My Little Piece of Heaven

Matt sits on the bed and looks at Hope, “I figured that you might be pregnant since you have been sick the past couple weeks and having weird cravings.” Hope looked at Matt shocked, “If I am pregnant how is Brian going to handle this? Y’all are leaving for tour in a couple months.” He moved closer to her and put his arm around her shoulder, “Just go take the 2 test and see if you are. I am going to go downstairs and tell Brian to come up here to talk to you.” “Thanks Matt. You are the best but Brian is better though,” She said laughing and playfully punching his arm. Matt does a playfully pout then leaves the room and goes downstairs to get Brian. “Is she awake now?” Brian asked when he saw Matt come into the kitchen. Matt walked to the fridge and grabbed a beer and leaned against the counter, “Yeah she is. You need to go upstairs to talk to her.”

Brian gave Matt a puzzled look and left the kitchen to go upstairs. “Baby, are you in here?” Brian asked opening the bedroom door. “I am in the bathroom babe. I’ll be out in a minute,” Hope said from the bathroom. Brian sat on the bed and waited for her to come out of the bathroom, “Matt said that you needed to talk to me.” Hope walks out of the bathroom with her hands behind her back and looks at Brian smiling. Brian gets up and walks to her looking down at her, “What do you have behind your back baby?” Hope slowly removes her hands from behind her back reveling 2 pregnancy tests, “Babe I am pregnant.”

Brian looks at the test and looks back at her, “We are having a baby?” She shook her head, “We are babe. I don’t know how everything will work with you being on tour but we will take it one step at a time.” Brian took the tests out of her hands and put them on the dressed then slid his hands in hers, “Angel I am the happiest guy on this planet right now. I have the most beautiful fiancée ever and now she is making me a daddy. I love you so much.” She started crying and looked at him, “I was so scared at what you were going to say.” Brian wiped away her tears and kissed her then got on his knees and kissed her belly, “Right here is my entire world and future. You and the baby is the most important thing in my life right now. Of course I’ll want you on tour with me until you can’t be on tour anymore but I want to be with you through all of this.” Hope kissed the top of his head, “We will be with you babe but I am going to have to have doctors’ appointments and such. It’s going to be hard to be on tour with you through all that.” Brian didn’t move but just looked up at her and put his hand on her belly, “I will make sure you can be on tour with us baby.” Hope started crying again and put her hand on top of his, “Okay babe.”
