Two Beating Hearts

**Brian's POV**

Tears begin falling from Zacky's eyes and my heart shatters at the sight. I push myself back onto my feet and wrap my arms around him. "I'm so sorry Zee...I never meant to hurt you" I sob against his shoulder.

"Why are you so afraid that people might not accept you...accept us?" he asks sadly and I tilt his chin to face me.

"I love you and it took you walking away from my doubt to realize that, nothing scares me worse than the thought of losing you" I stay without a shred of doubt.

Zacky smiles back at me and sniffles back the tears, "So did you want to go?" he questions and I quickly shake my head. "Are you saying that because you're afraid of your dad?" he adds and I let out a small chuckle.

I entwine our fingers together and gently place my lips on top of his. I pull back and look into his sparking green eyes and smile, "No, I want to finish our date first" I say with a grin and he laughs.

"Ok Bri..."
