*Carry On*

**Tempest's POV**

Jimmy and I walk over to the nurses station to find out where Kaylyn's belongings are. I tap my blood red painted nails on the counter as the group of nurses huddle together in the far corner of the office probably bitching about all the yelling coming from Kay's room. Hurry the fuck up you stupid cunts! We don't have all- wait, where is Brian going??

I watch him rush down the hallway in the same direction Barbara went in and groan. Oh Brian no, don't poke an angry bear! I glance over at Jimmy, who is making obnoxious faces at the nurses to try to get their attention...god he's so fucking cute, andnudge his shoulder to tell him to stay put and grab Kay's stuff, before taking off to stop Brian, but it's too late. When I arrive they are already up in each other faces in the middle of a heated argument.

"Listen, you don't have to like me or approve of my lifestyle but I do love your daughter. Do this for her!" Brian states passionately, as he steps in the way of her escape route. That's Barbara for you, she acts all tough but she rather run away from confrontation, than actually stand up for something she says she's passionate about. I'm glad Brian isn't backing down. "If you love her it all, you'll suck up your fucking pride and do this one thing for her!" He screams and my jaw drops. Holy shit, he anger the momma bear now...watch out!

Barbara glares at him and practically touches her nose to his, "Don't you dare tell me how to love or care for my daughter!" she growls and jabs her finger into the center of Brian's chest. "You can take whatever crack you're smoking, thinking that she loves you, and shove it up your dirty ass! She's going to realize you're a waste of time and come crawling back to Alex and I, she always does!" she says smugly before flipping her hair in his face and storming off.

Brian just stands there with a clenched jaw watching her retreat. No! Do something! Don't let her line of bullshit make you doubt Kay's feeling for you...that girl is in love, no doubts about it!"If you leave now, you'll lose her forever!" he calls out and I feel like doing a backflip in joy. "Come on, I know you don't want to lose your daughter forever...." he says as Barbara turns to face him.

I can tell that she know that he's speaking the truth...Kaylyn will never forgive her if doesn't at least give Brian a chance. "Fine...but it's for her. Don't expect me to be impressed or like you. I can see through an act when I see one." She huffs before walking away.

Holy shit, he moved the immovable object! That woman has never budged on her position in an argument for as long as I've know her. It's always been Barbara's way or the highway...I often chose the latter because I'm just as stubborn. "Wow, that was pretty impressive." I say with a smirk across my bright red lips.

Brian turns around and raises and eyebrow at me in surprise. "How much of that did you see?" he questions with a slight bit of embarrassment to his tone that makes him even more sexy. I love when a guy isn't afraid to show his emotions.

I let out a small chuckle and wrap my arms around his neck while staring into his dark brown eyes, "Ummm, I saw enough to know that you're my new idol!" I squeak and pull him in closer for a hug.

His tattooed arms wrap around me and I bite down on my lower lip so I don't moan at the feeling. Oh come on...it's not like I'm going to suck and fuck my best friends boyfriend, but I can't help enjoy this feeling...he's fucking hott!


He pulls back and gives me a smirk as he takes his thumb and wipes the lipstick from the tips of my teeth. "Sorry did I step on your foot?" he says with a chuckle while pushing a stray piece of my blonde hair from my face. I can feel my cheeks starting to heat up. He obviously knows he wasn't standing on my foot...he's mocking my fluster. Cocky bastard!!

I clear my throat and quickly change the subject, "So you did the impossible, you soothed the savaged beast known as Barbara Rizzo and lived to tell about it! Maybe one day you will tell me your secrets" I chuckle and he slings and arms over my shoulder and starts to lead me back to Kay's room.

"Ha, maybe one day. Honestly though, I'm pretty damn impressed with myself for actually doing it..I-I never felt the need to try to prove myself to anyone before. I just want to make Kaylyn happy" he says and my heart swells in my chest. I would kill for someone to care about me enough to fight to be in a relationship with me. Most of the guys I date only love me inside the bedroom and ignore me the rest of the time. Hopefully Jimmy doesn't think that way but who knows...his mind is kind of all over the place.

"Trust me, you make her beyond happy" I chuckle before turning in Brian's arms and position myself in front of him down the hallway from Kaylyn's room. "Brian do you think-" I say before glancing around for Jimmy, who appears to be nowhere in sight, "-Do you think Jimmy would ever feel the way about me that you do about Kay?" I ask shyly and his eyebrows shoot up in surprise.

Oh great...that's a no.
