Elody's POV

The next morning, I awake in my bed with Liam laying next to me. I rub my eyes, stretch, and yawn. I get out of bed, and start towards the bathroom. Once in the bathroom, looking myself over in the mirror, and thinking about what went down last night, it hits me, Liam is still here. SHIT! His wife is going to find out about us! She's going to kill me!

I quickly run back in to the bedroom, and start trying to wake up Liam. He must be a damn heavy sleeper, because it's not easy stirring him from his slumber.

"Liam! Wake up! You have to get home, before your wife figures out you're not there!" I yell, while continuing to shake him awake. Finally, he stirs.

"What do you want, Jackie..." He tries to roll over, but I catch him before he can.

"Liam, you have to go home! Now!" I yell. He finally opens his eyes to look at me.

"Oh my gosh." He sits upright. "I'm sorry, El. I didn't mean to stay over. It'll be alright... I'll just tell her I was working late, and fell asleep at the office." As he talks, he gets out of bed, and starts slipping on his clothes. He pecks me on the cheek. "I love you, Elody. I'll see you later?" He questions.

"Of course. I'll be in at eleven." I smile at him, and blow him a kiss, as he disappears out the door. A couple seconds later I hear the door shut, and I rush to get ready, because it's already 9:45.

Brian's POV

I hear the door bell ringing, and I growl. I look over at the alarm clock, it's only 9:45, who in the fuck knocks on my door this early?! I drag myself out of bed, and head downstairs. I answer the door to Matt, Zacky, Jimmy, and Johnny.

"Good morning, beautiful." Matt says sarcastically.

"Hello to you, too." I walk away from the door, and let them come in.

"You didn't forget we have a meeting this morning, did you?" Zacky asks.

"Fuck me." I curse myself for oversleeping. I'm not used to getting up early.

"I'd rather not." Zacky responds.

"Not literally, asshole. Give me ten minutes." I start upstairs.

"We'll have to give you more than that, it'll take you ten minutes just to fix your hair." Johnny laughs.

"Shut it, short shit!" I yell back downstairs.

Elody's POV

I pull up to the office, and hurry inside with Starbuck's coffees in hand. As I walk in, I can tell Liam, or Mr. Walden, as he likes to be called at the office, is busy in a meeting, so I sit the coffee on his desk, and walk over to the meeting room to peek in. I recognize one of the guys right away, the guy who ran into me last night. Seems I won't be escaping him any time soon. I notice the four other guys with him, and decide that they must be some sort of band. I make my way to my own office, and sit, sipping my coffee.

Five minutes later, Liam calls me to ask me to bring his coffee to him in the meeting room. I don't know why, but I feel kind of embarrassed to be running into this guy yet again. I grab the coffee off the desk, and proceed to the meeting room.

"Here you go, Mr. Walden." I sit the coffee in front of him, and he takes a sip.

"Just how I like it. You know me well, Miss James." He turns his head, and secretly winks at me, as he smiles. "You may proceed with your work now."

As I walk out of the room, I can feel eyes burning in to me. I quietly shut the doors behind me, and peek back through the window, when I feel it's safe. Mystery guy seems to be frowning more now, but I can't quite figure out why. I head back to my desk, and proceed with my work.

Another ten minutes pass, before Liam interrupts me. This time, he's standing before me. I'm guessing his meeting is over, and it went well, judging by the grin on his face.

"Miss James." As he speaks, he leans forward, and slowly lowers his tone. "I'm going to need you in my office, as soon as possible." He turns away, and walks out, without another word. I follow him to his office. As soon as we are both inside, he shuts the door, and draws the blinds. "The deal went great, but I think I need a little treat to get me through the long day ahead." He walks me over to his desk ,and sits me on the corner. He kisses my neck, and trails his hand down my jawline, towards my chest, where he proceeds to undo the buttons of my shirt. He starts to slip it over my shoulders, when there's a knock at the door.

He goes to answer it, as I try to slip out of view. I must not be fast enough, because I catch a glimpse of mystery guy, and he's looking right at me. Me with my shirt hanging over my shoulders, looking like a mess. Busted.

"Umm. I can see that I must be interrupting something..." He says, turning his attention back to Liam. He doesn't look pleased. "I came up here to return this pen to you, I didn't think it would be nice if I stole it, it looks like it might've cost you some money." He starts to turn away, but stops himself. "We are going to need more time to think about this deal." He says, and turns away, walking down the hall.

I hear Liam sigh, and I know he must be devastated. The way that guy had said it, didn't sound like they were actually going to think about it. I feel terrible. I rush over to comfort Liam, but he pushes me away.

"I think you need to go home, now, Elody." He says, and walks out of his office. Did I seriously just lose my job, because my boss/lover can't keep it in his pants? Great.

I go to my office, grab my belongings, and take the elevator downstairs to the parking lot. While I'm walking to my car, I catch a glimpse of the band guys out of the corner of my eye. I turn and start to walk towards them. I've got to fix this, for me and Liam.

Brian's POV

I'm still playing the words over in my head, as I make my way back to the parking lot. I can't believe I just told Mr. Walden that, after our band had made a decision as a whole. I can't help feeling like I've failed the guys, but I also can't help feeling like I made a good decision. Who wants to do business with a sleaze bag, who sleeps with his employees? Fuck that. I make my way out the doors leading to the parking lot, and spot the guys standing off to the side, having a smoke break. I immediately feel like I should apologize for and explain what I just did.

"Guys, I hope you can understand when I tell you this, but... I told Mr. Walden we are going to need more time to think."

"Why? We already decided to go with it." Matt responds.

"Yeah. What if he decides to go with a different band?" Johnny asks.

"I'm sorry. It just kind of came out. I didn't mean to do anything but return that damn pen."

"Then why did you say it?" Jimmy asks.

"I went up there, knocked on the door to Walden's office, and saw more than I had planned on, when he opened it. His secretary was trying to pull her clothes back on. And what I didn't realize until we got here today was that I have already met Mr. Walden. He was the guy that I returned the phone to last night, even though it belongs to his secretary. I followed him to her house, and watched them kiss on the doorstep when he returned it to her. I don't know if these are the kind of people we want to be doing business with." I feel relieved, having gotten that off of my chest.

"Wow." The guys says in unison.

"Maybe you're right." Matt agrees.

"Umm... Isn't that the secretary right there?" Zacky asks. I turn around, and sure enough, it's the secretary. She spots us, and starts walking in our direction.

"I can explain." She says stopping in front of me. I guess it's time to face the facts.
