I watch as James beats the crap out of Becca's band mate. By the time he's done with him his face is drenched in blood.

“If I ever see you near my daughter EVER again, I'll make your life a living hell.”

He gets up and turns to Becca's other band mate Mike.

“Call the cops. Tell them what he did. This fucker will spend a few years in jail. I am not watching my daughter go through this again. Her fuckhead ex boyfriend Gary nearly beat her to death. He's spending quite a few years in prison himself. Ten years that is. I told him the same exact thing I told this asshole. I will not allow any guy to lay their hands on my daughter. I am not losing her.”

Mike nods and calls the cops. Matt comes over to me and pulls me into his arms.

“You alright?” He asks.
“Yeah I'm fine. Let's go check on Becca.”

He nods and we head to Becca's room. I'm assuming Jimmy's still with her. Matt lightly knocks on the door and after a few seconds Jimmy opens it.

“How is she?” Matt asks.
“She's fine. She's sleeping right now. I've been laying with her. What happened with Joey?”
“James beat the living shit out of him. Mike is calling the police right now.”
“Good. Fucker deserves jail time for what he did to her.”
“How could anyone do that to an innocent girl?” I frown.
“It's not the first time it's happened.”
“We know. James said her past boyfriend nearly beat her to death.”

Jimmy nods.

“Yeah. I'd hate to see that. First that, now attempted rape by her own band mate because he's jealous that he can't have her? Prick. I like Becca. A lot. So I'm going to make sure no guy ever lays his hands on her. I'm going to take her on a few more dates and ask her out. We have so much in common. I like her a lot, guys. She's not like any other girl I took on dates. She's different. I... I think I've fallen in love with her. I never believed in that type of stuff. Didn't think it was possible, but with Becca... I feel it. I'm a believer now. I think she's opened my eyes.”

Matt smiles and claps him on the shoulder.

“Man, to be honest, I've never seen you smile like this. There's a sparkle in your eye that I've never seen before. Becca's changed something in you and I really like it. I like seeing you happy. If you do start dating, do not let her go. She's the one for you.”

Jimmy grins, nodding his head.

“I'll never let her go.”
“Good. We're gonna let you get back to her now. We'll see you tomorrow, Jim.”
“Sounds good. Night.”
“Night.”

He closes the door and Matt wraps his arms around me with a smile.

“Let's head back to our room ourselves, yeah?”
“Yeah,” I smile.

We go to our room and soon enough our clothes are being thrown across the room and we're on the bed fucking. We haven't had sex in quite a few days, so I sure have missed this.
