Two Beating Hearts

**Brian's POV**

I left Zacky's house and decided to head home to grab clean clothes and my car, so I could spend the rest of the weekend cuddled up with my incredible boyfriend. Boyfriend....wow, I still can't believe I have a boyfriend! Hopefully my parents will be as understanding as Zacky's were, because I refuse to break up with him just to make them happy.

I push the front door of my house open and immediately lock eyes with my dad. He looks pissed off and I'm hoping that is just upset because I stayed out all night and not because Suzy told him that I'm dating Zack. "Where were you?!" he barks and I let out a heavy sigh.

I walk all into the kitchen and lean against the cool tiled countertop, "I went on a date" I reply nonchalantly and grab a piece of bacon off the serving plate and begin to chew on it as my dad glares daggers at me.

"You're grounded" he commands and I scoff loudly. I should have known this is how he would react.

I square my shoulders and slam my fist down on the counter, "What exactly are you grounding me for? Staying out all night or going out on a date with Zacky?!?!" I shout loudly before pushing past him and storming up to my bedroom. He barrels up the steps after me and I attempt to slam the door in his face but he's too quick, and shoves it back open, narrowly missing my head.

"Brian stop!!" Suzy screams at my dad, as he grabs me by the collar of my shirt and drags me back towards him.

"Who the fuck do you think you are?! You are DONE dating that Baker boy, and you will respect me, and my house, by not slamming doors in my face!!!!" he screams and forcefully shoves me away.

I stumble sideways and my face smacks off the wall, causing my nose to start gushing blood. I firmly pinch the bridge of my nose and attempt to control the bleeding, but it's useless. Suzy gasps loudly as I turn around to face my father with a dangerous look in my eyes. "I'M IN LOVE WITH ZACK AND I REFUSE TO BREAK UP WITH HIM JUST TO MAKE YOU MORE COMFORTABLE!! I'M FINALLY HAPPY, AND IF YOU CAN'T SUPPORT MY RELATIONSHIP, THEN I'M LEAVING! ALSO, IF YOU LET ME WALK OUT THAT DOOR WITHOUT GIVING ME YOUR BLESSING, THEN THIS IS THE LAST TIME YOU WILL EVER SEE MY FACE!!!!" I rage and stuff my clothes into a bag.

"Please be reasonable" Suzy begs as tears stream from her cheeks. Fuck her! She doesn't support my relationship either.

"Get out!" my father growls and I roll my eyes at him. This fucking bastard would rather toss his son out on the street than accept the fact that I am gay.

I grab my bag and guitar and storm out of my dad's house without even glancing back. I bet Suzy is crying and chewing my dad out for being rash, and my dad is probably feeling smugly proud of himself right now, but I guarantee you that he will regret his decision in the morning. Hopefully Zack was serious about me being able to crash at his place, because I have nowhere else to go.....
