Matt’s POV
Both Brian and I let out a scream in frustration
“WHAT!?!?!”
We both got up, but also both changed our mind when we looked at each other.
“Oh come on guys, don’t tell me you wouldn’t have taken the chance if you gotten it!” he leaned back against the kitchen counter, completely at ease and all I could think of was how long it would take for him to stop breathing if I put my hands to his throat and squeezed.
How could he take advantage of Joe when she was drunk? How could she already have traded me for another man in her bed? How could he even end up there? Why wasn’t I?

“I think I might be a little drunk” Joe slurred into my ear. She sat next to me on the couch as we watched Johnny and Brian do a stupid game of throwing a ping pong ball into a cup. Constantly missing of course.
“I think everyone is drunk” I replied to her with a smile, my mouth a little too close to her ear.
“Matt… I have to tell you a secret” she bended towards me, giving me a full view of her cleavage.
“What?”
“I’m never drunk, I always stop before it gets out of hand”
“Not even when you were in college?” I asked her, amazed.
“Nope” She let the “p” plop “Never… I was always studying, I think I might have missed a thing or two. Never had a one night stand either…. Or an experiment with kissing a girl”
She looked all lost in thought and innocent, but there was nothing innocent about what I wanted to do to her right now. Why did being drunk always made me this damn horny! I couldn’t care less anymore and let my hand wander over Joe’s stomach and I bend over to kiss her.
“I have to pee, be right back” and the next second she was already gone… Just in time… But damn, I wished she hadn’t done that.
I laid back on the couch, closed my eyes and waited for her to come back. After 20 minutes I jolted awake. Shit! I fell asleep. Where was Joe? Why didn’t she come back?
“Where is Joe?”
“No idea man, but I think I will head to bed” Johnny replied, walking into the hallway, opening the door to the hall closet, I shook my head, something was wrong with that, but I couldn’t quite figure out what.

The stairs were too long and too steep and for some reason I was convinced that Joe had to be at the pool, so I walked down. Everything was dark. Stupid girl, was she really swimming in the dark?
No one seemed to be there, but I guess she was putting on her bathing suit or something.
“I’ll just wait here for her to come to me, she should be here any minute” I leaned back in the sunbed standing there and closed my eyes, just for a minute… just a little bit….

Brian’s POV
“Didn’t I kick you out yesterday? With a fucking good reason!?” I growled at Dean, who just stood there with a smile on his face.
“Apparently not”
His dry reply only made me angrier. I was trying to contain myself in front of Matt, trying to keep myself from really freaking out, but damn I was really close to pulling the switch.
“I think it’s time for you to leave buddy, you just vomit in someone else’s house” I stepped over to him and start pushing him out of the kitchen, and earned an approving nod from Matt.

I almost reached the hall when I heard a familiar scraping of a throat
“What are you doing Brian? I’m pretty sure you are not about to kick my best friend out again, right?”
I looked up in the burning eyes of Jacky… Guess she wasn’t too happy about this.
“But… But… He was bragging about sleeping with you and Joe”
Joe stepped into view “He wasn’t bragging, he was telling the truth.”
Matt’s neck was quickly turning bright red and he was clenching his fists so hard all color left them, what the fuck was his deal.
“Now… Is there something for breakfast? Or should we order? And where is Zack?” Joe’s calm voice made my skin crawl, I wanted to kick someone’s ass, anyone’s ass! I didn’t even care anymore at this point. The girls plopped down on the couch, Dean in between them.
I looked around, saw the angry glare in Matt’s eyes, but Joe was right, where the hell was Zack?

I fetched my phone out of my pocket and dialed my best friend’s number, the phone rang and rang, no one answering, until it went to voicemail. I tried again.
“WHAT?!” Zack’s voice sounded annoyed and his breaths were high and fast.
“Where the fuck are you?”
“Fuck is a good word” I heard some giggling in the background and then Zack again “I… Ohh baby… I’m not at home”
“I can see that, where are you?”
“I’m over at Linda’s, can’t you hear” his voice sounded amused now “I thought I make the best of the night after you kicked me out last night”
“I KICKED YOU OUT!? What are you talking about!”
“No time Brian, see you later!”
Zack hung up, apparently he was in the middle of something, or rather someone…
Zack and his green eyes always got him some… wait a second… green eyes…

“OH JACKYY!!! I know you couldn’t stay away! “ He announced and crawled to the middle of the made up game field, my eyes were fixed on Dean the entire time, and I was pretty sure it was him.. who was kissing my girl…
Only thinking about his plump lips on my girl… gross…
This kiss was definitely longer than necessary, and the game was already overplayed…
I looked around me, was still at least in my drunken mind a little aware of my surroundings, I had to be quick if I wanted to be done with my plan.
“Yo, Matt… how about you grab us some more drinks?” I yelled and Matt nodded “Sure, come on Johnny, help me out.”They got up and I looked back at the scene before me, my girl kissing somebody else… and I knew what I had to do now.

There was no other way then to get rid of this guy… I don’t even know why he was still here I mean, BBQ fine, but does he have to stay the whole night?
I don’t fucking think so!
I grabbed his collar and pulled him away from Jacky, “I think it’s time for you to leave, here is your phone, you can call yourself a cab while waiting outside.” I told him and he tried to wiggle away
“I didn’t even really kiss her… you barely gave me the chance… BRIAN” He complained and wasn’t Dean a little taller, or at least the same height then me… apparently not.
“What the fuck- Brian… calm the fuck- Heyyyy” He tried to get out of my grip, but I wouldn’t back down.
I just shoved him towards the door opening quickly and pushed him outside without a second glance.
“Oh and Dean.. just so you know… I turned the doorbell to mute. So don’t even try.” I announced and heard a voice from the living room.
“What?” I shook my head… now I began really hearing voiced… I thought it was Dean voice coming from inside, but I had just thrown him out…
Silly how the brain could play tricks on you.

“Fuck… that was not Dean… I threw Zack out…The green eyes, not as tall… why didn’t he say something… idiot” I looked at a smirking Jacky, sitting beside Dean who had a even wider smile on his face, when his phone started ringing.
“Hello? Sure, yes… Ahh damn… really… I’ll be there in 30 minutes. Yes, sure. Bye.” Dean looked at Jacky beside him, giving her a small kiss making me step forward but then realizing what I did and stopped in my tracks.
“I have to leave, sorry for not being able to make my gorgeous sleeping companions a proper breakfast, but business is calling… But I will make up for it, I promise.” Dean announced, kissing Joe’s cheek as well.
“Thanks for the amazing BBQ and well night” He said and waved a final time before waving a final time and he was gone… just like that.
“I hope he wasn’t serious about making up for the proper breakfast part…” I muttered while Joe and Jacky both looked at his retreating form.
“Jacky, can I talk to you for a second? You had something I needed to help you with, right?” I asked and hoped Jacky would play along.
“Yeah, the problem with my laptop, you got a second?” Jacky asked and I suppressed the relieved sigh.
“Sure, come on.” She got up from the couch and I saw Matt taking the place next to Joe and it seemed like they had something serious to talk about, couldn’t these two just let business be business one day and not care what is happening there… but apparently not.
I closed the door to Jacky’s room she smiled at me “So what’s the thing I need help with Brian?”
“I kicked Zack out, my best friend… for you… because he kissed you… and YOU didn’t show up in your room, like you promised! I was waiting here for you, Jacky! I was longing here for you” I walked towards her quickly, pressing my body to hers, her arms slung around my neck the very instant I was near enough.
“I don’t know what happened and why I fell asleep on Joe’s bed but I promise you I will not let you wait again for me, babe. And you have to believe me when I am telling you, we just slept, there was nothing… he just likes to tease you, babe… You are so jealous…” She grinned and pecked my lips.
“Jealous? Me… I am not jealous.. I was never jealous in my life…” I lied like hell, I was freaking more than jealous.
“Not even a tiny bit jealous?” She asked again and put little kissed all over my jaw, moving to my throat, making me moan.
“Maybe a little… and I know a good way for you to make up for it…” I growled at her and grabbed her hips to holster her into my arms, god… just one night without sleeping next to her and I had missed her like crazy, that’s love right?

Matt´s POV
“What the fuck Joe?” I whispered the minute I sat down next to her. She kept staring at her cup, completely ignoring me.
“Why did you sleep with the guy, you are mine!”
“I’m no-one’s Matt, if you can’t talk to me normally, you better keep your mouth shut” she hissed at me and I saw Arin glancing at us. I pushed off of the couch.
“Fuck this, I’m in my room, trying to catch up on my sleep” I stormed over to my room, slamming the door behind me. I hated this, I wasn’t able to like her openly, I wasn’t able to fight with her openly. Fuck this!
I fell back on the bed and got comfortable in the pillows, closing my eyes. A soft knock on the door made me open them again.
“Matt? Can I come in?” Joe suddenly stood in my room. It was weird, she had only been in my room once, but that was just my bed. No woman had really been in here for a long time, but somehow she looked like she belonged.
“Do whatever you want”
I turned my back to her and felt my heart speed up as I heard her come closer.
“Are you going to talk to me?” He voice wasn’t sweet or shy, but demanding, I turned to face her.
“Why would I? I am supposed to be the one dating you, I am the sensible one, waiting for us to be able to be together and at the first opportunity, you get into bed with another guy?! Why do we need to talk?”
“Good, if you have already decided on your opinion I better leave” she turned around to leave, but I leaned off my bed and grabbed her waist pulling her down next to me. Her body formed to mine immediately.
“Nothing happened Matt, I promise, don’t you think I rather sleep in your arms?”
I thought about what she said for a minute, and I believed her, I knew this was different.
“I hate this Joe, I want to show you are mine…. You are mine, right?”
She lifted her head and bend over me “Yes Matt, I am yours” she kissed me softly and I let my hands go through her hair, never breaking our kiss.
She did back away though and looked at me
“If you want to make this official and tell your friends, I suggest we go down and tell them, or maybe show them” the twinkle came in her eyes as she kissed me again, with more want this time and I sighed into our kiss.
“We can’t, I can’t, I first have to get the Brian thing over with”
“Okay…” she replied “But then you need to quit being such a fucking jealous ass”
I looked at her with an enormous smile on my face “did I make you swear just now?”
“Shut up” she giggled and got comfortable to my chest again.
“Let’s get some sleep… ass”
