Two Beating Hearts

**Brian's POV**

It's been a few weeks since the night of graduation and Zack, Meaghan and I have been humping like horny rabbits every chance we get. I can tell that Meaghan is nervous that this crazy idea might not work, and honestly, so am I. Zacky is really excited and positive, but I have my doubts. Shouldn't Meaghan be feeling some changes by now? What if she winds up pregnant with only one of our babies instead of OUR baby? And of course, What if she changes her mind?

I'm pulled out of my thoughts when someone lays their hand on my shoulder. I look up and see Meaghan staring down at me. "What's up Meag? Is everything ok?" I ask and pat the seat next to me.

Meaghan moves around the couch and sit down on my lap and rests her head on my chest. "So... I bought a pregnancy test-" she states and my eyebrows shoot up in surprise. Is she telling me that she's pregnant, or comforting me because it didn't work?! "I'm scared to take it.." sighs and I softly caress her back with my hand. "You guys want this so bad and...ugh, what if-"

"Don't" I interject and place a tender kiss on top if her head, "If for some reason this doesn't work, then Zacky and I will figure something else out." I assure her and she sniffles back some stray tears.

"I want this so bad for you guys" she chokes out and I softly cup her face and force her to look at me.

"Listen to me, Meag...we all want this to work, but if for some reason it doesn't, nobody is going to be upset or angry. If you want to wait a few more days, or weeks, before taking the test, we will understand. We don't want to rush you or make this emotionally difficult on you" I whisper out before tenderly kissing her lips.

**Meaghan's POV**

I can't help but moan slightly as Brian's lips softly press down on top of mine. I swear that if they weren't completely perfect for each other, that I would be praying every night that they would feel the same way about me, that I do about them. I love them. I might even be in love with them, but they don't see me like that, and I completely understand.

I pull away from Brian's perfect lips and take a deep breath. "I'm going to take the test" I say and stand before making my way over to the grocery store bag that contains the pregnancy test.

"Please don't feel like you have to do this right now" Brian says sweetly and I let out a small chuckle.

"You aren't making this decision Brian, I am. I want to know...for better or worse...regardless of the outcome. I need to know" I state, just as the front door opens and Zacky appears. "You're just in time" I smile over at him and he arches a perfect eyebrow at me.

"Just in time for what?" Zack questions and I hold up the small box in my hands.

His green eyes grow wide and his jaw drops slightly. "To wait to see if you're going to be parents with Brian and I" I tease and slip into the bathroom. I follow the instructions on the box and set a timer and sit in between the two very nervous boys. I grip both of their hands and wait as the seconds tick by....

...DING!!!
