*Carry On*

**Tempest's POV**

So these are the two guys that Kay was telling me about...damn, I think she seriously down played their looks and charm so I wouldn't be jealous. Well, color me green with envy!

I can immediately tell why Kaylyn is attracted to Brian. He's probably one of the most physically flawless people on the planet, but his attitude needs an adjustment. Apparently he has an alter ego who's a bit of a...oh what's the word...whore! Yeah that shit ain't gonna fly if I have any say in it! Thankfully, right now he seems genuinely distraught about the situation and the fact that Kay doesn't know him.

Jimmy on the other hand, obviously has some sort of ADHD, but I love that! His random outbursts, crystal blue eyes and tall, slender frame are literally driving me craz,y and thankfully distracting me from the fact my best friend almost died because of her psychotic ex-boyfriend.

"So Tempty? How long have you know Riz?" Jimmy questions with a grin. Did he just call me Tempty? Ok, shake it off, I probably just imagined it because I'm running on fumes.

I run my hands over my face in an attempt to wake myself up but I desperately need caffeine and nicotine. I let out a big yawn as I attempt to respond to Jimmy.

"Can I grab you some coffee?" Brian offers and I nods. Good boy..you're already gain points in my book!

He stands up and walks out, leaving me with Jimmy and a still sleeping Kaylyn. I grasp onto her hand as tears fill my eyes, "Kay and I have been friends since I transferred to her high school in 9th grade." I say and let a small smile cross my lips, "I got kicked out of my last school for my, 'free spirited' nature so almost everyone avoided me. Well, I was alphabetically after Kaylyn in our class and we were assigned lab partners." I say before a single tear slips down my cheek and Jimmy steps forward and wipes it away. Fuck, he's sweet! I let out a deep sigh and meet his eyes again, "She never judged me. She accepted me as is, and never once asked, or expected me to change. I-"

Suddenly Jimmy's lips are on mine and I'm tangling my fingers in his dark hair, desperately trying to deepen the kiss. Fuck, this feels like Heaven on Earth!

Someone loudly clears their throat and I assume that it's Brian coming back with my coffee...and probably a judgement or two on our actions, but Instead I see Kay staring at me with wide eyes.
"Tempe, is this your boyfriend?" she asks and my heart sinks that her memory still hasn't returned.

Jimmy whispers out something under his breath, but I don't catch it before throwing my arms around Kaylyn's shoulders, "I'm so glad you're awake" I cry as she hugs me tightly.

She flinches slightly in pain and I quickly drop my hands awake from her. "Where's my boyfriend?" she questions while looking around the room. She must be looking for Brian.

"He ran to grab coffee, he will be back in a minute" I assure her and she smiles. I grip her hand, "Do you remember who this is?" I ask while motioning towards Jimmy.

"I assume he's your boyfriend but I don't know his name..sorry" she replies and Jimmy lets out a heavy sigh.

He sits on the bed next to me and lays a hand on her shoulder, "I'm Jimmy Sullivan or The Rev" he states but I don't see any sign of recognition in her expression, just confusion.

"Tempe, you're dating a...tattooed priest?" she questions and Jimmy and I look at each other and can't help but laugh hysterically. Oh Kay, you're so cute! "Bitch don't laugh at me!!" she scolds and we both clamp a hand over our mouths and struggle not to let anymore laughter slip past our lips.

Jimmy leans forwards and gives her a mock offended look, "I can't believe your remember my best friend but not me" he pouts and I can't help but bite my lip so I don't moan at his cuteness.

Her eyebrows knit together in confusion and I clarify, "He's your boyfriend's best friend" I state and she smiles.

"Oh so you know Alex?" she questions Jimmy, who's expression changes to angry as the words flow from her mouth. Whoa wait! Was she dating Brian and Alex at the same time?!? No...my best friend is smarter than that!

"Are you fucking kidding me?!" Brian shouts from the doorway while juggling three cups of coffee. "That asshole is the person who put you in here!" he rages and slams the cups down on the tray table.

"He would never do that, but you obviously have an anger issue!! Who the hell are you and why won't you leave me alone?!" she snaps back and pushes a finger into Brian's chest.

He clenches his jaw and starts pacing back and forth and I can tell he's choosing his words wisely. Smart move buddy! "I'm Brian and I- I'm your boyfriend" he says as calmly as he can under the circumstances and Kaylyn's eyes dart back to me.

"Tempe is that true?!?" she questions and I nod and pull my cell photo out and show her the text messages she sent me about falling for Brian. Her eyes grow wide as she scans through the messages before handing me back my phone and looking towards Brian.

"It's true.."

So it looks like Kaylyn's long term memory is starting to come back because she thinks Alex is still her boyfriend...

How will Brian help Kaylyn remember who she's really in love with?

Can he make her fall in love with him all over again?

Do Jimmy and Tempest will hook up or will she leave once Kaylyn's back to normal?
