*Carry On*

**Kaylyn's POV**

I know that Brian is upset with me for not allowing him the chance to come and see us as soon as possible. Unfortunately, I still have to bury my mother and I refuse to be the reason that he cancels a show. I've seen Avenged Sevenfold's fandom up close and personal over the last few months and I know how quickly they can turn on you if they think that you are out to break up the band or cancel a tour.

"He doesn't understand" I sigh out sadly to Ashley, "He thinks that I'm pushing him away from us when really I'm just trying to put him back on track while I process everything."

"He's just scared he's losing you.." Ashley admits somberly and my heart breaks at her words. I don't want to lose Brian. He is honestly the best thing, next to Maddy, that's ever happened to me...and she wouldn't even be possible if it wasn't for him. I must be frowning because Ashley pulls me into her arms and hugs me tightly. "Hey, I have an idea but we need to shower the Falls away first" she squeaks and my stomach turns in knots with worry...
What on Earth is she planning?

**Tempest's POV**

After hanging up with Kay, Brian is fuming mad. He darts out into traffic, nearly causing an upcoming taxi to slam into the ass end of the rental car. “What the hell Brian!?!” Jimmy screams with genuine fear evident in his voice. I have never heard Jimmy scared before and honestly it's freaking me the fuck out.

“Just shut up, Jimmy!” Brian spits out coldly as traffic comes to a dead stop ahead of us causing him to bang on the steering wheel in frustration.

I notice then that Brian's fist is mangled and gushing blood, “Um, Brian, what happened to your hand?” I gasp and cover my face in horror. Oh shit, that looks bad! I hope he didn't damage it to the point where it would effect his playing. "I think you should have someone look at that" I suggest and Brian growls in frustration.

"I'm fine" he states in a clipped tone before jerking the wheel and practically driving up on the sidewalk to get around the traffic jam.

"Fuck...Brian!" Jimmy roars as he continues to swerve recklessly through the cars and pedestrians. I understand he's upset but this is crazy...he's going to kill someone or get us killed!

Brian slams on the brakes as yet another traffic jam blocks his route. I seriously contemplate fleeing for my life but I'm not sure if I'm more afraid of being inside or outside the car in the vicinity of Brian's rage. Suddenly his phone dings with an incoming text message and he quickly scrambles to grab it.

Hopefully it's Kay and she can calm him down...

**Ashley's POV**

After Kaylyn and I take our showers, I decide to take some new sonogram pictures of Madelyn so we can send them to Brian. I've been a midwife for almost 5 years now, and I've had to deal with a lot of military families who have been separated by deployments. I know that sending a picture of their unborn child, 99% of the time, will help lift their spirits and make it easier for them to carry on with their mission.

"I don't know Ash, I'm afraid this will make Brian even more upset" Kaylyn argues and I roll my eyes at her as I move the sonogram machine over her belly and get some clear shots of their little girl.

I print them out and hand them over to Kay. "Trust me....these will let him know that you are both doing ok and hopefully ease his anxiety" I say softly as she stares down at the pictures with the biggest smile on her face. "Send those to him and then change into these" I smirk and toss a new set of lacy lingerie, that I bought for her while she was in the shower, on the bed next to her.

"You're joking right?!" she stammers and gawks at me like I have ten heads.
I shrug, cock my hip out to the side and stare back at her, "Give him something to look forward to.."

I'm super sorry for the wait and for the fact that this chapter is so short. My dog passed away on Wednesday and I've been overly emotional because of it. I promise the next chapter I write will be longer and better :'(
