I Can Fix You

::Zack’s POV::

Ok so I'm freaking right now, I'm going to ask Remy to marry me tonight and I don’t want her to shoot me down so I'm a little on edge and jumpy and I can't wait for her to get home from work. I had bought her ring at Christmas but I chickened out and didn’t ask her but todays Valentine ’s Day so I'm gonna take her out to a really nice dinner and hope she says yes. I mean, I know she’s only 19 but we don’t have to get married right away or anything, I just can't stand the thought of ever losing her and I want to show her that.

‘Zack?’ I heard her beautiful voice ring out so I took a deep breath and walked into the kitchen and watched as she set her purse on the counter then took her jacket off and put it on top ‘hey’ I said and she smiled over at me causing me to smile back instantly ‘hey, how was your day?’ ‘Good, yours?’ ‘Good also’ she said as she walked over to me and wrapped her arms around my neck, I smiled more and set my hands on her waist then leaned down and kissed her,

She kissed back then pulled away slowly ‘so what are we doing tonight?’ ‘I’m taking you to dinner’ ‘I guess that means I should go shower’ she said and I nodded then smiled down at her, she smiled back and kissed me again then grabbed her purse and jacket and headed upstairs to our room. Once she disappeared I didn’t stop pacing until she came back down ‘is this ok?’ I heard and I turned to see her standing there biting her lip and my jeans got instantly tighter

‘u-uh yeah, that’s uh great’ I said and she nodded then walked over and handed me her coat, I opened it and helped her pull it on then she turned back around and looked up at me ‘ready?’ she asked again and I just nodded then lead her out of the house and to my car then drove the hour to the restaurant ‘oh Zack this is way too much’ Remy said softly once we were seated ‘nothings too much for you baby’ I said and she smiled then looked at her menu.

We had a great dinner and we were having dessert right now so it was now or never ‘Remy?’ ‘Hm?’ she asked as she looked up at me ‘I love you so much and I've felt so happy ever since I saw you that first night we met and I couldn’t get you out of my head after that first kiss’ I said and she blushed ‘you've fixed me and I never want to be without you’ I said softly then got down in front of her and watched the tears come to her eyes as I grabbed her hand and opened the black box ‘will you marry me?’ ‘Zack’

‘I know you're only 19 baby, we can take as long as you want, I just never wanna be without you’ I said quickly and she smiled then nodded happily ‘yes’ ‘yes?’ ‘Yes’ she laughed and I smiled big then picked her up and twirled her and kissed her as everyone started clapping. Once I set her down I slipped the ring on her finger then kissed her again ‘let’s go home’ she whispered, I nodded then helped her with her jacket and we walked up to where we pay then we went home.

When we finally got there everyone was waiting in the living room with wine ‘oh you guys’ Remy smiled and I just laughed a little as I wrapped my arms around her waist ‘we all knew you’d say yes’ Matt said as he walked over and hugged us. We both hugged back then hugged everyone else and started drinking and talking, we didn’t really drink a lot or get drunk, we all just talked and got some ideas out then everyone started to head home ‘I love you’ ‘I love you too baby’ I smiled as Remy sat on my lap sideways ‘I would say let’s go have fun but I'm dying’ she said and I laughed a little and nodded then picked her up and carried her up to our room.

When I set her back on her feet she picked out something to sleep in then headed into the bathroom while I got down to my boxers ‘you sure you wanna wake up next to me for the next 80 years?’ she asked as she crawled into bed next to me ‘I'm sure baby, I wouldn’t have it any other way’ I said as she cuddled into my side ‘me to’ ‘yeah?’ ‘Always’ she whispered then I felt her breathing even out so I pulled the blankets up closer to us and kissed her head then closed my eyes and went to sleep.

I know you guys don't care but I'm sorry I haven't updated. I started a new job that requires standing up in steel toes all day and I've been in a lot of pain. And yes I know this story is getting boring so this is the last chapter, I'm sorry.
