Jimmy

When Vee appears in my bedroom for the first time tonight it takes all my inner strength not to pounce straight on top of her and fuck her brains out right there and then. She captivates in the strangest way possible, like I’m under some sort of spell by her. Sauntering forward with her hips swaying from side to side, she giggles when I jump up from the bed with maximum amount of energy and wraps her arms around me, standing up on her tip-toes to kiss me. I tease her by calling her my little munchkin like those characters in The Wizard Of Oz, not only because I love that movie to high heaven and back, but because she’s a good nine inches shorter than I am, and I can easily lift her up and throw her over my shoulder.

But, she loves me even when I act like a complete idiot. Or when I got out and murder people for my job. Though she hates to admit it, I’m pretty sure that the rough tough act turns her on to no end.

“Hey baby. I missed you out there tonight” I say as I fall back down onto the bed, watching the dark haired beauty that I get to call mine crawl up my stomach and kiss me properly, pouted pink lips pressing softly against my own.
“You always miss me wherever you go. You went to the kitchen this morning to get a sandwich and I found you pining for me in your man cave” Vee smiles back at me and I roll my eyes, knowing that this perfect girl has somehow wormed her way right into my heart, the most delicate place she could afford to be.

We can already hear the sounds of Zacky and Alex fucking like rabbits; I think it’s something to do with Zacky’s love of his job that turns Alex on and she can’t help but want to ravish him by the time he comes home, covered in blood and reeking of murder. I on the other hand, think blood on my clothes is gross, and prefer one to one snuggle time with my favourite girl in the whole wide world.
“So did you hear about what happened at the cemetery? Gates got given a baby by some dying woman” I say and she gasps in horror, putting her palms down on my chest so she can steady herself.
“Wait, so where did he go?” she asks me and I shrug.

Last I remember, he went down to the kitchens to find the girls and by the time Vee had come back up here, I couldn’t hear anything but a headboard pounding against my wall and Alex screaming for Zacky to go harder. These are the days that I regret picking the bedroom next to Zacky’s.
“I don’t know, I haven’t seen him since we got in. He sent you and Alex up here- weren’t you the only two down there?” I say and she shakes her head, biting her plump bottom lip as she thinks for a moment, her eyes casting downwards.
“Bianca was down there as well. He wanted to talk to her. Maybe he wants her to help him with the baby?” she asks suddenly and before I can answer, my bedroom door is pushed open by Johnny, who’s already got a beer in one of his hands.

“I don’t wanna go anywhere near Zacky’s room because it sounds disgusting. Come on, Brian called a meeting downstairs- guys and girls” he slurs, slightly stumbling over his words and Vee rolls of off me, heaving me to my feet as I smirk and kiss her again. She knows me much to well to ask me if I’m going to get up- instead she’ll just do it for me.
I hold her hand all the way down to the man cave as Vee calls it, the place where the five of us guys can just sit and forget about work and the stresses in being in the precarious situation that we are. But tonight, everyone and their women, including Zacky and Alex, both of whom look exhausted and like they’ve been dragged through a hedge backwards, are sat down here in the man cave, all waiting for Brian’s announcement.

He’s not even here yet but as I pull Vee down onto my lap and she curls up against my body like a cat, I can’t help but wonder if it’s something to do with the child that he brought back with him. Suddenly, the voices who are talking in the room stop when Bianca, who’s changed from her ordinary working clothes into something a little more casual, walks in with a bundle of snow white blankets in her arms, soft noises and giggles from the bundle she’s carrying echoing throughout the room. What seems to unnerve me though, is how when Brian follows, he puts his hand on the small of her back to guide her until she’s sat down on a wicker chair near Matt, arms carefully supporting the baby’s head. Brian stands beside Bianca, almost protectively and he glances down at the child before he begins to address the rest of us.

“So…as you should all know, I got given a child tonight to take care of. With a little deduction we, well Bianca, worked out that her name is Athena and she’s about eight months old. Now that we’re going to have a baby in the house, we’re going to have to adjust to taking care of a child. Seeing as we barely know how to take care of ourselves, it shouldn’t be the hardest task in the world. It’ll just take some time” Brian says softly and we all nod in agreement, while my eyes dart over to Bianca. She looks a little scared at being so close to Brian, and when Vee nudges me for staring, I know it’s because my mind is working on overdrive. I know from Vee that Bianca’s had a thing for Brian for a while, but has always been too terrified of what he would do to her if she’d ever admitted it, because Gates can be a horrible person when he wants to be.

What neither Vee nor Bianca know, is that Brian has a thing for one of the maids, but he won’t tell any of us which one- and I can’t help but put two and two together and wonder if this mysterious maid is Bianca.
“Ladies you are dismissed for tonight. Do as your Masters see fit, and we will join you shortly” Brian says softly and with a little hesitation, I nudge Vee and tell her softly that I’ll be upstairs in a moment. Bianca is the last to leave, listening to heated instructions from Brian, at each break of his voice nodding fervently. The last line I can actually hear, as he says ‘bring some clothes from downstairs. You will stay with me tonight’ and she scampers out of the room, clutching the baby close to her chest.

“This is fucked up” I mumble as Brian sinks down into the seat beside me and puts his head in his hands, his mouth tightly closed as he can’t work out what to say next. It’s dangerous enough for fully grown men and women to be involved in this kind of business, but to drag a child in here is almost like torrential suicide. As for the way Brian’s behaving towards Bianca, I wouldn’t be surprised if Synyster Gates has a soft side, just like the rest of us.

“What if people come after her Jim? It’s our job to protect Athena now, if we don’t it’ll be like sending a pig to the slaughter. Who knows who this woman was- she could’ve been someone important! If she knew who we really were, and she was on our side…” he trails off, the rest of his answer staining clear in the back of our brains. There can really only be one ending to the question, but each and every one of us knows we have to stand up and help keep this child safe. If it lives under our roof, we’ll have to be like the five fathers’ that kid never had.

“We’ll talk about this in the morning Gates. It’s late. At least then we can start to work out who the mother is and what we should do with Athena” Matt says, asserting himself firmly as the leader of our little group, and as we say goodnight to each other, I climb the stairs lost deep in my own thoughts, wondering what Vee thinks of all of this. When I open the door, the lights are dimmed and she’s sat up in bed in my favourite black lacy thing, the one that hugs her body so well it could’ve practically been drawn on.
“Hey Jimmy?” she asks as I pull of my clothes and slip into bed in my boxers, wrapping my long arms around her slender body.

“Yeah babe?”

Vee takes a deep breath, glancing at her tangled hands in her lap before she turns to look at me, with an expression that tells me she thinks I’m going to get mad.

“I think I want a baby”
