imagined that after everything he’d been through to get to where he was, he’d fall back on his ass with nothing.

It cost her everything she’d ever wanted. Consumed her into something she wasn’t.

They lost themselves.

Lost their lives.

She lost him. He lost her.

With a little white lie.
