Brian’s POV
Zack had forced me to the makeshift dance floor, bailing the minute we arrived. Guess it was too much for him to see Dean preparing his prey for a little afterparty. I took a minute to look at the guy and I would never ever admit it out loud, but I could see the guy had some skills, I could see that Olivia chick turning into putty in his hands, this deal wouldn’t go sour anymore tonight, it was a clear as water. Now I looked at the guy a little better, I also noticed this was something completely different from how he handled Jacky. Had she been right all along?

I diverted my eyes to my girlfriend, she was dancing with Johnny, but her eyes were constantly wandering to Dean and Olivia. I didn’t care for that look in her eyes. Why was she acting so…. Jealous? I moved away from her, grabbing a beer from the bucket next to the table and sat back again.

“Hey, can we join you? I can use a break from all the dancing” Dean and Olivia walked over and sat next to each other on the other bench, while Joe came from the other side and sat down too

I saw Jacky looking at me from the corner of her eye, but I wasn’t at all in the mood. She pushed herself to my body, but I didn’t really react. She pulled me to her for a kiss, but all she got were my hard lips. Dean and Olivia were too invested in each other, but Joe looked at me with raised brows. I slightly shook my head, hoping she wouldn’t start, I didn’t want to get into all of this now. She shrugged and got up from her chair.
“I’m going to see if Matt has gone to bed without me” she smiled, kissing her best friend on the cheek, whispering something in her ear and then headed in to the house, in search for Matt. Maybe it was best if I head for bed too, I was actually pretty done with the day.

Jacky’s POV
That was it! Now he wasn’t even kissing me anymore, I’ve had enough, time for him to get where I was coming from, instead of jumping to conclusions. I grabbed Brian’s hand and pulled him up
“Come on, this is ridiculous” Brian groaned, but got up to follow me. I looked at Dean and Olivia, he was nuzzling her neck and she was smiling widely.
“Dean, I will talk to you tomorrow, right?” I pressed, making him look at me. He nodded slightly, before completely ignoring me again.

I groaned silently and trailed Brian behind me as I stormed into the house, passed all the partying people, up the stairs.
“Where are you going? The party isn’t over” Brian protested without any real conviction.
“The party is over for you” I replied as we reached our bedroom. I slammed the door behind me and pushed him back to the bed, forcing him to sit down.

“Now you listen!” all the frustration had been building up and was coming out at once “Before you start jumping to conclusions, you need to listen to me and let me finish. You were right, I might have been jealous at Dean and Olivia” he opened his mouth, but I put my hand on it “I told you to let me finish”

“I know… but yesterday I was a little drunk, and my thoughts returned to that topic and I don’t know…” I sighed, letting my forehead rest on her shoulder.
“Can you forgive me?” I asked quietly, more mumbling into her shoulder.
“It’s more the question, can you live with the consequences, because now it will only get worse, and it’s your friend… I can live with it… can you?” Joe asked and I heard the small smile in her voice.
I looked back up and also saw the smile, damn this woman “I have to, right? I’m sorry, really, babe.”
“I know, Matt… And I gotta admit, I love that you are jealous… I mean… that sex, after the last time.” Joe winked at me in the mirror.
“Oh you think so?” I let my hands wander down Joe’s thighs grabbing the hem of her panties and pulling them down.
