My Little Piece of Heaven

After the doctor’s appointment Brian and Hope stopped at Arby’s for a treat. “What do you want baby?” Brian asked. “Hmm how about a Beef ‘n Cheddar classic meal with a large jamocha shake,” Hope replied with a grin. “I am kind of surprised you didn’t get more food than that,” He said laughing. She stuck her tongue out, “You always assume that I am going to eat a lot.” He kissed her, “I like teasing you. Go grab a seat and I’ll wait for the food.”

Hope found a table and rubbed her belly waiting for Brian. “You look so beautiful baby,” Brian said sitting down with all the food. “Awe baby. Thank you. I can’t believe we are still having a baby,” She said taking a bite of her food. He smiled and took a bite, “Well the next question is if we wait until the baby is born to have the wedding or not.” She took a minute to think then smiled, “Let’s have the wedding after the baby is born. We don’t have time to plan a wedding and prepare for a baby.” He grabbed her hand, “That sounds like a great idea. You ready to head home?” She smiles, “Let’s go and tell the guys.”

On the way home Brian makes a little detour. “Baby this isn’t the way home,” Hope said confused. He did his sexy laugh and kissed her hand, “I have a surprise for you that I’ve been planning since we got back from tour.” He pulls up to a house and gets out to open her door. “Brian what are we doing here?” Hope said even more confused. He just smirks and grabs her hand, “Follow me baby.” He opens the door to a fully furnished house.

“Oh my gosh! Babe this place is beyond amazing,” She said walking into a living room with leather couches and a 60-inch LG flat screen. “Go upstairs and have a look,” He said smiling. She runs upstairs and a few seconds later Brian hears her scream. “Baby do you like it?” He says going up the stairs. Hope is standing in front of a doorway to a nursey and starts crying. “Is this our own place?” She asks looking at him. Brian smiles and shakes his head, “The deal on it closed a couple days ago and I had the guys move all of our clothes in here. It’s our own place.”

She kisses him while still crying, “Its beyond beautiful and amazing. We have our own place finally.” Brian wraps his arms around her and kisses her forehead, “There is one more surprise. Open the master bedroom door.” She raises an eyebrow and walks to down the hall to open the door. A small black lab puppy is laying on the bed sleeping. Hope gasps and walks in the room, “Baby you got me a puppy! This is the best surprise.” He leans against the door frame smiling, “I knew you would love that surprise.” She laughs and plays with the puppy, “This is a great surprise after everything today.”

He sits on the bed beside her and holds her while rubbing her belly, “This is our little family now. Just have a wedding to plan now.” She kisses him, “Well we also have some news to tell the guys about the baby.” Brian stands up and picks the puppy up, “Let’s go tell them right now.” She smiles and walks downstairs with him just admiring the place. “I am ready for our little one to be here, so we can have more kids running around the place. Brian freezes at the door and just stares at her, “You want more kids after we have this one?” Hope laughs and smiles while walking out to the car, “You will have to get the answer out of me somehow.” Brian just smirks and locks the house so they can go tell the guy the news.
